Sol Cala D'Or Apartments in Cala d'Or

We recently stayed at the Sol Cala d'Or Apartamentos for our honeymoon and had such a lovely experience from start to finish.
The special touch of a bottle of wine and sweets left in our room on arrival made us feel so welcome and really set the tone for our stay. The location is perfect, everything is within walking distance, especially Cala Gran beach, which was ideal for relaxing days by the sea. The hotel itself had a very calm and relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. The communal areas were always spotless, and we noticed the cleaners out every morning keeping everything immaculate. Our apartment was also freshened up every second day, which we really appreciated.The pool area was excellent, with a lifeguard present all day during pool opening hours, giving an extra sense of safety and professionalism. The pool bar was another highlight, the prices were extremely reasonable and the service was always quick and friendly.
Overall, the staff were amazing and made our honeymoon feel extra special. We would happily return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Cala d'Or.

We had a really lovely time. This was our second time staying here and it was just as we remembered. The staff are so friendly! our holiday didn’t have the best start after losing our spending money in the taxi. We never found the money but Luis and Noella at reception were AMAZING they did everything they could to try and help us locate the taxi, unfortunately we weren’t lucky but they did all they could and for that we are really appreciative. So thank you so much and we will definitely come again.

Really excellent experience from start to end 😁 staff were lovely , very attentive and even did me a bday cake tray (without being asked , they must of seen on my passport which I thought was really sweet!). Rooms were cleaned to a good standard and beds changed every few days. AC was excellent which was great as it was SO hot the week we stayed. Couldn’t fault the hotel at all. Pool was lovely , well maintained and a good size with lots of beds. Finally, great location - short walk from the main centre but also lots to eat and drink near by. Short walk to the beach so really couldn’t ask for more. Great stay and would 100% recommend and return. Muchas gracias! ☀️🇪🇸

Just come back from our holiday at Sol Cala d’or Overall, we had a lovely time, We stayed in the ground floor apartment. It was very clean staff were pleasant, and we stayed bed & breakfast the breakfast was nice had plenty of choice. The room was ok for 3 people, I would say it would be a squeeze with more than 3. We did have a few issues in the room one being the constant sound of drainage from a drain pipe above our heads in the bedroom. I will attach a video listen closely. This didn’t seem to bother my husband, but if your sensitive to sound when you’re trying to sleep, I’d say get some earplugs. Our shower had a problem with the fitting, so the shower was constantly spraying out past the glass & would soak the floor. Cleaning was every two days, however we always seem to get them right at the end of the day so when we would return to our room, the cleaning was still not done. I’d say that came to the room about 4:30 & Cleaning is finished by 5, We would run out of towels before then, they did Clean very well once they were there. It was so nice having the pool view & also being able to walk straight out from the apartment to the sun-beds & pool. We didn’t have problems getting sunbeds but then again we were there at the beginning of September, don’t know what it would be like in the in the busy season.

Another fabulous visit to Sol Cala D'or. Requested a low floor room due to my mobility and we were given an accessible room just off the pool. It was great for us as a family with two teenagers as it was really big, compared to the room last year. It had a door that opened up to get to the pool and a door the other side to a terrace overlooking the gardens which was lovely and peaceful. The hotel is spotless. All the staff work really hard and treat you like old friends. We had a lovely gift left for us for returning. We are super sad that we can't return as a family as our children have now got too old for us to share one room. The pool is wonderful. Yes like everywhere there are people who are selfish with the sunbeds, Im not sure how anywhere solves this, but we were able to get them when we wanted. We don't spend our whole holiday around the pool anyway as there's too much to see in this beautiful resort. If you are thinking about booking, do it. You honestly won't regret it. Family friendly, clean, quiet and hard working staff. What more do you need.

Stayed at this hotel August 2025 for a week with my mum and sister we went self catering. Room was a good size big double very comfy and a sofa bed which pulls another single bed out underneath, and kitchen. Rooms were cleaned every 2 days. Main entrance and breakfast restaurant was modern. There is a snack bar which makes fresh pizzas and other food and good prices on drinks at the pool bar. Sunbeds were taken early and busy time of year being August. Reception was very welcoming upon arrival. The beaches were very close by there were two beaches 7 minute walk either side. Around a 10 minute walk to the square with plenty of restaurants and a few bars. Highly recommend the star fish boat trip in Cala d’or the dolphins were amazing.

Had a lovely stay from 25th July to 4th of August with my family. The main positive points are: Clean apartments Clean and modern reception and breakfast room Central Location - Just 8 minuets walk to Cala Gran Beach and 10 minutes walk to the town centre (at a stroll). Happy and Helpful Staff. Negatives: (please bear in mind I'm being honest and picky) No Pool Loungers - if you like to get up and 6am to put towels out by the pool this is for you. I'm not a big pool lover but it was an issue as even if the towels were our at 6am they were still there by 1pm - a little selfish and if I was the management, it would be 1 hour no return policy and the reserve would be removed! Other than that, was a love experience and our apartment 813 was perfect!
