The sea water is overheated, full of seaweed and garbage items. This is due to the reef being like a kilometer away and blocking water exchange. This hotel is no good for beach and sea lovers

The rooms were lovely, the place is surrounded in beautiful trees and plants, you walk from your rooms to the pool/dining area which is located on the beach. The staff were simply the best, so friendly and polite

The sellers on the beach are a bit relentless but no one means any harm and they don’t come into Zoi. The food changes daily and was amazing and the breakfast is absolutely beautiful

It is extremely inconvenient because it wakes you up in the morning and then you can’t peacefully spend your time by the pool when the sun is too strong to be on the beach

I’dve rated this place 5/5 if it wasn’t for the terrible sound of a constant PNEUMATIC HAMMER, from a next door construction, that starts at 8:35-45 am (everyday! but Sunday) and finished after 3pm (we always left at 3 pm to the beach so I’m not sure of the exact hour)

You can walk to the beach and the center of the village in 8-9 minutes, but the road is very dusty and broken

All the staff is so nice they even went out in the village to get us some personal items since we didn’t plan to stay. The restaurant, the bar and the pool are right in front of the beach

We are staying in Paje and came here to watch the sunset and discovered this amazing resort right on the beach so we decided to have diner and stay for the night and enjoy all the facilities

Explore the village, people here are friendly and chill. Low tide? Go on a walk or swim in the pool. Happy hour for sunset and drinks. Come here and you will be happy

The room is very big and the electrical appliances are Chinese brands! The beach is right at the door, so it's convenient to go out to the sea. The hotel has three swimming pools and the children had a lot of fun

If you like the local style, this hotel is the best among the hotels and is highly recommended. Because it is right by the sea, there will be crows as your companions during the open breakfast

The price/performance ratio is good for an all-inclusive hotel in Zanzibar. The beach outside the hotel is very beautiful. The sunset is super beautiful. I spent three nights happily.

The overall feeling is good, but the network is not good and it is a bit far from the swimming pool.

Even the room with no sea view from the balcony (see video) was sold as a sea view room; the check-out time was set before 10 am, which was unheard of; there were a lot of complaints...

The hotel is located almost 12 mins from the beach by walking,it has a nice pool surronded by garden. The room is spacious but lacks basic amenities like shower gel or shampoo

Great for the price, only stayed for 1 night so didn’t get to use the pool but the room and breakfast were great. Although the ‘Sea view’ room only saw a sliver of the water over the trees

the hotel is nice, it's not on the beach. It's 10 minutes to the beach, it's better to go to the blue hotel there, it's nicer

We recently celebrated our anniversary at Zanzi Resort, and the experience exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel genuinely welcome and well taken care of

We stayed in an ocean front villa with a private pool, which offered excellent privacy and seclusion—something we particularly appreciated as a Muslim couple

Unbelievable, a gorgeous property. The photos do not do it justice. We will be back The team were very welcoming and were also very kind making us an early breakfast so we could eat before our flight from Zanzibar

The setting allowed us to fully relax without concern, and the villa itself was spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed

Overall, I think this is an excellent resort that is affordable, clean, with a gorgeous beach very friendly staff I did not do full board but was able to order off the lunch menu for dinner and overall the food was good

The accommodation is extremely spacious (the villa that we stayed in was over 100 square meters, with an outside covered terrace and situated right on the edge of the beach, with a stunning view of the sea)

Food in the evenings included a variety of vegetables and salads, and as well as a selection of meat and vegetarian dishes each evening, there was almost always fresh fish being cooked on the grill, which was delicious

We opted for a half-board formula (breakfast and evening meal) and enjoyed delicious breakfasts with a selection of fresh fruit juices, fresh tropical fruits, eggs, pancakes, waffles and pastries

Our stay at Hakuna Majiwe was amazing. The location is great, close to Paje center, yet far enough to have a quiet time, surounded by beautiful nature. The crown jewel of this hotel are it`s employees

The only thing that wasn`t 5/5 were the rooms. They cleaned everyday, but some elements were just old and deteriorated, like the bed canopy or the bathroom faucets

Hors Piste arranged for our extended family to stay at Jambiani Villas at the end of our safari--what a great plan! Our beachfront villa had a pool, was immaculately clean, and was well maintained with air conditioned bed rooms

The staff served with efficient kindness, and the food was wonderful. The younger members of our family found fun excursions from beach front vendors. One of our two top favorites of lodging in Tanzania

Jambiani villa ( Kusini) is a beautiful 3 bed villa on the jambiani beach , which is situtated on the southeren side of Zanzibar , its calm and oeacful there ideal for families .

