Hotels near sea shore in Tenerife

The hotel is located very nicely, near the beach. The food for breakfast, lunch and dinner is all very good with a variety of different foods for different cultures each day. The rooms are decorated nicely and spacious

The pool is very big, one with a slide another with lots of space for swimming

This hotel is perfect for families and people who like activities. The location is perfect,close to shops,beach and airport as well as Siam park. Atmosphere in the hotel is very friendly

Lorenzo,Eline, Francesca, Alessio,Georgia,Nikoletta,Arianna,Laura, Marco,Nico and Alex are brilliant at the animation and also performing amazing night shows. They are very dedicated to what they do

The animation team are always so happy and cheerful while working which makes everyone around them even happier. They work extra hard during the day, while also performing a show every night

There is a kids club for the smaller boys and girls and different activities for adults and older children + teenagers including archery, football, ping pong, water polo and lots more

Enjoyed stay at Los Olivos, staff were very nice, food was good,room was clean. Only let down was room not cleaned. Had to tell them it had not been cleaned after asking for it to be cleaned the previous day

Good quality rooms and balcony. The kitchen area is also helpful with a kettle, iron and toaster. The Skybar is really nice and the infinity pool on the roof is amazing. Highly recommend.

Over all pleased We stayed in a 2 bedroom duplex villa with private plunge pool/jacuzzi. Room was very spacious and overall was clean, decor a pit grubby and could do with a frehenup

Very good food and location The hotel was 3 minutes from the beach which was a big plus. The hotel was good but the sofa bed was not very comfortable, it needs a new mattress

We went on a holiday as a family of 18 and we had the most fantastic time the staff were amazing cannot do enough for you the food was amazing lots of choices and a kids corner with plastic plates bowls and cutlery for them there is a pool baby pool and a splash pad there was one small issue the splash pad had a bridge you could go over I didn’t go over it my niece did and she said it was a bit slippery...

The pool area was clean and tidy, only downside was no inflatables in the pool however they do have different things going on in the pool for the kids to join in on regularly

A fantastic family holiday spent here! We had room 240 which was so spacious, sun loungers on the balcony and a sea view

Food was to a good standard something for everybody at every meal time, pool snack bar handy for the kids

It really is a paradise for children and makes things much less stressful for parents. The pools are very clean and clearly well maintained, which we really appreciated

The service and atmosphere created by all of the staff was second to none but the star of the show was ENZO in all honesty he made our holiday went above and beyond he really deserves some recognition as the effort he makes i'm sure goes above and beyond what is expected

Very clean rooms also very spacious with balcony and a fantastic view. The shower/ bath is brilliant and always hot water running. Roof top pool is a lovely space to go and relax and sunbath if u just want to chill

Rooms were clean & of a decent standard however the mattresses on the bed were very firm & the pillows were thin & very uncomfortable so very difficult to get a good nights sleep!!  Rooftop pool area was good for making the most of the Tenerife weather but again the sun loungers were very out dated & uncomfortable

But the black out electric blinds where the best idea ever. There are signs everywhere about zero tolerance at the pool for parties and glass drinks and that you would be removed from the hotel

Had to pay for the safe and the first card the gave didn't work. Pool towel deposit was 20 euro for one. We could wall to lovely roof top pool via 1 flight of stairs

  Swimming Pool & jacuzzi were basic & did not get cleaned at any time during my 3 night stay

The hotel is in perfect walking distance to the shopping areas and the local restaurants

I am shocked to read some of the negative reviews, for the money you pay to come here it is very good value for money; if you want 5 star then there are plenty of them hotels in the area

Heard a lot of people talking about the brown water, we did experience this on the last night, but this happened to us before in another hotel around the corner

We just left the tap running for a few minutes and it was clear again

We stayed in E block self catering which is the block furthest away from the small shopping centre which hotel is attached too. Only been here 4 nights room very clean and spacious

Dated decor and furniture but that didn’t spoil the stay. Ours was ground floor with very large patio which backed onto the road but apart from the odd coach it was very quiet

