i booked 2 rooms for my family of 4, please refer to my another review. i like this hotel, i have come back if i visit zurich again. i even cooked in the room

I booked a single room, but everyone should avoid room 211. The window faces a huge street lamp, and the curtains don't block any light at all, so the room was bright all night long. For anyone who needs darkness to sleep, this is an absolute disaster.

Location is near train station, room size is ok for couple. If you like to visit museum, there’s just 1 nearby, recommend to pay a visit to see.

The hotel is conveniently located right next to the Central Station. Check-in was very pleasant. The room was clean and had everything I needed, including a kettle and tea-making facilities.

The room is big and clean. The bathroom is clean , no bad smells. There are toiletries. The location is in the center. There are many bistros convenient stores nearby. There are services to drop guests at railway station. The breakfast is very good. The taste is very good, delicious. There are no air conditioners and fan. But the weather is cold in early June.

We stayed 1 nite but there was construction of roads outside hotel until about 12 am. The hotel could very well have informed us earlier for us to make changes to construction around the areas and be given the option to change hotel. Staff were very nice and apologetic. The rooms we stayed in were a little run down. It should consider upgrading soon.

It was pretty good, better than I expected. The room size was decent, and breakfast was a standard continental with some hot options.

The room was very clean, and the location was excellent, just a 10-15 minute walk from the station. The only downside was that the air conditioning wasn't very effective; I woke up cold in the middle of the night and had to put on a sweater to sleep.

The location is a bit average, about a 15-minute walk from the train station. Facilities are just okay, typical of a chain budget hotel, so I didn't expect much. Service is also standard for a chain hotel. All the facilities are listed on Ctrip. I'd recommend it to others.

For this price and location, it's excellent. It's a 5-minute walk to the 200-year-old wooden bridge, and I even managed to buy a Rolex – a long-desired purchase! The young man at the front desk was incredibly helpful, explaining where and how to park. He was so eager to assist, he practically wanted to park the car for us. He even walked out to the street to guide us.

Can accept it and don’t forget the free coffee at the breakfast bar.

Wonderful hotel in Grindelwald near the Grindelwald First terminal. The location is fantastic, as it is steps to the First terminal, and is an easy walk to town and the Grindelwald train station. The stay includes the Grindelwald Card, which allows free bus rides from right outside the hotel through the town to the Grindelwald terminal with access to ski slopes and activities in the Jungfrau region...

This is a great hotel to stay in. Staff excellent. Breakfast has a large choice, good menu choice for dinner and both were great. The room we had was very clean and comfortable with a great view. We had a excellent stay.

We were very happy when I contacted the hotel. They were willing to pick us up at the train station. Our room and view were amazing and the breakfast as well as the dinner at the hotel was quite delicious. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub as well would definitely stay there again.

ParkHotel Schoenegg is in just the right place. Near to the train station, next to Grindelwald First and right around many dinning choices. The staff are all great and very helpful. The room was comfortable, clean and very quiet. The breakfast is great and their dinner is also delicious.

I spent almost 2 weeks there, and I can recommend it. The staff is really friendly and helpful, and all facilities look modern and high quality. Breakfast was also good. Situated close to the highway, city center easily reachable by bus or by around 5 minutes by car.

The room was nice and quite big. I don't know if it was due to the energy price, but the room temperature was a bit low. There is a restaurant in the hotel, but the taste is quite average. It is not recommended to try it.

We love our stay at Hotel Federale Lugano. The receptionists are very helpful. They even printed us the schedule of buses and helped planning our itineraries to Menagio - Varenna. The hotel is situated below the train station, accessible by a steep, zigzag path. The incline made carrying luggage to station challenging.

Warm and friendly staff which went out of their way to make us feel wanted. Hotel Certaldo is within walking distance to Funicular for excellent food and spectacular views of country side. I spent two weeks in Geneba at Hôtel Eden, and I really enjoyed my stay. The room was nice and clean, the location was fantastic and the staff were very nice. The only thing that could perhaps be improved: I wish there had been more vegan options for breakfast.

Hotel Eden and its associated restaurant were both outstanding finds at this price range. A 10 minute walk to downtown, quiet and clean rooms. The Caramela served fabulous food. But the service really set this hotel apart from others. Everyone was cheerful, helpful and seemed to genuinely care. Highly recommend!

