The location is good rooms are basic but clean. This hotel is advertised as 5 star. We have been here a few times and only thing thats changed is new sun loungers and from 4 star to 5 star. Definately not 5. The first room we was given had one plug socket which we couldnt reach and no balcony. The food was same choice every day although the food was nice. Before when we stayed they used to mix it up every other day. The bar staff were polite and friendly. When we asked why pool bar wasnt open which it as been on previous trips told it was shut for good. Also roof top bar not open even though weather was lovely. Reception staff rude. Went to report concerns over the safety of floor round pool. Got told to go away as they were busy booking a group of people in and would get someone to look at it. The 4 days we were there it didnt get looked at.

The hotel was unsanitary and very dirty. The electrical outlet in the room didn't work. Furthermore, the cleanliness left much to be desired. We will never return to this hotel.

Firstly this is not a 4 star hotel We arrived early and couldn’t check in while 3pm we wasn’t given our wrist bands while 3pm either so we had to go out and get lunch. When we did check in we was given a terrible room with no balcony just a window there wasn’t a mirror either only in the bathroom, the only plug in the room was above height which we couldn’t reach it was right up near the aircon, after complaining at the reception they did give us another room which was more adequate. Queues are horrendous at the bar and the pool bar was was closed all of the 4 nights we was there, they also advertise a roof top bar which also wasn’t open the duration of our holiday, The decking round the pool area is unsafe very bouncy and some slats are broke. There’s not enough sun lounges round the pool area, for the size of the hotel, there is another pool round the back but no bar near it at all. Some of the staff are very rude in reception I went to tell them about some broken decking which was dangerous I didn’t want someone to get hurt, and because they was all checking people in they said to come back later as they was busy, even tho I shown them some photos of this. Staff behind bar are nice and friendly and there’s a security man what’s around the hotel he’s all polite and friendly. Food in the restaurants is repetitive. No entertainment round pool but last twice we came there was, there is no entertainment in the bar at night just dancing every single day. This is my 3rd visit to Don Juan and this has to be the worst visit. we won’t come back here again we will look for a different hotel. The maid came and tidied and took away our dirty towels but didn’t replace them. The hotel is mainly Spanish and French there wasnt no English.

Firstly, the hotel had a Good location, friendly staff and good food. Disappointing that the snack bar was closed during our stay and all inclusive drinks was limited and only until 10:30, hot drinks were also limited to morning times. Entertainment was lacklustre and mainly for an older audience. The hotel rooms were basic but were cleaned daily. Overall an ok stay, but you could get better for the price.

My stay at this hotel was, without exaggeration, the worst and most degrading experience I have ever had in hundreds of hotels, ranging from 2 to 5 stars. The property dares to present itself as a 4-star hotel, but in reality, it does not even meet the most basic standards of a 1-star establishment. At best, it is a collapsing building pretending to be a hotel. ⸻ Check-in and reception From the first moment, chaos reigned. Every day, several buses unloaded hundreds — sometimes thousands — of guests at once, overwhelming the tiny, outdated reception area. The check-in process was absolute bedlam: endless queues, no system, no staff control, and absolutely no designated space to store luggage. The reception area became so crowded that moving through it was like fighting your way out of a packed metro station at rush hour. To make matters worse, there was not a single comfortable waiting area. No sofas, no chairs, not even a corner to sit down. Guests stood around with their suitcases piled in mountains, sweating in confusion, trapped in a suffocating environment. The atmosphere was one of immediate stress, disorganization, and total neglect. ⸻ Facilities and general conditions The entire property is crumbling. The hotel reeks of mold in every corridor and bedroom, the furniture is falling apart, and the décor is so outdated it could be in a museum of bad taste. The walls of the bedrooms were cracked, chipped, and full of holes, giving the impression that the building is on the verge of collapse. Soundproofing does not exist: every cough, every shout, every slammed door echoes mercilessly through the walls. Rest was impossible. The electricity was unstable to the point of danger — plugging in a simple phone charger caused power cuts. The outdoor pool was not just dirty, but disgusting beyond words: floating half-eaten apples, soggy plasters, and dead insects turned the water into a biological hazard. Only about 30 sunbeds existed for thousands of guests, most broken and unusable, and not a single parasol for shade. Guests were forced to roast for hours in direct sunlight, or to sit on the filthy ground. The pool deck itself was dangerous, with lifted planks of wood that could easily cause injuries. The so-called indoor pool? Closed for the entire duration of the stay. The “rooftop bar” promised in the brochure? Locked, inaccessible, and no explanation given. When it rained, water poured inside the building, flooding corridors and common areas. It felt less like a hotel and more like a sinking ship. ⸻ Rooms The rooms were a nightmare: claustrophobic, suffocatingly small, and with zero charm. There was no balcony, no terrace, and no view — only cracked walls and a window facing another wall. The sheets were stained, the towels supposedly “cleaned” were still dirty, and the only toiletries provided were two pathetic slivers of soap. There was no minibar or mini-fridge — a basic amenity in any proper hotel. The bathroom was a hazard: no s