Cleanliness and housekeeping are immaculate. Staff very friendly Nice rooftop with pool area to chill Greatly recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The hotel is about 20 min walk from the bus station but is in the town centre next to main shopping area. We choose this hotel because it is 15-minute walk from cruise terminal

The pool on the roof did not work - this was very disappointing. For some reason, there is no toilet brush or hygienic shower in the toilet

Very clean, quiet, and cozy. Good breakfasts, excellent location in the city center. We'll stay here again next time :)

There is not enough parking nearby and it is difficult to drive up in a personal car. We did not use the hotel parking, because we read reviews that it is very narrow

Spacious and modern rooms, comfortable bed, great roof top pool bar and very good location. It's right off the main high street

Loads of different pools and plenty of sunbeds. Kids are in the hotel but you wouldn't notice them as it is very quiet

40 euro per person to use the thermal suite for 90 mins. - Gym looked good in the photos but I was disappointed when I saw it in person. Just a few basic machines and dumbbells that only go up to 22kg

Well sized, powerful showers with multiple jets, amazing bath. Beds are enormous and very comfortable. - Breakfast is the best hotel breakfast I've had. So many options and it is all high quality

I do not get why so many hotel gyms do not have the basics like a squat rack and pull up bar. - We only had the dinner buffet once but it didn't impress us as much as the breakfast

No noisy guests or sounds from bars like other hotels in the more party areas. - Cocktails were great and were reasonably priced. Cons - Spa is an added cost and it is expensive

If you are looking for a more buzzing hotel I would look elsewhere but if you want a peaceful one then this is great. - Hotel is very quiet overall

The garden is a beautiful place, a quite and relaxing spot, even though the swimming pool water has been rather cold. A beautiful view of the volcano Teide quite in the front of the hotel

Positives- Adults only but mostly German guests -Very Clean -basic rooms but nice enough -Staff very good, friendly, speak most languages and attentive. -Pool area nice, good and plenty of beds -Quiet and relaxing

We had a lovely stay at TRH Taoro Garden hotel. The surrounding area, pool, and food were incredible. The beauty of the location is truly breathtaking, looking out from the balcony it feels like paradise

Negatives - hotel is up high, so walking down is fine, 20 minutes to seafront. But you’ll need a taxi back -shuttle bus to town picks up at various hotels so can be full and never on time

My wife and I spent about 2 weeks in the hotel, booked half-board. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Positive: - Nice , large and clean swimming pool

Plenty of beds around so there was no need to get there early to get a sunbed. There were plenty of comfortable sitting areas around the bar. Drinks were reasonably priced and measures were generous

  Location was excellent with plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The highlights during our stay was Bellissimo, which was a restaurant on the hill opposite the bar seating area

And was away from the noise of the road and pavement near the carpark. A secluded but very private area with just a few apartments located along the side

We had a great stay at Ona el Marques. The apartment had everything we needed. Staff were helpful and thoughtful to our needs

  Unfortunately we didn’t book an apartment with a balcony so we didn’t feel we could sit outside to eat and drink as outside our apartment was a walkway.   The pool area was clean with toilets and changing available

Lovely stay - very friendly hardworking staff and very welcoming. Very well equipped rooms and very clean, Pool towels provided. Walk into the centre made easier with back gate access. Lidl and Superdino only yards away

It wasn't entertaining at all and this was one of the main things that sold this hotel for me and my partner. Being adults only one would expect a much better experience and one that was adult orientated

The food is lovely and a great range and the rooms are clean and very nice to be in

Hotel was spotlessly clean but some of the staff arrogant and the entertainment was atrocious. Foam party was one of the worst sights I have ever seen, evening entertainment lasted 1

The room, bedroom and bathroom are generally good, but the air conditioner is blocked by the balcony door and cannot be easily started. After repairs, it still does not work.

