Where it falls down it the breakfast. The food is edible, but not great. There is room for much improvement. I have stayed at multiple One Hotels, and this has the worst breakfast of all I have stayed in

Noice from the nearby freeway, to loud. not a good resting place if you need to rest

I think I have stayed at this property maybe four or five time, only one stay was not so great. I had a room that faced the highway, and the truck noise kept me up

After that I always took a room on the opposite side, something the staff was always happy to help with, and I slept like a baby

This is a great classic. If you’re looking for a colonial type hotel, you’re in place. Location is ideal for those who want to enjoy the resort or have a transportation.

The only negative would be that it's a bit corporate and things get dropped along the way, but I guess that expected since it's part of a large organization

Not great for holiday, just fine for quick stay. Parking is not in the property, it is close but it is need it to the staff to open the gate, at night is not ideal

Very pintoresque!! Being a restored building but in a very charming way, makes this place unique! A restaurant is in the property but is not part of the hotel, limited parking but walking distance to downtown.

Rooftop restaurant noisy some not all nights but lots of sound in Mexico. Neighborhood always felt safe and great weekend market across the street. Clean water morning coffee for 20 pesos

The unaffiliated restaurant in front is good, but a bit noisy during business hours, so if you want more privacy, ask for a room around the back patio

Loved the colonial atmosphere and look to Al Otro Lado. The receptionist, Sheyla, was very friendly and helpful. The staff was nice and helpful

I stayed for 14 nights and I have great things to say about the property and the staff. This is a model property for every other hotel in my opinion. Everyone was pleasant and guest focused. Super experience!

I really like this hotel, it is quiet, the service is good, the facilities are very good and the bed is comfortable, the only bad thing is the restaurant, both in quality and service.

Water in the shower is not strong and door for bathroom could not be easily closed. We were supposed to get free breakfast

The staff here are exceptional, the rooms are a bit dated but clean. The breakfast has a good variety with great coffee. Location was great as we went to progreso many times, lots of shopping near.

Be aware that this really is more of a Spanish speaking hotel than an international business hotel

The outside of the building is pretty out of shape; but in general; the breakfast is great and with variety; the rooms are pretty clean and wide open; pool and gym perfect; the service with reception great; how ever when you have plenty arriving you should have another person not only one; but even like that the girl at front desk did great

The breakfast was a buffet, with pancakes, yoghurt, cereal, bread, fruits, eggs, sausages, bacon, juices, coffee and tea. You always had a good start to the day. Nearby is a huge shopping mall, lots of stores

And I like to check and review them and this hotel Holiday inn express ROCK is awesome and pretty awesome price; only the location is far for the center of Mérida but for the north area is great

We had real good dinning experience at Los Velas. The Chef Miguel gave personal touch to our food and made cuisine which we love. He didn't even know our preference but he amused us. Also serving by Justo was really good

It’s not the sleek, ultra-modern glass tower your influencer cousin stays in, but it has a certain retro charm that I actually dug. The Vibe Let’s be real: the decor hasn't changed much since Titanic was in theaters

One thing that has remained constant and consistent is the people. They make our stay comfortable and like home

I am particularly fond of a weekend breakfast of eggs benedict or cochinita pibil, but also enjoy it for ladies lunches, and evening dinner on a chamber music concert night

By far the best hotel experience we ever had! Amazing staff, very nice rooms and amenities, but the best part is that the wild animals living in the hotel area

There are black tarps hanging over all so if you look in their direction from the beautiful pool area, it's like you're in the middle of a post-indusrtial wasteland The photos are taken from the construction area so they don't show it

Room was nice and spacious. Bed was a bit too soft for me. Breakfast is basic and the same every day. When we came back from a trip in the afternoon, there were no towels left for the pool ?!

Wonderful Oasis in the jungle Amazing apartment with separate lounge/kitchen. Great bedrooms and comfortable beds. Nice bathrooms. The pool area/restaurant is stunning.

