I specifically booked a room with a Matterhorn view, but was extremely disappointed to find a metal scaffolding directly obstructing the view from my window. The hotel did not notify or explain this either prior to my arrival or during check-in. Furthermore, the dinner main course offered no options, consisting only of cheese, pickles, and three small potatoes.

The Hotel Colorado provides everything you need to see Lugano and it is a great value for the area. Wooooow!!! We spent wonderful days at Altana Hotel in Scuol. Good position near to the train station, cable car and city center. Staff was incredibly kind and attentive. The rich breakfast was optimal to start the hiking day in the Swiss Alps.
