We wiggled our way through the low lit tight alleys to find our oasis. After finding that we were at sister riad and spa (and have the micky taken out of me, sharing a laugh) we were guided to the next door where the banter continued. Once inside we were treated to Moroccan mint tea and a tourist map. Our host explained the best areas to see and how to get to them. Once done he showed us our accommodation, ground floor looking out across the courtyard. He then walked me up to a restaurant to make a booking for me. Mimoud was the most wonderful host from start to finish. Even taking us to our taxi at the end of our trip. A true gentleman. Sofian looked after us (I hope I’m correct with your name) with a great breakfast every morning. How he traverses the stairs to the roof with a full tray and can still be happy to see you is beyond me lol. Our towels were changed daily and room tided, it didn’t need to be but like everything the service was amazing. Fantastic. I will always recommend this fantastic riad. To all the staff, you are a joy that sells Marrakesh.

Tucked away in a narrow pedestrian alley, this riad requires a bit of determination - or a sherpa - if you’re travelling with heavy luggage. There’s no lift, either, so prepare your calves for their own spiritual journey. The entrance hall is undeniably charming, all that classic riad atmosphere, though the tiny central pool feels more decorative than delightful. Have breakfast indoors and you’ll quickly discover that every inch of space is a precious commodity. Our room, on the second floor, had a miniature window opening onto the courtyard - charming in theory, but offering absolutely no privacy in practice. The room itself was spacious, with two beds and the usual Moroccan mattresses (firm enough to remind you you’re alive). The real gem was the bathroom: large, elegant, with a walk-in shower and those beautiful pearly tiles that make you momentarily forgive everything else. The rooftop terrace on the third floor was a welcome refuge. Staff were kind and eager, if not exactly synchronized. We were a large group, and our late-night arrival seemed to plunge the three young men on duty into an extended state of gentle panic - a mood that lingered throughout our stay. Still, the location is spot-on for exploring the main square and the Koutoubia… provided your legs are in good working order.

18:46 • 4G 80 Profile After a little setback my mom ended up on this trip with me. My first impression was feeling claustrophobic when i saw the narrow dark alley to the Riad, but I got comfortable afterwards. Riad is cozy and room gets cleaned everyday! My breakfast was included and it was simple yet tasty. Nice pool in the middle of Riad to chill in in the evening. Rooms are Tiny but you only need it to sleep!aircon works fine. Staff: amazing & welcoming they will do anything to make you comfortable and feel at home. Mimoun welcomed me showed me around explained me how to get around by getting me a map. I have no sense of direction so it wasn't useful anyway l Soufiyan is such a sweetheart he treated me and mom like family. Introduced us with his homemade Za'atar tea. On our last day we were looked after by Aziz and he was so kind and attentive. Thanks to Wajdan for making sure our room was nice ans tidy every single day! I would suggest one thing and that is a water cooler by the pool where you could go and have a glass of water as its really hot and due to warm weather water doesnt stay cold in the rooms. I was very oprehensive about coming to Morocco with only my mom because so many people told me if wasnt safe, but as long as you behave and respect the country the people and the culture you will be just fine. They have some cute cats that visit all the time and few sparrows and they are so kind to them I might come back soon!!!

Excellent service. Very comfortable. Wish I could have stayed longer. The staff went out of their way to ensure I go to see the main tourist sites and didn’t get lost in the souks. The bedroom was very comfortable. Excellent WiFi even on roof terrace. Lovely breakfast.

I had such a fantastic time staying at Riad La Croix Berbère! Before I even arrived, I emailed to ask about an early check-in, and they replied super quickly. When I got there, they greeted me with tea and let me relax while they handled the check-in. They also took the time to explain the neighbourhood, which was so helpful. The location was absolutely ideal – right in the centre and easy to walk everywhere. It made getting around Marrakech a breeze. My room was spotless every day, and the bed was so comfy – exactly what I needed after a long day exploring. Breakfast every morning was delicious and served with such a friendly smile. It really set me up for the day. I also treated myself to the hammam while I was there, and it was incredible – such a relaxing experience and amazing value too. One day, I mentioned I wanted to pick up some spices, and Mimoun kindly walked me to a shop he trusted. Such a thoughtful gesture! Every single day, Soufiane and Mimoun went out of their way to make sure I had the best experience. Their kindness and attention to detail really made my trip special. This riad is a gem – it’s beautiful, the staff are wonderful, and it’s brilliant value for money. I’m already planning my next trip to Marrakech, and I wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else!

