I had a lovely stay at Hotel Kazakhstan. The service was great, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and comfortable. The only downside was that the hotel was a bit crowded, probably because my stay was during the weekend. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

I arrived the hotel at 1300 and approach reception, the male staff just told me 1400 check in time. I understand the hotel got it's own policy, but most other hotel will still try to check if any room available as many client will check out early. I am disappointed the staff doing nothing, no smile, no apology, no trying to check.

Breakfast is amazing. The rooms have stunning views. The staff are somewhat helpful but their internal WhatsApp is terrible.

Nice modern furniture’s inside  the room & clean hotel.  It’s convenience to walk around.

Compliments to Kamila at the Front Desk! She really accommodated me during my stay. She helped me book my Yandex. The room was pretty nice, the place is conveniently located to restaurants and major sites. Moreover, too my pleasant surpise, I got a cake and wine in my room during my birthday!

I have stayed here quite a few times. The location, the facilities and services are top notch. I love their scrumptious breakfasts. The big wide balconies and the view from them are spectacular!

I had a very nice stay there and have a nice experience too. My laundry was hung at the balcony and who knows the strong wind blew them all off. The security man there really help me to look for all my clothes. He really went looking under the cars, at the grass patches, everywhere. Once at night and once in the morning, I managed to get back some of my clothes. Temur, if I got his name correct.

It's an older hotel, but it's unexpected that it has sports facilities and a swimming pool. The service staff is also quite enthusiastic, the room is relatively large, and the things are relatively clean and sanitary. The breakfast needs to be improved.

Service and breakfast are good. The staff at the reception is very friendly. Nevertheless this hotel needs an update, the rooms are old and the walls are not soundproof. You can hear everything your neighbor says. If you have bad luck like me and a noisy neighbor you will sleep only a few hours.

Oh what to say about this hotel ! Some of the staff very much helpful but most of them are pretty much not interested to understand or listen at all. Old building for sure. Room lights are warm but dull warm. Room key card doesn’t work most of the times. Don’t be surprise if the hot water turns the chilled water out of the blue and for long hours or the day.

The cabinets and stools are stacked together, making the space very small. The door lock is difficult to open. The lock on the balcony is also broken. The hotel does not provide slippers and mineral water. No one cleaned the room after staying for three days. The breakfast is OK.

Very bad experience. I left my dior bag in the hotel and says don’t have it. I’m very very sure it was it the room. Reception when check in was rude. Check out - reception is also rude, but one lady is nice. She’s the only one. Toilet disaster. When you need to take shower, u need to hold it with ur bank. Toilet bowl are sharing. And so many more

The hotel is generally good. The breakfast is rich and delicious. You can also see the snow scenery in the distance while eating in the restaurant, which is a different experience. I will stay here next time I go to Almaty on business!

Located at Gogol Street with lots of offerings around, super easy to get anything you want. Hotel is old but very well maintained, tip top cleanliness. Breakfast was great too, definitely recommend to anyone whom love to experience authentic Kazakh’s hospitality (which means, less friendly compare to SEA but i guess thats the Kazakh’s way)

Decent Hotel. Nothing Special. Location is usually 15 minutes from city places

Great hotel in convenient location. Had spent the previous 3 weeks travelling the Silk Road and trekking in Kyrgyzstan so some luxury was welcome. Ideally would have preferred a swimming pool but the top storey jacuzzis were a treat. A decent hotel with spacious rooms. Breakfast is served with a nice view of the mountains. The only downside is that it can get very noisy in the hallways, as many families with children stay here. I couldn’t get proper rest in the morning after a night flight because, despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, there were loud screams, running, and shouting from numerous kids for about an hour

This hotel should be 150 per night in China, but in Almaty, it is close to 900 including tax. I don't understand it. There is no need to discuss bedding and pillows. I would rather add 1000 to stay in Swiss Health Resort.

Hotel located very near to the atakent exhibition hall. There are several restaurant and cafe opposite of the hotel. The 2 lady frontdesk working in the 25 April, 8pm is very friendly and helpful with my request. All the hotel staff can speak English which is a plus. Overall this is a great hotel to stay if you’re attending event in the exhibition hall.

If you want to get to the hotel from the Almaty International Airport, try to make prior transport arrangements with the hotel for a fair rate. Walking distance from the main shopping street with indoor swimming, sauna and steam room facilities. Unfortunately the gym equipment is not working so you can only use the treadmill and dumbells for weights.

Relatively new hotel located in central area of Almaty (can walk around to the majority of what there is to do in Almaty). We picked this hotel mostly because of the location and the feedbacks of previous customers. Apart from the good location, there is nothing good about it. The front desk had a bad attitude. They said they didn't have a charger when I asked to borrow one. Then they changed one and said they could charge my power bank. But when I came back, it was not charged at all. Bad review, bad review, bad review. The room was like a guesthouse.