The property was exactly as described, on the beach, clean, peaceful and with amazing staff

Moreover, hotel service is professional, helpful and fiendly, manager constantly collects feedback from guests. We can sincerely recommend the private BBQ, which provides delicious food and an unique atmosphere

BEAUTIFUL outdoor area! Very kind employees from Reception to Spa, cleaning and Restaurant. Rooms are spacious with sufficient room for 3 big single/queen beds and luggage without it feeling crammed

Simple interior but we were only in the room for sleeping and it had good nets thst was prepared each night. Did not see one single mosquito inside. Bedsheets clean but with a few permanent stains

Only awareness point is that the door lock is very simple: from outside you lock with a small padlock (but there is a safe in the room)

Private pool with loungers that you can be served both food and drinks at, perfect place to relax amongst a lovely manicured garden. Dinner and drinks on the rooftop terrace to see the sun set over the harbour water

Stayed here while we spent an evening in Stonetown, lovely hotel with friendly staff. Rooms were clean and well-kept with the charm of a period Zanzibarian building

It's good, but there is no parking space. It cost 20 dollars to park on the street.

Xanadu, saved our first vacation to Zanzibar. We had booked 11 nights elsewhere on the Island and checked out after 7 (see Mora report). Xanadu was a completely different experience and one which we hope to repeat

We had booked the Umande Villa, perfectly fine, but for a small upgrade fee we were introduced to the Alfajiri, a whole different level of design and space, of course we couldn’t say no

Beach has sellers on it that can be annoying but firm for two days and that stopped any hassle. The new hotel being built next door was sometimes noisy……but not Waridi’s fault

The beach was nice, but unfortunately, it was impossible to go swimming in the sea because local merchants stood right behind the resort beach and intrusively offered their products and excursions, and they were not tolerant even when you politely told them you were not interested

I recommend skipping the forest walk as it's not really anything substantial. Instead beach combing is a great idea. The snorkelling was truly awesome

We enjoyed snorkeling, tidal walks, forest trails, crab walks and a lot more while learning more about ecological subjects. The cabins were very comfortable and the food was also absolutely delicous!

There was another moment when a guide identified a fish, but it turned out the name he gave wasn’t correct — another member of our group corrected it, and later research confirmed the group member’s name was accurate

Chombe is a little bit of heaven! I don't know where to begin in my praise for the charming staff, delicious food, interesting activities (Thankyou so much J2) and idyllic setting. A really magical experience.

I stayed at Zanzibar Palace Hotel from June 8 to June 10 and had an amazing experience. The hotel is full of character, with beautiful Zanzibari decor and a peaceful atmosphere

The hotel is about 2 kilometres off the beaten track on a narrow dirt road and guests are mostly confined to the hotel grounds. The not very impressive beach is inaccessible at high tide

Location not the best rough road to get there through a local village but once you arrive beautiful property great rooms it was my birthday and they had set up the room which was very much appreciated friendly staff No alchohol served on premises but you can walk outside to a local resturant if you want a drink

Nice clean pool and clean beach for morning walks. 10 minute drive to five star properties nearby if you want change of scenery(went to seacliffresort for a sundowner)

Instant Car Rental Zanzibar delivered the car to a guest at Royal Cliff Zanzibar. When I asked the guest about their stay, they praised Royal Cliff Zanzibar warmly. We at Instant Car Rental were also welcomed very well

Luckily for us there weren’t many guests which meant we had the pool to ourselves! Location-wise it is very centrally located- roughly 45 minutes either way to stone town or Nungwi

While the access road is a bit rough and the beach changes with the tides, these small details are outweighed by the resort’s comfort, cleanliness, and stunning sunsets

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. One of the few places that felt human. The service was so warm and friendly unlike many of the other places I've stayed in Zanzibar. So charming, peaceful and beautiful

All 7 rooms have sea view with balcony or veranda, there are two small pools, a fire place, a outdoor bar and a fun area in the villa: pool billiard, table tennis, table soccer, dart and a few gym machines
