We had great service at The Avani. Abraham, Erik, Andres and Jose took great care of us at dinner and in the bar. The only thing that I would say needs improvement is the check-in process. The girl was very pleasant, but it took forever with the system.

Great hotel with excellent service. Convient for both airport and Puerto Morelos (well worth a visit for beach and food). Sadly didn't get a chance to use pool but it looked good. Special thanks to the restaurant and bar staff who really made our visit special. Abraham, Jose and Juan. Will definitely reuse this chain of hotels again from our experience.

Close to the airport, free shuttle provided, very useful. Remember to book in advance. There is a mall just opposite to the hotel, many restaurants inside. The hotel itself is neelw and modern, highly recommended

This hotel is about a 7-8 minute drive from Cancun Airport. It was a very nice hotel. There were several hotels nearby, and it was a quiet area. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that the hair dryer, which was supposed to be provided, had been forgotten. I was in a bit of a pinch when I realized it was missing after taking a shower... Also, it took a while for the hot water to come out...

This is a clean, comfortable hotel 15 mins from the airport and reasonably priced for a stop over. The room is spacious and has everything you need. My only criticism is that I messaged the hotel several times before my trip to organise the free shuttle service from the airport and got no response. I also called from the airport and they then said they could not provide one. Taxis from the airport...

All staff are very kind and nice.

The location is far from the city center and the hotel zone, but close to a shopping mall and a few restaurants. The paid parking service is very convenient (a few euros per day). The room is quite bare, but clean enough. It really needs at least a kettle and a mini-fridge. There was a problem with very weak water pressure in the shower. The staff was kind.

Simple and clean, with a relatively quiet surrounding environment. The location is excellent, ideal as a transit hotel for those arriving in the city or on their way to the airport. There are several convenience stores nearby, and the nearest shopping mall is about a ten-minute walk away.

Great location close to the big shopping center. But you can hang laundry as it is very small the room and no balcony. Further it is good. They have a drinking water machine in the lobby

I had a very pleasant stay at the Ibis Hotel in Cancún. The property is clean, comfortable, and offers great value for money. Located in the side of a big traffic circle. Malls are near by but the beaches and wet lands are not close by. Hotel is basic.

The property is immediately annexed to the Galenia Hospital where we went for our annual checkups and so it's extremely convenient to stay there, as a corridor leads straight from the lobby to the hospital. The beds are comfy, the amenities are fine. There are nice restaurants and shopping centers that are nearby. The towels are terrible and the bathroom stalls look like they need better cleaning...

The pool needs a complete retile and was a bit slimy. Bed was comfortable but pillows were old, flat or lumpy. Hotel is clean and quiet and staff were wonderful. Breakfast buffet was quite good and staff were very accommodating. Not a walkable area but Uber is cheap. All in all, a pleasant stay

The location inside a jungle was very attractive and athmospheric. In the beginning, we were somewhat lost because the parking was located on a different location rather than near the entrance. However, the rooms were very clean and thought about. All was good. The experience was fantastic And we took pictures of the garden. Hilarious!

The hostel was reasonably located in the hotel zone however a bit far from downtown. The amenities were ok - kitchen was ok, it also had a lounge and cinema room and cafe was in the reception. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Made great friends. Have to put in effort to socialise there as it’s quite big. Beautiful location and property. Female only dorms. Really cool wildlife. However, Beds are creeky and don’t have guards on the top bunks to stop u falling on marble floor. Lockers sound like you’re scraping metal across the floor and wake everyone up. Not amazingly clean. Great location, super close to the beach, good facilities, pool, bar and Great Lake view. Slightly dated in the bedrooms, no curtains on the beds and the rooms could have been cleaner, I think there was som confusion as to which bunks were used and not. I had an issue but the staff were quick to respond and move me to another room quickly.

Selina Hotel offers a great quality-to-price ratio. The location is excellent — everything is close by, especially the supermarket, which is perfect for breakfast options. The hotel is also about a 10-minute walk from the beach, which is very convenient. Considering the price, it’s definitely worth recommending. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Ocean Spa hotel, it was clean, well kept, and safe. The ocean view was pretty but the beach was more of a harbour beach as other reviews have said, not really for swimming. Pool was very nice but lots of seagulls. Overall, a nice place to stay.If you're not expecting too much. The beach area is small and not really what you think of when going to Cancun, it is more like a harbor beach. The Ocean Spa Hotel was clean, affordable and nice for smaller scale hotel. It was wonderful to be on the beach side of the zona hotel , it was close to transportation to Isle Mujeres and public transit stops. The buffet had great food and the ala carte restaurants were good to try something different. It would have been nice to have access to the included activities of bicycles, paddle boards...

This was a nice place. Very mellow and quiet. Reminds me more of a family kinda place with kids. Food was not the best. I left every meal hungry still. Everything was great. A little outdated but worth the money. Other thing is they should mention you can not go in the beach water at this resort which ******.

Excellent location, we were upgraded to a master suite (probably a lucky break), and the buffet and drinks were good and varied. The staff was helpful and very friendly.

The buffet food was delicious. It was a shame there weren't many specialty dinner options besides the buffet. Overall, the staff were friendly. I really appreciated the free room upgrade. Both the pool and the ocean were well-maintained and pleasant. However, the hotel's location is a bit poor for watching the sunrise. It's good value for money.

