Where to stay in Majorca island

We stayed one week at this hotel in October 2025. The room was very small, we had a 3 person room and with the extra bed there was not enough room for the suitcases and with cases on the floor barely enough to walk from the bed to the bathroom. This is a lovely hotel, very spacious and pretty grounds. Pools were beautiful and seemed to have plenty of sun beds although if you get there in the afternoon on a sunny day they are all occupied. The resort layout feels quite spread out, which can make some walking routes a bit inconvenient. For example, on the way out of the resort or to the evening restaurant, you may need to pass through warm, non-air-conditioned conference rooms or take longer routes than expected. Overall, this is beautiful place. I'm glad we got city facing room(but we paid for it 🤭). The rooms are big and spacious, the kitchen has most of the cutlery and pots for cooking. Very suitable for family travel! This hotel is actually a bit like a residential area in China. There are water recreation facilities in each area, suitable for both adults and children. The hotel also has many activities for guests to experience every day~ The layout of the room is also like home, which is super suitable for vacation here!

We have visited this hotel after 6 years, with slightly bigger boys, and our choice didn't disappoint us. We love it and would highly recommend it to any families with kids. Kader was amazing and helpful and supplied us with friendliness, kind attitude to us and our children.

This beautiful place is a quiet retreat where you can relax in the courtyard, swim in the pools, walk in the gardens and enjoy the fairly decent food and drink. I can't find any faults with this hotel given the price we paid for our stay. The cleanliness of our room was impressive, with fresh towels and bedding provided every day. Good hotel for family with kids because there were nonstop events until post 10pm so it’s quite loud and noisy. The bed was not very comfortable-it’s too soft and squeaky and not giving much support for my back. Nice resort Serge at the front desk was very helpful with our checkin. One of our bedsheets had a shoe mark on it and we encontered the same issue with the prevoius resort in Mallorca as well. Other than that everything is fine. Breakfaat is decent with enough choices. Room is spacious only problem waa the mosquitos.

If you are traveling by yourself, the hotel facilities are OK, but it is inconvenient without a car. You must have a car to be convenient. The resort-style hotel has sauna, gym and restaurant.

Confortable It was a good and confortable journey. The buffet was very good. Good access to the parking. The swiming pool was excellent. The only problem was that the room was not available on time (2PM) and we must wait one hour, despite this I reccomend this hotel

We stayed one night before getting ferry from Alcúdia and they gave us a very small room in H block at the furthest point away from main areas. Restaurant in adults only area was good for dinner and breakfast. Have stayed before a few years ago for two nights and experience was completely different room much better.

The food was very good and definitely one of the highlights of the stay. The location is decent, and while the hotel doesn't offer its own parking, I was able to find a spot about a 10-minute walk away. The main downside was the cleanliness, which could have been better. The basic room has 2 single beds joined together, which is not so good. The hotel is located around 10 minutes from the nearest beach, but the road is sloped, so when you come back you have to walk on inclined road. Breakfast is good. I have visited Sol Barbados few years ago and it was much better in term of food and staff. Most if not all staff were rude and not easy to approach especially the bar men as well as the restaurant workers. I wanted to go again so we can have some memories back but unfortunately it wasn’t as expected

Everything was perfect, the food was great. The only downside was that the rooms were a bit noisy due to thin walls, and you could hear everything from the hallways in the rooms. The staff were super nice and attentive.

Great hotel - would definitely return! Some very negative reviews about Sol Kathmandu but it was worth every penny. So much to do, great customer service, good selection of food and drinks, clean and in a central location very close to beach. What more could you ask for?

I really have to give the kids club a 5+ review. The safety is simply top notch adults are not even allowed in the kids club rooms you drop off and pickup at the door. We’ve just returned from 5 night at Sol Katmandu and what a fantastic time we had! Rooms: some say small but I say plenty of room for what we needed (2 adults 2 kids) big comfy beds, great hot shower, no balcony so the tip about brining a little washing line is ideal and a white noise machine if you’re bothered by outside noise. Just returned from this hotel. For what you pay for it is OK value for money. The entertainment staff work hard and are friendly. If want a drink or biscuit from the bar don't expect all the staff to crack a smile as some are a little rude and you wonder why they are in that job. Really nice hotel. Staff are excellent. Breakfast is lovely with plenty of selection. Beds are comfy. And got a good nights sleep. Location is at the top of a small hill. Also this is a complex, so there are several different hotel blocks. You may have a small walk to your block/room. The room was clean, a musty scent when I first arrived, but that was all. The pools were nice and the staff were attentive and friendly. Meals were virtually the same every day, with an array of choices. The area itself was delightful, and even at the end of the season, the weather was lovely. All in all, a lovely time had.

Hotel rooms are nice but require up grading. The room was clean I understand the island has rules regarding alcohol,at hotel you can only have alcohol drinks during meals and only so many per person per day ,I get this, but you can't take your drink outside!! Christmas 2024 We were originally put in a top floor apartment and when I asked if someone could take the cases up for us was told no, so they put us in a ground floor one. Everything about this place is geared around the guest. Staff is attentive, friendly, efficient, and eager to help. The buffet dining area is not your ordinary buffet; it's a masterpiece in presentation and taste and well attended so there are never any empty choices. Excellent location for a short walk to the beach and shops. Rooms are refreshed daily and kept clean and neat. You will not be disappointed...
