1st day and 1st impressions are excellent. We informed of late arrival and when we got there they knew who we were and made us welcome. This is a 2 star hotel so dont set your expectations too high . Beds were comfortable but limited pillow comfort. Our room was street side and it is noisy- ask for backside. Hotel Hey is a fantastic place where to stay and/or eat if you are in Peñíscola. The hotel is located in front of the beach, not far from the castle and city centre, the restaurant is great quality and we immediately felt like at home. Usually this would drop a review from 5 to maybe 4 or 3, but the customer service was so excellent I cannot do that. Really good quality apartments kept in really good condition. The welcome pack with tea coffee and water was a bonus as we arrived at night. Specious with everything you might need and walking distance to a large supermarket and the beach. Our particular apartment was on the ground floor and the balcony did not get any sun, but that was the only minor issue.
