This hotel is the easiest to find in Alicante as it's the tallest building in the city and just off the main road along the seafront. Our room overlooked the marina and it had everything we required
Hotel lovely but very disappointed. I am staying here presently and went up to bar yesterday and they could only offer me a high bar stool at bar even though there were a lot of empty seats
The views from room 1803 (superior room with views) in fact that room has city, castle Santa Barbara , marina, and sea views along the coastline, the hotel is city based but one hundred metres from the sea and the esplanade which is lined with some wonderful restaurants and bars Palmitos is worth a visit, the hotel is within walking distance of the colourful floral old town, the castle (although we...
Just returned tonight from the city of Alicante where we stayed at Gran Sol affiliated by Melia, (we read the reviews before we traveled and our fears were gone as we arrived at the reception yesterday (this is a twenty storey plus 1970s tower) but the service and the room we stayed at made our city break most enjoyable
Reception where really helpful and were checked in without fuss and straight to our room on the 20th floor, we uplifted to a sea view for not a lot
Had a 3 night stay at this hotel. The location is really great and central to everything. The superior room was spacious and had a separate lounge area but could do with renovating

There are many breakfast options. The sea view room is great. The scenery is beautiful. The facilities are complete, with both a gym and a swimming pool.
The hotel is modern and new and just sea front we had booked room with terrace so we thought that we would have sea view room but there was no sea view, only next building. Apart from this everything was ok
So happy to have bumped across this hotel while booking our stay, coz not only is the service impeccable, but the location is perfect! Close to the beach and a couple of minutes walk to the Peniscola Castle which is a tourist attraction spot here! Lots of restaurants nearby, but we are happy we chose to dine at the hotel's restaurant itself! The chef made the best vegetarian pizza for us on request...
WOW! What a gorgeous place! Staff was very friendly and the location is unbeatable. The breakfast was very good, and the food options are plenty. It was great to have access to the sauna and Turkish bath
Loved that they stressed on sustainability and reminded to ask for toiletries only if needed and mindfully use water. Overall a memorable stay and extremely helpful staff! 100% recommend!
Great little hotel with fantastic views of the beach and Castillo de Peniscola. Nice little restaurant and bar downstairs with nice lounge chairs to relax. Really loved this place.

But the staff are what make it - extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful - nothing is too much trouble and they were very patient with my terrible attempts at Spanish! A bus stop right outside will take you to Gandia town, the train station, the shopping mall or wherever
The restaurant food is very good, but they should put someone back to supervise the tables to see what's missing, as they did the other times we've been here. Three waitresses for the entire restaurant is insufficient
This is our fifth time here, this time with my parents so they could experience it, and we will definitely return whenever we travel to Gandía. Cleanliness is the highlight, both in the rooms and in the common areas
Highly recommend it for solo travel. You will sleep like a log too, the beds are great! I got a nice big bathroom and a lovely terrace to sit out on, and there’s a fridge, plus you can get the bbc news channel
The rice dishes, fideuá, ribs, melon cream with ham. are exquisite, and the desserts are homemade and good. I also want to highlight the customer service and friendliness; you feel right at home
The San Luis Hotel is a great place to spend a peaceful and relaxing vacation

I went to Meridional Hotel to have a drink in the sky bar. I loved it, it is not very expensive and you have excellent views of the Mediterranean Sea
The room ( and view of the sea) was perfect. The food in the restaurants was amazing. The staff were attentive and knowledgable.
Stay was amazing. Was there during off season so dinning was limited for choice. Staff was great.
Great Hotel, Sky bar, Spa, Restaurant and pool. We were a little disappointed with our hotel room. No bidet in an otherwise good bathroom (a must in hot climate)
Very clean and tidy, not far from the center of guardamar de Segura, staff friendly and helpful at all times, restaurants well worth a visit.
Fabulous hotel Such a relaxing stay! Beautiful decor and the dinner was fabulous! So delicious!

