O7 Alea in L'Arenal

Came here with my 13 yr old son(who has additional needs). The hotel is situated 10 min walk from the beach and there are shops including the Spar within 2min walk. There is also a bar/restaurant at the end of the street and further along there are other pizza restaurants, local food. Pharmacy and tobacconist. Aqualand is 10min walk also but there is a free bus. Taxi is around 5 Euro. Staff at the Hotel are brilliant, very friendly. Reception is 24hours and they will call you a taxi if needed to go places. We stayed in a twin room with balcony overlooking the pool and a small forest area. Rooms are sparkling clean, shower over bath, double mirror wardrobe, desk for working(if you want), tv, safe is 3 Euro per day and 5 Euro deposit. Fully air conditioned which is a saviour. ONLY DOWNFALL....there is no fridge or kettle. Breakfast is 10/10, so much choice, the bakery section is amazing. Chefs come out every 15mins to check the food and replace what's needed. The pool is open from 11am to 7pm and is cleaned every morning. Pool area is immaculate, plenty of sunloungers and tables/chairs. Football table and pool table also. Popcorn machine too. Food and drinks at pool bar also very good and reasonably priced, food stops at 3pm. The hotel doesn't cater for dinner but there are plenty of eateries within walking distance and lots of choice. Check in/out smoothly, no fuss. Towels, handsoap and shower wash provided. Lovely touch in reception with freshly cool lemon water provided. Reading nook with books also. Overall a fantastic holiday, perfect for a quiet break by the pool or if you want to explore further. The addition of a fridge and kettle would make this hotel perfect. Please consider this Alea 😁

The staff are lovely, very helpful but their English is very limited. Rooms are ok - very basic but clean. The air con in some of the rooms has been upgraded. The older aircon rooms are hot and in need of a revamp. There is no light on the balcony, so if you’re expecting to read your book outside at night, you cant ! You pay extra for a safe. Pool is small, clean and has a kids pool. My only problem with the pool was that it doesn’t open until 11am & closes at 7pm. The breakfast was good, plenty of choice. Soft drinks at the pool bar are 2.50euro All in all a small, clean hotel but very basic.

Great stay overall! The staff at reception were super friendly. We got a great price for a hotel with a pool, daily breakfast, and a location close to the beach. The breakfast buffet was tasty and had a nice variety. Everything was clean and comfortable – would definitely stay again!

The hotel is located a little outside the centre of Palma (about 20 minutes by taxi). The rooms are functional but a little outdated in their decor. The breakfast, on the other hand, is spectacular: they serve a wide variety of food from sweet to savoury. Staff are very friendly and always happy to help!

Room is so clean, big and we have a see on pool, it is amazing Excellent breakfast, excellent service It is near by see, that is amazing Everything is near and that is the best thing Maybe I would like to be a little bit better wifi, but it is ok To be honest everything is amazing:)

Friendly staff, clean facilities, great experience overall. They welcomed us even slightly earlier than the check-in time and gave us good recommendations for places to visit. Breakfast was enjoyable, though I would not recommend the coffee :)
