Hostal Blanca in Can Picafort

There was mold in both the bathroom and under the sink in the sleeping area of our room. We could already smell it upon entering, so we immediately reported the issue to the staff and requested a room change. It took four days just for them to show us a single alternative option.

When we first raised the issue with a service desk employee named Lenka, she didn't take it seriously and tried to gaslight us into believing the mold was normal and not a problem. This was very unprofessional, especially since she later admitted that the hotel does have a mold issue. After some discussion, she offered us a room change but charged a €20 cleaning fee. In my opinion, a good hotel would have handled this process more professionally and, as a gesture of goodwill and service, would not have charged such a fee as mold should not be the guest’s problem to deal with.

Overall, the service was horrible. The housekeeping staff were very impolite and rarely showed up (only once every three days). When they did, we ended up cleaning the room ourselves and handing them our trash and used towels.

The Airconditioner and the locked were not working. We stayed there 4 nights and the staff said they would repair it but nothing moved for 4 days. The shower area is very small and you can barely move to take a shower. Wouldn’t recommend the property. Specially after paying through the nose