Service, is outstanding, the bar staff know your order the first day, and the entertainment team are hilarious and amazing with guests (they might threaten to throw you in the pool tho lol) The location is good, right I'm the center of everything really the only downside is there are a lot of hills but the taxis (usually) are under €5 to get places

Cleaners were amazing come into our rooms every day empty bins making our beds with cute little bows and cleaning the whole room for us and making it neat and tidy. Front desk Staff were always helpful calling us taxis

Despite what some booking websites suggest, the hotel is not quite beachfront: there’s a football pitch between the building and the ocean

The breakfasts and dinners were consistently delicious, with a good variety and great quality, and the Christmas festive dinner was especially memorable — beautifully prepared, warm, and full of holiday atmosphere

This 3-star hotel truly exceeds expectations and offers more than many 4-star properties. From the very beginning, everything was well organized and comfortable

The grill station, in particular, is a standout, largely thanks to the brilliant lady running it, who deserves a special mention. However, this is where the four-star claim starts to wobble a little

The staff throughout the hotel are exceptional, consistently friendly, helpful, and genuinely warm, from reception to the restaurant and the cleaning team

In our two-bed room there was a single plug socket (apparently encouraging digital detox), no fridge, no kettle, and not even complimentary water

The walk from the beach back to the hotel is a bit lengthy to do everyday as it is all uphill and not ideal in the heat, which isn’t very avoidable as that’s where most things are located

Our youngest had her birthday whilst we were there and the staff helped to make it feel special by making a birthday cake and decorating a table for us in the Italian restaurant

But please do not be put off , I couldn’t recommend it more brilliant in every department so pleased with everything no complaints they must of been reviewing a different hotel because I can guarantee it wasn’t the one we stayed in … Thankyou playa real for a wonderful stay

The location is good if you like to walk, but if you have mobility issues, you may find the walk from the hotel down to the main area a little bit much

Don’t know how this hotel has got any bad reviews,a little apprehensive before we came because of them

But, there are lots of options such as taxi's, scooters and mobility scooters for hire

3rd time staying here, some bad reviews about this hotel, but I have never had a bad experience, always been absolutely fine and great value for the money paid, I have not been in high season so my review is based on Jan/Feb last time was Oct/Nov

The sister hotel is across the road and its a lot more expensive, there is a reason for that, you get what you pay for at both hotels. Rooftop swimming pool with great views

There was plenty of varied food , something for everyone at all times. My particular favourite being the hot freshly done Pork Chops. The restaurant staff had the place organised and kept on top of things

As far as food goes you have to remember you are in Spain, if you want English food stay at home. I agree it is not suitable for all inclusive as entertainment in the hotel is non existent

Rooms are dated but clean and tidy, if you have issues speak up, too many wait to complain after they get home, the staff are lovely and friendly and if they can help you they will

I would return to HC Magec without hesitation and would recommend that anyone reading the reviews should experience the hotel for themselves and make their own mind up

I didn’t try the pool because we spent most of our time outside sightseeing. The area around the hotel doesn’t have many restaurants, so it’s not a destination like Los Cristianos

We drove about 10 minutes to the beach, which was great. The hotel is only about 14 minutes by car from the airport, which is convenient, but keep in mind that planes fly directly over the property

Some of the furniture is chipped, the inside of the fridge was cracked, and overall you can see that the place needs renovation. Still, the cleanliness made up for a lot. Breakfast was absolutely perfect

If you spend the whole day at the hotel, the noise might start to bother you. Overall, a clean hotel with excellent breakfast, but not up to true 5-star standards. Definitely will come back in future

The rooms are very spacious and, most importantly, everything is extremely clean — that’s definitely the hotel’s biggest strength. However, the rooms are quite outdated

There was everything from a full English to continental options, various drinks, and plenty of healthy choices. Definitely one of the highlights of the stay

Winter break, quiet resort, local restaurants & supermarkets. Friendly staff. Clean accommodation. Tidy pool & garden areas. Plenty of sunbeds.