The hotel is beautiful. Came with complimentary spa and wellness facilities which were great and relaxing. Although the hotel is quite far from the train station, there is regular transportation arranged to and fro the hotel and train station which was really helpful. The hotel is very clean and nicely organized. The staff is friendly and helpful. The property is spread across several buildings, so you need to walk outside to get to the spa, wellness area, and breakfast. This is the fifth year in a row we are coming here as a friends group for autumn hikes, spa relaxation and great food and wine :) I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff members from reception Davide, Lorena and Sergio are extremely welcoming and friendly :) The hotel is located in a beautiful area overseeing the forest and lakes and the view from the spa is breathtaking! 5/5!

Right next to the Duomo, the location is absolutely fantastic. Although the room was a bit small, the designer made excellent use of the space, giving it a really artistic and comfortable feel. Plus, it was quiet!

Newly renovated with great taste for design without being luxurious but showing Swiss charm with loads of twinkle in the eye. Can absolutely recommend, finding a place like that in Zurich is good, really good. I stay here for 2 night its little bite far from the city but we can take the shuttle bus and train to go to central you just have to walk about 650kilometre to get to the bus station

We come back to Sonnwendhof third time and it is always perfect! It is perfect welcoming, great rooms and astonishing views, very close to everything you might need, playroom, amazing breakfast with multiple choices and some very local products. I like how everything is decorated in the hotel and how ladies working at the hotel care about their guests. It is definitely one of the best family hotels...

Sonnwendhof is a great place for family visit to Engelberg in summer or winter. Hotel in good scenic location with within walking distance of all major attractions and mountain views from rooms . Staff also ensured hassle free late check in and the breakfast was great. Only draw back was you coudnt sit in balcony after 10 pm and speak in normal voice as neighbors were apparently disturbed.

We have visited this hotel many times and this is the first time back since COVID. The hotel is beautifully situated in the Lucerne area and Engleberg is a great place to unwind and be truly 'in the mountains'. This are has so much to offer and has plenty to do all year round. Hotel Des Alpes is the place to be in Luzern from the moment i arrived until i left. Everyone was nice and friendly, helpful and tryly made my stay unforgettable. The room i stayed in has a direct view of the Chapel.Bridge, its centrally located and close to everything. The restaurant on the first floor is amazing. This hotel has a fantastic view. My sister loves reading novels here. She spends her days playing cards and chatting in the courtyard, and you can even see the Matterhorn. The scenery is superb, and it's very peaceful and relaxing.

It seems the moment the restaurant staff figure out you are visiting USA they start demanding tips. Tipping is not customary and the Locals eating out detest Americans who are trying to tip. We have been the last two years in a row over the Feb half term with our young children who have learned to ski here and love it. My wife and I had a wonderful four day stay at the Splitzhorn in Saanen to participate in a friend's family wedding. The hotel displays 3 stars but really it could be five! The quality of the rooms, the delicious meals in the hotel restaurant and many hours enjoying the spa made the stay one of the finest. We would highly recommend the Splitzhorn if you are in the area.

Booked a premium room with mountain view for a 5 nights stay. While our room was on the mountain view side, we had a ground floor room with a view of three adjacent chalets and walkers passing our bedroom window on a wanderweg. Feel that ******* customers receive lesser treatment than direct bookings. While the room was disappointing, the restaurant and staff were first class.

I stayed here during a work trip. Friendly staff who were helpful and attentive. If skiing nearby the location is ideal with plenty of business options which can take you to the variety of different slopes nearby.

The hotel is nice, situted at the beginning of the village of Lenzerheide. The skibus stops in front of the hotel, which is great in winter. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was small but comfortable and fonctional. Breakfast was good. All in all, a good place to stay in Lenzerheide.

The hotel is very clean and neat, the staff are very attentive and polite. The breakfast includes multiple options and also local products, coffee is also great. There is a bar where you can chill in the evening and also good restaurant choices nearby. For bigger families however note that there are no options for triple rooms or family rooms, so you will need to get separate doubles

Very convenient location for children's ski school. Facilities for storing sports equipment was good. The rooms were comfortable and everything was simple and worked well. Breakfast followed the same pattern of good and simple. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful.