Bed and air con good, food not great but found enough to eat, ideal for beach and bars. Up a small hill but not to bad. Didn't spend any time at pool or evening so have no comment. No fridge in room.
Had a short 4 day break at Mont-Park in Benidorm, the hotel is in a great location with the beach within a short walk, the Old Town was a flat walk about 15-20 minutes
the staff were really helpful and the pool area was great loads of sunbeds and the pool was bit warm instead of freezing. had some entertainment on but we were out every night
We found the hotel was clean and room cleaned every day and fresh towels if required although basic with no coffee/tea facilities. The lift is very small only four people maximum and that was tight
Not much entertainment in the hotel, but that was good as it meant less noise at night. All in all, a great hotel for the price and would definitely recommend
You get what you pay for really. Rooms clean and cleaned everyday. Pool was lovely, nice small hotel so not too busy. Great location - close to the strip and all main restaurants/bars

The bed board lit up and there was a roller blind which was electric at the side of the bed so u can block the sun out , the windows had a glass on that u cud see out but no one cud see in Aammaazing And we did,nt book the best room just a normal room ,they gave us a kettle to have tea n coffee when we need it, we went self catering but chose to have a few meals at the hotel , wow £12
Hotel Benikaktus, Benidorm – A Fantastic Easter Getaway I recently visited the Hotel Benikaktus in Benidorm over the Easter long weekend with my two sons, and I'm delighted to say it was a brilliant experience from start to finish
The hotel entertainment was great fun and, as you'd expect given we were in Spain, had a strong Spanish theme to it which we thought was entirely fitting and added to the atmosphere rather than taking anything away from it! The swimming pool was a real highlight for us
It was genuinely one of the best I've ever used so powerful it could literally take your breath away! To top it all off, the views from the hotel were simply amazing and added a real wow factor to the whole experience
Waking up to scenery like that each morning really does set the tone for the day. We had breakfast included in our stay, which was a very welcome touch. The food was lovely and set us up nicely for the day ahead
Our only fault was the 'heated pool' is cold - but to be fair we did visit out of the peak season (but the pool was supposed to be warm even at this time). Certainly not a deal breaker for us though

A very stylish hotel, located in the central area, convenient for travel. The hotel introduction has detailed information on the distance to various attractions, and the supermarket is just opposite the hotel
Very helpful and effective staff. Juan in the bar/restaurant was the best! Rooms very well appointed and funcional. We attended during Fallas and slept soundly at night
I had an erroneous booking with this hotel but they were very kind to modify for free! It was even Trip. com who took a long time to coordinate and modify the booking itself
Overall, it's a very pleasant hotel in the city center. However, our room wasn't very nice, with a tiny window that let in almost no light
The bathroom needs renovation—dust billows out of the ventilation, the shower leaks, the walls are moldy from the humidity, and the toilet leaks
First of all, the hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center, almost within walking distance of everything. There are also many shops nearby. The room size is just right, and the bathroom is spacious

Very clean bedroom and bathroom and comfy bed, although the mini fridge was not cold at all (even after I changed settings) and the aircon was slow
Not soundproof at all– luckily I had earplugs but my partner didn’t and you could hear people entering and leaving their rooms from the elevator, as well as hearing everything outside the window
The restaurant seems overpriced, with breakfast at €22 per person so I did not try it
The proximity to the beach, ocean swims and sunrises and sunsets just extra special
Great location and reasonably priced for a four star hotel by the beach
Good location, next to the sea

Fantastic location - straight across the road from the main beach
Our room was spotless, with comfortable beds, powerful shower, mini fridge and a balcony with a great side-on view of the sea. Staff were friendly and the food was good
It's located right on the seafront. The air conditioning works very well. The pool with jacuzzi is comfortable and charming
Love the ribs, rooms have what you need, sea view, close to the beach and shops
Only thing I missed was a robe, would be nice to get out of the shower into the air conditioning and there was no price list for the items on minibar so when we checked out I asked about that and they said the staff should have told us they were complimentary, shopping centre just downstairs with loads of portion for food and shopping, including gym, there are free parking spaces just outside the hotel...
We stayed half board for 5 nights, and there was plenty of choice for breakfast and dinner. Drinks with dinner were extra but reasonably priced. Would recommend this hotel for adults looking for a relaxing stay in Gandia