Only things that we're included that we found were ice cream and crisps. Pool activities (if you wanted them) were available aswell as outdoor tennis, table tennis, pool & kids room

-archery is sticky pad kids archery -if you want to use the tennis courts you have to pay €9 each time -lots of the kids equipment/toys were broken -the pools may be heated but they are NOT warm! Pros: -great location, quiet but with some fab places to eat and drink within walking distance

The hotel is modern, very clean and tidy, the staff are excellent and plentiful. The apartments are great and have everything u need including washing machine and dishwasher with tabs to use them too

We stayed here for 1 week, there was a storm apparently so was unsure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised with the weather and no rain all week

When we enquired at reception we were told where the linen was in the room and that we were expected to make the bed -shower was either freezing or boiling - staff were often abrupt and rude - the entertainment “schedule” is more of an idea of what might happen

I'm a small person and had difficulty climbing in and out of the bath to shower as it is very high. What I like about the hotel is the comfort, the spaciousness of our room

Rooftop swimming pool and bar super. Although breakfast good evening meals pretty average. Staff in restaurant from top to bottom require serious training in dealing with clients

I understand the hotel has no control over this but a solution would be to install soundproofing of the balcony door. My only other concern is the combined bath and shower

There are also a lot of people passing by having loud conversations and in the morning early deliveries to the hotel happen

The breakfast buffet is excellent and finally the wonderful location and the friendliness of all the hardworking staff

The General Manager also personally took the time to speak to us and ensure that we services met with our expectations. The facilities were wonderful and allowed for some much needed down time

The service was excellent, the facilities very nice. I missed fresh orange juice for breakfast and Serrano ham for dinner, for a 5-star hotel, it's a gem. But overall, it was very good

A perfect holiday at El Mirador. The hotel staff were amazing, in particular, Paula, Patricia and Rita who went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect

Some nice restaurants in the area as well so you don't need to just rely on hotel cuisine

Breakfast was included and had healthy and English or continental breakfast options. Got 5 sunbeds daily and used the pool bar/restaurant for drinks and lunch

The reception had told us they had arranged some food and so we went down to the restaurant to be greeted with a cheerful Hola from the waitress ( don't forget its midnight by now) the food was superb fruit meats cheeses fresh bread seafood all freshly prepared

Fabulous hotel in great location for stroll to beach for pubs and restaurants. It was their hotels 35th anniversary on our arrival and we had a bottle of fizz and biscuit on arrival to celebrate

The staff are friendly and helpful booking taxis and a table booking in next resort. Room is cleaned daily with fresh towels room and pool available too

It is a quieter hotel with no music or big groups of people or children which we gave it a relaxing vibe during the day and then walked along the beachfront for nighttime entertainment

Spa did not have room but sister property did next door which was fantastic. Rent a car if you want to see the island. Some lovely restaurants with great views and good seafood nearby

I had a lovely stay at Club Tarahal. Location is excellent and the staff were kind and helpful. My compliments to Miriam and her colleague at the reception as well as to house keeping, that did an excellent job

I recommend Appartement a bit old but the view was great from the apartment as well as from the pool. Very good reactivity from the reception as well. Could find a parking lot with no issue. I recommend.

I hope they are all well appreciated by management! Some apartments need a makeover of the kitchen. Well equipped! My only buts are the carving knives as well as the size of the bed, only 190 cm long

When we arrived the room first smelt strongly of bleach maybe to disguise the drain smell

I'm still here, but it's a pleasant resort in a pleasant area,reception staff really lovely,nothing too much trouble, the apartment was clean and had all neccesaties, a lovely view and garden topped it off nicely,I've stayed in many places,and I'm NOT disappointed

A bottle of wine on the table was a welcome sight after a long day of travel: amazing balcony, kitchen, bedrooms. And just a 5-minute walk brought us to awesome sidewalk restaurants with 5-star food

We had a large room with a private terrace (with a small table & chairs) and 2 sun loungers that were in the sun all day. We chose to use the main pool and didn’t have a problem getting any sunbeds at 8

The hotel is located very close to the Playa Fañabe beach and strip with plenty of restaurants available near by. The apartment we stayed in was clean and spacious with a well equipped kitchen

The location is also great, with a supermarket next door and plenty of bars and restaurants in front of the hotel and a 5 minute walk down to the beach front

The rooftop terrace was an added bonus which we did not realise we would have. The pool is an excellent size with a lovely poolside bar and restaurant

The property was nice and clean, staff was amazing. Location was central to everything, shops, restaurants and beaches.

Everything else was clean and we had an issue where I had locked us out of the room safe (my fault!). The hotel sent a maintenance man within 10 minutes who fixed it for us