The food was great but the service was very poor, on most days we were left with not enough towels, and there was a lack of security enforcement around the hotel. We did not get a single restful night due to young people in the rooms around us bringing in substances such as alcohol and partying on their balconies and playing loud music on speakers, this was not stopped for hours into the night. There also was a lack of activities available therefore we were almost never at the hotel. The decoration seemed outdated and there was a lack of utilities in the room e.g fridge.

HOTEL FROM HELL! HOOLIGANISM AT ITS FINEST!! BOOM BOX CITY! Be prepared for checking queue to be no less than 45 minutes. Approximately 90% of the guest were yobs/hooligans who arrived by the coach load. Called security first night as kids played “which door can we kick the hardest and longest. Flooring - wooden planks move as you walk along them. Bath was rusty and flaking, door was water damaged. Bedroom half painted. Outside chairs need throwing away - room next door climbed or reached over our balcony and took one of our chairs. Sleep - you aren’t getting any. Hotel staff generally polite,. Didn’t interact with guest (only spoke when asked a question)), most likely didn’t want to deal with complaints. Holes in decking around pool - one appeared 3 days before we left and still there when we did leave. Yobs ran about in the courtyard all night long, yelling and playing music. Privatel organised parties (lasted all weekend) took over the whole of one end of outside area, and once their dance sessions were over the pool basically became theirs. Best part of this holiday……delaerture

The hotel was advertised as 4* but it definitely was not, we had to pay an additional €300 to have a family room as the standard rooms were surrounded by young, rude children running around knocking on doors and playing loud music, along with spitting over the balcony. They have a roof top bar, which is brilliant and Joel who runs that bar is the most kind and friendly member of staff but unfortunately it doesn’t open on the days advertised. Which should be Thursday-Sunday it was only open twice whilst we were there, which was the first Saturday and following Friday and they were the best 2 nights out of 10. The main bar is a nightmare with kids running wild that 1 of the coaches got pushed in the pool one night and snapped his arm so badly the ambulance had to come. They advertise non-alcoholic cocktails which my kids wanted but don’t actually sell them. The family pool is over run by the groups of kids that are unsupervised so younger kids cannot use it or they will be at risk of injury as they was hitting each other and trying to drown each other. When we were able to use the pool it was so dirty it was like they’ve never cleaned it! They don’t even have umbrellas to protect kids from the sun so we had to buy 1 and the sun loungers are flat plastic but the other pool that is unsuitable for families has sun loungers that are comfortable. The main pool near the bar is over ran with 18-30s and they were throwing chairs in the pool. The security just stands watching the lifts near reception which is pointless as the groups can then just act like wild animals. We had breakfast included in our price but we didn’t eat there because it was so disorganised and the food hot food was cold, so we then had to pay more money to eat out for breakfast. This hotel should not be advertised for families as it is more of a hostel for school kids to run wild. The staff were helpful and polite but the maids wouldn’t make the sofa bed for my daughter and we had to do this ourselves and never provided enough towels so we just kept asking. We also had to pay €200 to park the hire car in the hotel car park, if this was advertised on love holidays we wouldn’t of got a car. You can see the staff are fed up with the groups of kids and it could be a nice place if they stopped the football kids but still not 4* Our experience wasn’t as bad because the family rooms are out of the way.

I came to the reception to ask if my room was available because I was told that sometimes the rooms get cleaned and ready before 15h, in fact I saw some people getting their rooms. I asked politely Tetiana and she didn’t even respond but showed me with blank face and rude gesture on time, meaning 15h, as if I’m stupid, when I asked again she repeated. Both her and Nandy didn’t want to give me the name of the manager, I’m so disappointed and would never recommend this hotel with this RUDE stuff, in fact I’ll probably post about all this on my social medias so people don’t get scammed like I did. Hopefully the manager will reach out to me and I’ll get at least an apology

Staff at reception and cleaning staff were very polite and not aggressive so that's 5 stars for service. Our shower drain wasn't working properly, the water was flooding, so we left a note while we were away and they fixed it.

Rooms were difficult to find at first. But the restaurant and reception are very easy to locate thanks to pointers and signs with arrows on the floor.

I haven't tried the pool, it was crowded most of the time.