It was also lovely to see how friendly the team are, from the front desk right through to the housekeeping staff everyone was welcoming and helpful throughout our stay
Hotel Gala Placidia in Benidorm Alicante, April 2026. Great vibes. Room on 7th floor. Fantastic value for money. Staff extremely friendly and Hotel very clean.
Went the week before Easter 26 for 9 days. flights/transfers) for All Incl. Just a getaway at the end of winter, so had no unreasonable (or particularly high) expectations. I think we struck lucky with the Gala
Also, something on every evening, from live acts to quizzes etc - Gala makes an effort to do this - we have been many other places that do not. Plenty of outside space around bar pools and main pool
Note: look out for the sweet cats that live around the main pool. Regardless of cost, we will remember Gala Placidia as one of the better (2* to 5*) hotels we have stayed in the past 30 years
Choice of lunch/evening food much better than expected (we stayed at a 5* in Croatia last year where the choice was better, quality of food similar, but Croatia cost double)

The rooms and the service were great, short walk to the beach, and they dealt with my English speaking family with respect and patience.
The hotel could be a little noise since there it faces a busy street with bars and restaurant in front of it. The beds are very comfortable and the water pressure is excellent. The views from the balcony are great.
Beautiful hotel close to the beach. Wish we had a room on upper floors, not on the first floor to be able to see the Mediterranean Sea. Breakfast and dinner was included in the price. It’s called half boarding
the hotel was the last one to my trip to Spain. Really, the personal, the hotel was amazing, the food the food , the person, I really renting the room againg. Its near to the restaurants, beach, wow I love it!
Really good hotel. Very friendly staff who were very nice to speak slower in Spanish ( thank you ). Room was lovely and clean. Slept really well. Breakfast was plentiful and nice. I'd recommend staying here.
Two weeks before end of season and very quiet. Minimal facilities but no problem. Clean, good professional 3 star hotel. No coffee or tea making facilities in room; not good. But very good value for money

Of course, the rooms are in need of renovation, but this did not upset us, because the view from our room was picturesque🤩 I strongly recommend this hotel for those who do not want to overpay and live close to all facilities
First of all, I would like to note the good location of the hotel and the very friendly staff. They responded instantly to our requests. The choice of food for dinner was good enough. Everything is deliciously prepared
Just an excellent property all around. This area is hard to stay in because of limited space near the shopping district in general. They have a street level parking lot, but you should expect a typical fee for use.
Good hotel Good clean room, everything ok although the bar shut a liitle early
I come here often and I really like it! The staff is so nice and helpfull. The location is perfect. Rooms are clean, I will keep coming back❤️

The bedroom we stayed in was large and spacious with a balcony that overlooked the sea. The spacious bathroom was equipped with a shower plate and fully equipped with gels, shampoo and hair conditioner
What a wonderful hotel right on the sea! I am stunned to see any negative reviews. The room was fabulous, staff very helpful and the food was just delicious! Tons of variety for breakfast, lunch and dinner
Beachfront - with sunrise and sunset views from every balcony. All rooms have a view of the sea. Mariano and Pedro, along with Niki, really stand out. Rooms are comfortable, well appointed and clean
The breakfasts and dinners had a good and varied selection of food. There are two bar lounges where food and drinks are served, and there is an outdoor swimming pool which my family and I used in December
Wonderful coffee maker to make expresso, cafe con leche, etc
Excellent location and service

