I booked a day package here and it was worth every penny. The highlight was definitely the spa, a massive thank you to Madvi and Khema for their amazing work. There are no slippers, toothpaste or toothbrushes that a hotel should have, and it is still far away from Port Louis... It is misleading to say that it is only 200 meters from the city center (it turns out to be the center of Xiaozhen), which is really wrong!

Used this villa as a short break away from our Mauritius home while we were visiting from the UK. Belle Mare is just up the road from our home in Trou D'eau Douce but it's notably cooler at the villas - the aircon in the bedrooms certainly helped! Orchid villas is the perfect place to have some peace and tranquility at an affordable price. The lady at the reception is really friendly and helpful with almost everything. Been there twice this year. The booking process to getting the keys to the villa went smoothly. The villa has 3 rooms, a big living space, with decent amenities in the kitchen. The pool is not huge or too small. We enjoyed it. Truly recommend. Had a good time. Will surely go back again.

This is a great choice to stay if you're on a budget and is a 20 minute walk from beautiful Trou-aux-Biches beach. Our experience was ruined by an inconsiderate group of guests (9 in a 4 sleeper) that got out of control and even the guards couldn’t get them to settle down. 'Very helpful host, in an older style auberge.. Handy to the airport. Host organised a hire car for us at a reasonable rate. General note: This is a small island, you could stay anywhere & still only be a max of 2 hour drive from anywhere else! Main roads are good & easy to navigate with Google map, but some village lanes are incorrect.

Convenient location if you need to be near the airport. There is a bus station nearby: bus number 10 costs 30 rupees and takes you directy to the airport, but it only runs during the day, other time — taxi, which you can negotiate for around 15 euros/dollars. Room had everything I needed and was comfortable. I slept super well. The owner was also super friendly. He even woke up at like 5:30am to make sure I had coffee before my flight. Such an awesome guy.

We stayed 2 times at Younoos place and both times it was a pure pleasure. The room is clean and has everything for comfortable stay + the owners make you feel cozy and welcomed. Perfect for those who’s looking for authentic Mauritian hospitality❤️