The cons are wish the water is warm when taking a shower it was cold water, one of the rooms the bed sheets has stains, and the pool is nice it just needs to be painted you can see the paint is coming off

The hotel is new but it seems like the construction people did leave traces of bad designs and job. Owners and management need to look into that because it will not last more than a year and problem will start appearing

Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. Few issues: When you take a shower the entire bathrooms get wet. The shower needs a glass door or a step to contain water

the staff were wonderful. they had fantastic price forward excursion suggestions. very nice and helpful. location was very central to shops and good food

Great place, very clean, excellent food, fantastic view to the city and trendy rooftop pool with a bar. Right on paseo montejo it's the main street in Merida with lots of tourists, very clean and safe area

Not a bad place to stay, good location and friendly staff. There were coffee makers in the room but no mugs or coffee. Only 5 pool chairs for 156 room hotel. :(

Room was tired with visible black corners and excessive caulking in bathroom especially around tub. Linens (towels and sheets) were threadbare and stained which gave a dirty impression

The food at the hotel is scrumptious, beautiful pool overlooking the shark tower. Close to restaurants only 1 minute away, shopping center 1 minute. And most importantly, service at a very high level

The hotel was well appointed and conveniently located near a mall, though not very close to the beaches. There’s an infrequent buggy to a nearby beach club at SLS, which takes about 15/20 min walking

The hotel's location is decent, close to a commercial area, and getting a taxi is quite convenient. The room's blackout curtains are really good. However, all the water in the room has to be paid for.

There were basically not many people taking the indoor courses or they were directly cancelled. The activities in the outdoor swimming pool were very popular

The service is very good, the hotel is large, the beach is beautiful, and the swimming pool is large and clean. Tipping is free, the food is rich, and dinner needs to be reserved

Great all inclusive hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and there was so much to do during our stay. The room was amazing as well as a good selection of food/restaurants - will definitely come again.

After reading other people's reviews, I finally chose this all-inclusive hotel. The food there was not as good as I expected. The daily courses arranged by the hotel were organized by the hotel staff as coaches

Everything was good, but I experienced racial discrimination at a Mexican restaurant, which made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.

The room is a good size and hotel has a good location. There was a guy who was especially patient with us, but I don't know his name. Basically all of them were helpful

The location is convenient, the receptionists are all lovely, and they can help you book a taxi, which arrives almost instantly! Their English is also quite good, so communication is not a problem

She even gave us our room with out even having us sign the room docks. She called us back later that day. Its alot better then just muffins and toast. Its a good breakfast to start your morning

Breakfast in the mornings and even if you stop by for a few days, you can take advantage and go on a tour of many that Cancun has to offer with NGM your agency. The prices are affordable, not off the ruff

Everything you would expect from a regular hotel. The only issue I had was with the body wash and shampoo. I think the bottles basically had the same thing, and they were very low quality

Closer to check-in time, staff suggested we relax on the rooftop and grab lunch, which was nice, but our room still wasn’t ready until after 3 PM. Other than that, everything was fantastic!

Beautiful boutique hotel. Stayed in one of the suites and it was a great experience. Make sure to check it the roof deck bar in the evenings.

Everything was good safe area and has a pool hotel was very quiet

I went on a business trip in which you just want to have a good rest and this goal was achieved, the hotel is comfortable, the service is fast and efficient reception, in the evenings I saw that some tourists were very quiet

However the good location, affordable, a big communal area with free flow coffee and tea and free breakfast make up for it. Breakfast is simple and typical Mexican type. Since is free so don’t ask for too much

Happy to see a water dispenser for us to use. We stayed here for 3 nights as we ppa to do day trips

Also some lower level floors you will hear lots of noise from either luggage being rolled around most of the night, or if near a balcony the noise of someone dragging the chairs and tables at night

I loved the hotel, it has a pool table and PCs, Xbox Series S available to relax, the bar is good they make delicious mojitos hehe 😅, highly recommended, I would come back, it also has a charger for electric cars, in case that information helps anyone ℹ️

On my first day living in the sink, the water couldn't flow down, so I had to exert a lot of effort to open the sink! I live on the seventh floor and it happened to be raining and there were two leaks! I don't want to trouble them! I use trash cans and towels to keep out the water

Pool: Pools are big, there are 3 big and 1 2 feet deep, plus the pools in the kids/teens zone. There are not enough sits and they all taken by 8am. No palm trees on the beach or around pools

The buffet meals were good, but too crowded, especially at breakfast: queues to get in, queues to get served. The two outstanding restaurants were the steakhouse and the French restaurant

The check-in queue was incredible, an hour's wait. There were very few staff members; the person who helped me was very friendly, but after that long, tiring, and hot wait

Everything went well. The only thing was there were a lot of people.