I loved it was great for one night had a lot of fun. I liked the other places around the area but this was a bargain price. My wife and I were recently vacationing in Cancun and were asked to come see a tour of the Garza Blanca resort. We were at a different resort. So we agreed and were welcomed by the most accommodating, sincerest, graceful, make us feel like VIP staff we've ever experienced. The hotel d environment is comfortable facing the beach, and the restaurant breakfast established rich like to wake up to see the sea in the beach can roam freely. But the hotel facilities are more dusty.

It was nice to spend a vacation. We stayed in the ocean front view room, so we just stayed in our room the whole day. Some of our room's amenities were not working at all... the scale and stand right.

I have stayed at the hotel many times , very convenient to the ADO bus station , central to restaurants. The room was clean and served its purpose. Hot water. The front desk could do with improvements, only one man was friendly and could speak English. There is no hairdryer in the room and should you wish to use one you must leave your ID at reception. The property is very close to the Ado bus station. It’s a great central location right next to R1. However it is a very dated property and the WiFi cuts on and off all day. Also the pool closed at 8:30pm two of the five nights that I stayed, so which is way to early for Cancun.

The service was good, but the room had a pungent smell that was unbearable!

Stay was very good , room for as clean, but they barely have warm water, so if your use to a nice warm shower, don’t expect that here.

Great budget accommodation. Everything you would expect from a regular hotel. Everything was clean. The only issue I had was with the body wash and shampoo. I think the bottles basically had the same thing, and they were very low quality. Other than that everything was satisfactory.

Great stay! Loved the staff, food, and location! Transportation was easy to arrange when needed. Only downside was my early check-in request for 11 AM wasn’t met, my guest and I had to wait over 4 hours in the hot lobby after our flight. Closer to check-in time, staff suggested we relax on the rooftop and grab lunch, which was nice, but our room still wasn’t ready until after 3 PM. Other than that...

Indeed an old hotel. However the good location, affordable, a big communal area with free flow coffee and tea and free breakfast make up for it. The air conditioning is weak. Breakfast is simple and typical Mexican type. Since is free so don’t ask for too much. Happy to see a water dispenser for us to use. We stayed here for 3 nights as we ppa to do day trips.

The hotel's location is decent, close to a commercial area, and getting a taxi is quite convenient. The room's blackout curtains are really good. However, all the water in the room has to be paid for.

The pool view is nice. The location is a little far from the hotel area but this place offers a different view. The lobby area is also nice.

Perfect location and great hospitality

Great value and a great location. We stayed in an "apartment" that was really just an efficiency kitchenette in a bedroom but it had everything we needed for around $100/night.

The reception was not really attentive to address the issues raised by us like , no sleepers in the room , the sink water is not draining properly, poor condition of shower , toilet flush tank works on your luck only ! No response at all ! Could be much better !

Pretty decent hotel, and best of all I’d say is probably the location. I did like that it’s very close to the ADO Cancun bus station. And a 7-11 right next door.

There are many restaurants around the hotel. Although it looks a bit dark at night, it's still quite safe. The front desk staff speaks English.

Hygiene needs to be improved. I was bitten by a blister the day before. I don't know if it was lice or fleas. There were three of us in the room. They said that only one bottle of water was provided. We bought a bucket of water ourselves. Some service staff were very nice and sent extra water. Some service staff were very dull. Overall, it was pretty good. The room was large and spacious, and the food in the restaurant on the first floor was delicious. The quilt was too old and too thin.

The hotel might have been undergoing renovations when I booked, but the room I stayed in was clean, tidy, and spacious. The balcony got plenty of sun in the afternoon, and the lobby lounge area was quiet. The pool was clean and the facilities were good. I'd definitely stay here again.

Perfect location for walking to the city center. For public beaches, you need to take a bus (R1/R2) or an Uber. The staff were very kind. Buffet breakfast. The room was spacious. The only drawback was the high humidity, which unfortunately made us feel cold during the night. Cleanliness was so-so.

The bathroom window wouldn't close, making it noisy throughout the night. The showerhead was faulty, and the hot water pressure was poor. The furniture probably needs some repairs as well.

It was okay, nothing special but it got the job done.

The room felt dated, and the water boiler was quite noisy, especially at night. The doors also have poor sound insulation, so footsteps and conversations from the corridor are clearly audible.

Thank you for our wonderful 4 night stay. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool and great breakfast. The only negative side is no kettle in the room and they charged us for 2 cups of boiling water of 80 pesos. It’s a bit out of the way from the main town and attractions but that’s why we booked here. Thanks again

The only bad thing was that we spilled a drink in the room and there was no one to help us clean it up. We even had to go down to reception to get rags to clean it up.

Is definitely a 2 . Nothing to get excited over. It is like you think it could be for 2.5 hotel. All inclusive means cheap food, cheap food.

Although it is called an all-inclusive hotel, the dining time is not synchronized with the hotel check-in and check-out time. The buffet lunch I booked could not be eaten at all. I asked to check out at 12:00 on the 28th, and the lunch did not start until 1:30 pm. The hotel ignored it. Although Ctrip refunded part of the fee, the entire itinerary plan was ruined and the fee was not consistent.

Royal solaris is a good option if you want just a resort experience but its little far from the main hotel zone.