Had breakfast at cafes nearby as I prefer that than in the dining room indoors (doesn’t have outdoor seating) especially as it’s all so close or just sitting with my own food on the lovely sunny balcony
Clean spacious room. Staff were great, friendly and helpful. Parking off site is available for a charge. Able to unload the car outside the hotel was an advantage as the car park was too far away. Close to the old town.
This is a great hotel on the seafront, we have stayed twice now, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean and well stocked with toiletries. The rooms gets cleaned every day
Only one downside to this stay was the breakfast options - previous stay we enjoyed the breakfasts, this time we noticed their selection was limited and my partner had so little to eat so it was not worth the extra money for us this time
The room had no proper window which you could look through, but was in central location and clean. Overall, I was happy with the reception, the bathroom and anything else I needed. I stayed for a night in Benidorm.

A very pleasant stay, in a hotel that caters very well to active people! We stayed here during our trip through Spain, with the primary goal of having a bike fitting appointment and left feeling rejuvenated and relaxed
The offer of the pool is also a nice touch, although we did not use it during our stay. The large and secure bike room was also welcomed, and well stocked with some tools and numerous pumps to cater to the quick fixes
👏🏻 We were also impressed by how many facilities and services the hotel offers. The receptionist, Saray, was lovely and explained everything to us very kindly. We’ll definitely be coming back to try more next time
We booked breakfast during our stay, and also ate at the restaurant one evening. Breakfast was a buffet, but well catered and not missing anything, although an omlette station would be have been a nice touch
Throughout our stay we felt welcomed and cared for, the staff were very accommodating and willing to assist whenever we had questions. We would certainly look to stay here again when we return to the area
Hotel perfect for cycling trip all facilities are top notch. Highly recommend. On the top of that big thanks to Sandra at the reception for the amazing hospitality. Will come back for sure. 👍👍👍

Excellent breakfast and and for the value of the money you get for a room its a steal! If you look to get away for a couple of days, this is the perfect spot. The surrounding areas are also superb
Very comfortable rooms, pool area and lounge. Excellent restaurant, superb wine list, and very friendly and helpful staff. The is our 5th visit and the standards are 5 star.
The pool area and gardens were impressive, we hosted a post wedding event in the garden area and we're so pleased with the quality of the food and service. A big thanks to Paloma and the whole team for looking after us
We stayed at Hotel Les Rotes for a week in September as we were getting married at a nearby venue. All totalled together, 60 of our friends and family stayed at the hotel too

Lovely hotel in residential part of Alicante The room was clean and spacious. Bathroom lovely and beds comfortable We had Breakfast which was plentiful and many different things to choose
We must give a shout out to young lady who worked so well and was delightful even when I spilt beetroot smoothie. She made our breakfasts enjoyable and pleasant to be there

Spent a night at the hotel. The pool was lovely with a view by the beach. Rooms are spacious but beds not too confortable We had a room with sea view which was nice
The location is amazing, the staff was super friendly and welcoming (beside one receptionist male young that speaks only Spanish and looks bothered whenever we talked to him),the rooms are big but a bit old but, but highly functional
While it retains some of the charm of that era, it has recently been totally refurbished, and is now both modern and comfortable. It is also beautifully clean throughout, and maintained in very good order
There’s plenty to do in the area - we trekked up to the castle and navigated the bus and train into Valencia fairly easily but to be honest we mainly lazed on the beach, which is right on your doorstep
We had a wonderful weeks stay at the Hotel Sicania and will definitely visit again. The location on the beach is stunning, the hotel spotless with really helpful staff and comfy rooms

A lovely sea front hotel. What we enjoyed most are: The friendly helpful staff. The smart decor and cleanliness. And the whole atmosphere of the hotel made our holiday very enjoyable.
Had a fantastic evening meal in this restaurant, food quality and service were excellent, surprisingly on a Saturday night in November we appeared to be the only dining guests, the service was like private dining, with a beautiful view of the sea/sunset, thank you very much
Located on the seafront, I lived on the 23rd floor, an excellent panorama, very good food, excellent services, I highly recommend, do not hesitate ...
