We were apprehensive about staying here based on previous reviews however, we found this hotel to be sufficient for our needs. The staff were extremely hard working happy and friendly. The rooms, although a little worn were fine for a three star hotel. They were large enough with a balcony and sea view. The room was cleaned three out of five nights to a good standard, with beds changed, towels replaced and floors and surfaces cleaned. The pool area and other communal areas were cleaned to a high standard. There was a wide variety of foods available and I personal enjoyed everything I ate. The location of the hotel is great. Right near the shops and restaurants and a few minutes walk to the beach. There was some noise in the evenings from the bar downstairs as we were directly above however, this finished around 11:30pm and with the balcony door closed, it was fine. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Thank you for your hard work and making us feel welcome.

Had a lovely stay at blue sea. We stayed for 5 nights and loved it. After seeing some harsh reviews we were initially worried. Rooms were clean, some TLC needed on walls and bathroom. Pool area spotless and cleaned everyday. Sun beds slightly uncomfortable however. All inclusive had a variety of drinks, you pay €1 for the cup which you can get back at the end of your holiday when you return the cup. We thought this was a great deal, and it helped keep glasses from being around the pool. We loved the food, wide selection with plenty to choose from, meat options, fish options, vegetarian. Could cater more for gluten free and vegan, however there was lactose free milk at breakfast every morning. Entertainment was great for us on an evening, especially if you don’t want to leave the hotel. This is a 3* hotel, you get what you pay for and more. We had an excellent stay at Blue Sea and we definitely will be back.

Location was fantastic less than 10 min walk to beach. Room large and clean. Food there was a limited selection but of good quality and different every night. Drinks available were great and most of the staff were great. Would stay again.

Blue sea hotel was ideally situated . Clean and friendly . Food good . The only negative i would give is the lack of sun beds . There is a terrace by the pool with table and chairs which no one used . Would be better to fit more sun beds here . We were in block 3 and if the pool bar was closed we had to go to block 1 for drinks . Not a real issue though . Would i stay there again . Yes most definite.

Myself and my friend were hugely disappointed with our stay here. Firstly, our room was not at all to standard we were put in a room with a Broken lock so we were given a new room, this new room had broken plug sockets taped together which is a huge safety hazard (picture attached), a toilet that barely flushed and lots of ants were coming into our room. There is nowhere near enough space to accommodate the amount of guests at the hotel. We could not sit by the pool at all over our 4 day stay as there was not enough sun beds or even a seat by the bar available to sit on so we had to go to the beach every day instead as we physically couldn’t fit at the hotel. The lack of space was again apparent in the dining area as we had to wait to get a table to eat dinner on an evening. The food was terrible with a massive lack of variety (wouldn’t recommend if you are vegetarian as there is mainly only meat or sea food on offer not even much in the way of salads either). I am not by any means a fussy eater but the food was so bland and unappetising that we decided to eat out on a couple of occasions so we could at least have an enjoyable meal whilst on holiday. This is despite paying to be all inclusive. The meaning of all inclusive is not what it would appear to be, on arrival you will need to pay for a cup for your drinks and return it for a refill (however be aware they do not always give you a clean cup even if you’re having a different drink from your last). You will not be able to sit at one of the main bar areas of an evening without getting kicked out unless you are paying for a drink there ( I understand there are other drinks they sell which are not part of all inclusive range but to not be able sit in a particular area because you haven’t bought a drink in your own hotel is absurd!). I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, if anything I feel gutted I had wasted my money on such a terrible hotel. Only positives I can give to the hotel is the location is perfect as your right by the promenade and extremely close the beach.

Lovely hotel. Very near the beach, promenade with all the shops, bars and restaurants. Delicately food. Would definitely recommend. For the price you pay you get great value.

This was our fourth year here and as always it was amazing. All the staff are friendly and helpful, and work so hard from the housekeepers to the waiters to the barstaff. This year we could see the pool and beach from our room which was lovely In particular the two young bartenders who seemed to always do the evening pool bar shift were very friendly and remembered my drink order which was nice. Sergio was also over one afternoon covering and remembered it from previous years which I wasn't expecting! Some reviews say the staff aren't friendly but in my experience this is not the case. Even the lifeguard was friendly and Elena was lovely as always. We will definitely be back next year for more fanta lemon and vodkas and no water polo

Just come back from a lovely 5 nights away. The hotel is in a great location being only a short walk from the beach and very close to the restaurants and bars. So that is a major bonus. And the beach is beautiful but definitely get down there early for sunbeds (which were €14.75 for 2 for the day). The hotel has 2 pools. Didn't go to the smaller pool but the main pool isn't massive but there generally was enough sunbeds for those who wanted them which worked well. The pool itself was a good temperature and the area definitely collects plenty of sunlight through the day and stays in the sun late. The bar is open from 10am until 11pm around the pool and the drinks were pretty good for an all inclusive. Queues usually were alright most of the time but you just checked out and got up when it was less busy. The bar guys worked really hard all day. We didn't use the saloon bar. There were some entertainment around the main pool such as darts, water polo and aqua gym which were fun and the entertainment guy was a nice guy. Gave a bit of extra atmosphere around the pool and few days. The food was alright. Wasn't the best but there was always plenty of choice and it was regularly topped up so it was ok. Worth eating out a few times for dinner though. Those working in the dining room worked hard and were a bit rushed off their feet at busy times to clear tables which did leave a feeling of not enough tables for people at the hotel. Our room was in block 4 by the pool so very convenient. Room was basic and fairly small. The lack of a mini fridge was a shame but overall it worked fine for the 2 of us. I am sure the rooms in blocks 1 and 2 were nicer looking at the balconies. But overall it did what it needed to do and we were out most of the time anyways. At check out there is a great locker storage system and the front desk will give you a key and towel for the shower room which I thought was very good and worked a treat. Lockers were €4/8 for 4/8 hours. Overall i think the hotel was certainly better than expected after reading some reviews. Could it be better... of course but it is a 3* and I think it does a really good job for the standard and the comparative money spent. Would recommend if on a budget for sure. Oh and as a tip go to Wakiki bar as they do great cocktails and it is a fun evening especially when they have the live music on!

Absolutely perfect location & the rooms are clean, spacious & well stocked with towels & loo rolls. If you're a drinker, the measures & selection of drinks, including cocktails are 10/10.. But if you like food then this is not the place for you. Although they respond with "We do not claim to be a gourmet dining establishment" Even so, the food is absolutely abysmal. We were all-inclusive but chose to dine out for most meals and we really are not fussy eaters. One night we were served duck, It was more like muck!! It was allegedly duck in sauce but the sauce was more like dirty dish water. The soups were passable most nights but nothing special. I'll include a picture of the "breaded chicken" and the so called duck. It's really a shame because the hotel itself is lovely. Staff are great & location is perfect. If the menu had a complete overhaul & improved on a massive scale we would return. But with the current dining choices I'm afraid we won't be back!!
