Traveling as 2 families with a toddler each with dietary restrictions, I booked 2 rooms with photos of rooms clearly showing pictures of kitchenettes present in it. Paid a high price only to enter into a nothing room. Not even basic amenities. Even when asked politely, you get the reception guy responding arrogantly to take it or leave. Worst experience with kids. Parking lot is something crazy of its own. Open swimming pool in the building next to the hotel. Closed pool & Sauna are paid even after paying such high prices for the rooms. Only good thing was the breakfast and a welcoming chef who is happy to accommodate any special dietary requests.
Absolutely bad and best advise is to avoid booking this place, especially if you're travelling with family/kids.
One negative aspect is that when we arrived at the hotel by car, the parking spaces on-site were limited. We had to leave the car on the street while my wife went inside to clarify where the hotel’s reserved parking was, only to be told that we had to complete the check-in process first before we could park. The parking is located in the building next to the hotel, which is quite inconvenient if you have a lot of luggage, especially with the sloped streets.
The atmosphere felt rather unfriendly — the staff, much like in the rest of the Catalonia region, were quite stiff and did not make us feel welcome. Overall, it’s definitely not a hotel where I would choose to stay a second time.
First he hang up the phone on me, because I asked information about the prices that instantly changed.
I called again, but he didn’t pick up.
25 min later we see the hotel pop up cheaper again at booking.com. We didn’t trust it, so we went to the hotel, it was a 6 min drive away.
The man was telling us that we have to give him €400 deposit.
We said that it doesn’t matter how much the deposit is, but we asked if he can just show us the rules about the deposit.
The man was immediately aggressive and shouting that he just a security member and not of the reception. And he doesn’t know where we must read it and we are not getting any room, while waving his hand to use toward the door. Because of his aggressive behavior, I decided to record everything on my phone.
I calmed him down by asking why a person can’t ask anything and that it’s not crazy that a person wants to know the rules about the deposit.
It was a very weird unprofessional strange conversation.
We almost decided to stay, but I told my partner that I find him very aggressive and that it doesn’t feel good. We decided not to stay.
I’m not going to use these recordings, but if someone is interested in the aggressive behavior, I can forward them.
O yeah and by the way, the hotel doesn’t look like the pictures at all and that was only the reception. Let alone the rooms.
Excellent buffet breakfast included.
Nice little Spa that you book by the hour, hammam, sauna, hydromassage shower, gym machines, hot tub and pretty little pool.
We stayed in one of the suites at Hotel Acacias which are enourmous. They're more like apartments and include everything you need to feel relaxed. Our suite had an enourmous balcony, massive windows, a kitchen, an extra bedroom and en-suite bathroom, plus a room with our own treadmill.
I don't think either of us have ever felt so relaxed. A great small hotel that I'd recommend to everyone.
