A truly memorable hotel! It's incredibly close to Grindelwald train station, literally just 5 meters away. When I first arrived, I even walked around the outside, but you can actually walk straight there from the other platform.

The hotel was very clean and well maintained. They provided a pickup service, which was very convenient. The location is great, close to a supermarket. Great. Would live here again! The hotell is nicely placed by the train and buss station. There is a short walk to the city center, but the staff were very helpful with tips on where to go. The hotel is a bit old-fashioned, but the front desk staff were very friendly. Breakfast was a little basic, but considering the price, it was actually quite good. It's about a seven or eight-minute walk from the HBF (main train station).

The hotel management reassigned me to a smaller room, citing that the originally allocated room had been given to guests staying for multiple nights. This practice is unprofessional and does not reflect appropriate service standards. May refer to the check in form I signed, the original room was 415, I was assigned 511.

Amazing location only a very short walk from the train station. Breakfast continental buffet was lovely and the staff very friendly. No heating in the room but then we found a Dyson air blower in the cupboard which heated the room nicely. We also requested extra pillows which were sent to our room promptly. Lovely staff. The rooms, like other Ibis hotels, were quite small. The front desk was cramped, but the staff were fairly friendly. The location was okay, a short walk to the lake. My room is considered good size for Swiss standard, better than expected as we already know how expensive hotels in Switzerland are. The hotel was in center, perfect location. Clean and tidy. Amenities were provided such as sewing kit, ear buds etc. Coffee machine with coffee pods are well appreciated. And plus a chocolate as a gift at check in. All was superb. Besides breakfast. It was poor.

The hotel could very well have informed us earlier for us to make changes to construction around the areas and be given the option to change hotel. Staff were very nice and apologetic.
