Aparthotel Costa Encantada in Lloret de Mar

Fantastic experience. Family friendly hotel. First time travelling with my four children as a single mum. The resort was perfect for families. My kids played in the indoor and outdoor pools all day long and although disco was around 8pm, they were too tired to take part. Breakfast was a fantastic mix of sweet, savoury and fruits. I could’ve upgraded to fully inclusive, but I had already stocked on ready meals. The self catering set up was great. There was an oven, microwave, kettle and fridge, cutlery etc.
There was a spa on site but I didn’t get a chance to use. But I saw people leaving looking happy.
The resort was clean, staff very friendly and always happy to help. The resort smelt wonderful. It was beautifully situated 10 minutes from the beach and 3 minutes from supermarket. Would definitely recommend.

Spent 7 days here and was very impressed. Pool is cold in October as thought. But great splash park! Well worth it.
Kids club is amazing, all day long, with numerous activities.
All in all a fantastic hotel.

Family holiday in October half term, all inclusive.
We had a great time and would certainly consider returning. The food was varied and quality was from ok to very good. Our room had comfortable beds/sofa beds for everyone. Bar service was generally good, a little slow just before dinner. The staff at the hotel were fantastic. Location is about 15 mins walk outside of the main town so a little quieter, which we preferred.

We are a family of five, just back from our fourth consecutive visit to Costa Encantada.

We don’t normally write reviews, but after seeing some of the more negative comments recently, we felt compelled to share our own experience.

Over the past four years, we have consistently found the Costa Encantada to be a beautiful, clean and very friendly family hotel.

The All Inclusive package works brilliantly for us, especially with three children who love being able to help themselves to hot snacks, ice creams and drinks (such as milkshakes and ice slushies) throughout the day.

The food is excellent – fresh, varied and something for everyone.
Highlights for us this week included:

- Freshly made omelettes at breakfast daily (we love “omelette man!”)

- BBQ pork ribs at Monday lunch

- Steak and onion rings at Monday dinner

- Fresh pizza daily

The hotel is also in a great location: only 20 minutes by private transfer from Girona airport, a 10-minute stroll to Fenals beach and local shops and around 20 minutes to the centre of Lloret de Mar with its main beach and attractions.

The staff are consistently professional, approachable and polite and the rooms are kept spotless with daily cleaning. Over the years, we’ve stayed in all three blocks and would happily return to any of them. This year we tried one of the new suites and really enjoyed the modern feel, though we did miss waking up to a pool view and sunrise. We look forward to seeing the other blocks renovated to the same standard as the suites.

The facilities are also a huge plus: our children love the outdoor pool and splash area. There’s also a spa, sports courts and plenty of space to relax, which makes it easy for all ages to enjoy themselves.

A couple of small suggestions we’d love to see in the future:
Marmalade at breakfast (missing for the first time this year).
Burger buns from the poolside buffet bar also made available upstairs when burgers are on the menu.

Overall, though, these are very minor points in what continues to be a fantastic family holiday destination. Costa Encantada offers everything you could hope for – great food, brilliant facilities, friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere.

We’ve already stayed four times and we’re sure this won’t be our last – it’s the kind of place you come back to again and again!

We really enjoyed our 7 night stay, originally just booked bed and breakfast but upgraded to half board when we got there for really reasonable prices. Excellent facilities, friendly staff and decent buffet food with plenty of options. The room was pretty basic and it’s a bit of a walk from the centre but we knew that when we booked and there are options for newer rooms. Entertainment was a bit lacking but we ventured out on an evening anyway. Would do 10 days next time, possibly all inclusive.

I travel whit my husband and kids rooms is old and we are have problem whit air-conditioning one of my child is autism and no respect on hotel disability persons this make me sick

I stay here for 5 days with my family and we loved everything about the hotel from the security to workers, the hotel is always clean and there is plenty of things to do with the kids, every thing around the hotel is walkable. The food was amazing from breakfast to dinner, what I also really like was the star was available for us no matter what time it is, would definitely visit again with my family

We stayed in this hotel in September for 4 days and we absolutely loved it. The hotel is so beautiful and big with lots of pools, sunbeds so no need to run to get one. It was always kept so clean and my nephew loved the slides. The rooms were very modern and spacious - lovely cleaners made the room look spotless everyday. The location is really good with walking distances to the beach and around 15min walk to the towns center! I would recommend this hotel to everyone, and I will definitely go back again!

We stayed here for 3 nights. We planned for a night then extended it to three nights. Newly renovated suite rooms. We were family of 6 including our 4 children. They gave us an additional coat. The pools both indoor and outdoor were amazing with kids activities. Full board recommended as they served amazing food with wide variety of seafood and serves halal chicken as well.

From the day one the staffs were amazing both reception and restaurant. They always had a smile on their face and said yes to probably everything we requested which speaks volume about their attitude to go beyond to make customers feel at home and happy. Freddy at the front desk and few all the ladies (don’t know the names) were all amazing. We all loved it ❤️

The hotel is super close to the bus station.
We got a room in the new part of the hotel and it was brand new and perfect. It was a pleasure to stay there. The hotel territory is huge and nice. Water slides and swimming pools helped us to make our little one busy all day long
Food was quite good, but we found out that food is better on Friday and weekend. During the week it is a little bit more poor.
In the bar you can order a very limited list of cocktails even for money. Cocktails for all inclusive come from the cocktail machine and taste disgusting
Animation is good. There are always some activities in the mini club, or around the swimming pools. In the evening there are also some entertainment.
The only one thing is that you can’t leave your kid in mini club or any other activity if they less than 6 years old. Which is ridiculous. So if go there with kids from 3 to 6 be ready to entertain them by yourself
In general it is a great place. Maybe we will go there once again. not for the full vacation but for weekend absolutely perfect