‏"I had the worst experience in Morocco with them. Suddenly, the AC turned off, and when I called them, they literally said, 'It's not our issue.' I stayed without AC from 5 AM until checkout at 12 PM. I asked for a late checkout, but they refused. Very rude."

Worst hotel experience ever! We are staying here for 2 days we have problems during 2 days. They are closing exit door of the hotel. When we asked them how we can come and go back, they said ‘one person will be at lobby 24 hours and he will open the door for you’. But yesterday night we can’t go outside from the hotel because anybody locked the main door of the hotel and he went! Nobody can go out of the hotel during 25 minutes! And tonight when we came back to hotel, we couldn’t enter to hotel because the door was locked again and nobody was at the lobby! We had to wait for 20 minutes to enter. He had locked the door and went to somewhere! Worst hotel experince for us!

Lovely Riad 5mins from the main square. Excellent customer service, friendly staff and lovely rooms. Definitely recommend for a short stay and good base to start off your visit in Marrakech. Good choice restaurant, bar and cafes. Souks are within walking distance

We had a very good stay at the riad which had just reopened after the earthquake. The place is pleasant, quiet, the decoration is very pretty, the breakfast delicious. The team is wonderful, thank you Sofiane, Yassine and Aziz for welcoming us and taking care of us, you did everything you could to make our stay pleasant. Nassima and Hamou

Came here for drinks and some hookah. Nice happy hour prices. Good hookah. Just not so great service

What a great vibe this place has! Three stories and each story has its own unique feel to it. I can’t speak of the food because I only had tea and wine, but this is most definitely one of my favorite places in Marrakech. Aside from the incredible decor, the music and service are phenomenal! If Anas is your server, be sure to strike up a conversation with him. He is very sweet and remembered who I was every time I came back which is always so nice in a foreign place. Oh, and did I mention 2 for 1 happy hour drinks at every hour?! Wine not? ;)

Nice trendy bar, serves alcohol (!) at a reasonable price (65dh for two 330ml bottles of beer on the "happy hour" - which is all the time. Can't be shared.) Staff are nice enough.

It would have been 5 stars if they didn't refuse to let us in because they don't serve Moroccans... Twice in different times. I only wanted to go there again because the first time was with a group of foreigners and not sure if they forgot about me or something but I really liked it there, 360 view, great atmosphere, nice drinks/prices, good service,... If you're not moroccan, Go!

Food was tasty, 360° view was awesome, decor/ambiance was nice, and alcohol is available (hard to find in Marrakech), but prices were a bit high for the area.

Good: The location is great. You can sit on the balcony and enjoy the sun and the view of the mountains.
They offer good food with fair prices. WiFi is available and you can pay by card. We liked the music as well.
Not so good: you may have to wait to get a place to sit. The place is almost always full.

This place is great - the food and service are impeccable. This our second visit to Marrakech and our second visit to Cafe des Epices!
Everyone rushes up the stairs to sit on the roof terrace (which is nice) but you want to sit on the first floor with the large windows overlooking the mini square. It's nice and cool and you still get the view. PLUS the interior fit out is awesome

Awesome atmosphere. Loved the food, drinks, entertainment and service. If and when I visit Marrakech, Morocco again I will definitely go back to this restaurant.

They don't know how to make classic cocktails... Daiquiri I had was terrible. Tasted like a schweppes lemon. And the prices are outrageous.

Good place to have a drink. They do a dinner and show. We only went for a drink.
friendly staff prices were reasonable.
23.10.2017 Mitch
They sold me fake Jack Daniels for 100 MAD per 30 ml. They have bottle and label but not the juice. Saw same ripoff in Cairo.

A must. Very unique place.
