I loved everything but to name a few: the stunning beach that even has a walkway into the ocean, the hotel staff’s attention to guest, the gym, the location, the spa and overall the smell of flowers/plants all over the resort

The resort has a charm that all those large hotels (that are so impersonal) miss out on. There was always plenty of food so even the pickiest eater can find something

The beautiful beach, the comfortable and well-maintained accommodation, and the delicious food alone would have made our holiday unforgettable, but what truly made our stay special was the incredible kindness and cheerfulness of the hotel staff

Leaving the Karafuu Hotel in Zanzibar after a week was incredibly emotional for us — words truly fall short. Our stay went far beyond anything we had imagined, and every aspect of it was exceptional

We loved absolutely everything about this resort. It was nice and quiet, there wasn’t many people, which was good because there was always free seats at the beach, and near the pool. The employees are extremely friendly

Just for note this area of Zanzibar is tidal so check the notice board for timings to get the most of out of the beach and any water sports. We tried paddle boarding and kayaking

The range of activities available at the resort include kayaking, paddle boarding, table tennis, pool… even daily beach volleyball games with fellow guests and hotel staff! The food at the hotel deserves a special mention

Every night, around 9, they came to spray our room against bugs, mostly mosquitoes, it helped a lot, our room was beautiful, and the pools were nice to cool off in

We arrived here on the 9th of march after our flights had been cancelled due to the war , we arrived at 10pm at night after sourcing emergancy accomodation and we were greeted by MIKE , he has been nothing but amazing thru out our stay , today the 16th of march again out flights were delayed and mike went out his way to accomodate our stay checking in on myself and my party , daily he found us made...

The staff are the friendliest and most conscientious, hardworking people I have met, with so much pride I their in their work and a genuine care to make your stay perfect, from concierge, reception, housekeeping, groundspeople, waiting staff, chefs, bar tenders, all of them deserve a mention! The food was excellent, great themes each day so a good variety and not your usual boring buffet

Tanzanite Beach resort is place where You want to come back as soon is possibile!

Tanzanite Beach Resort is located right on the beach with a stunning view of the sea! You have direct access to the beach front. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful with anything you need

It is not touristic and not much around, it is a more quiet area and you can only go into the sea is low tide. Otherwise you can walk 30 minutes to Nungwi beach

It was amazing! Great views of the sea, picturesque places, lovely breakfast and super friendly stuff! Really enjoyed my stay there and want to express great thanks from the whole group!! You feel like you are in the heaven, rooms are also wide and internet is fast! You have everything you need!!

The value of our stay was worth every cent! The resort is calm during the day and they offer entertainment certain evenings to keep you busy which we thought is really creative! There is a pool with a lot of tanning beds and the resort provides you with a fresh towel every day

There are local vendors on the beach who can be a bit annoying, as well as Maasai people, but they are not pushy at all. You can have interesting conversations with them and learn a lot. Overall, it was a great vacation

We stayed at Sultan Sands Zanzibar for our honeymoon and had a wonderful experience. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, and we received several complimentary surprises because it was our honeymoon

The staff were always smiling, friendly, and never intrusive. The rooms might be a little outdated, but it didn’t affect our stay at all, especially since they were cleaned very well every day

The hotel has a wonderful location, direct access to one of Zanzibar's best beaches, Kendwa! The white sand is up to 200 meters wide! The breakfast is simple but delicious!

Mocco beach villa is about 1hr30 from the airport and cost apx50$ or if you booked from booking. The places is amazing with wonderful view and clear water for swimming

Great location, staff is super friendly and let us use the sunbeds and umbrella for free as we had lunch there. Place has a very relaxed vibe and no beach salesmen💛💛💛💛💛💛

However it has a perfect location right on the beach and easy access to local tours and attractions. It is very clean and well maintained. The hotel staff were so wonderful and accommodating

From the moment you arrive to the final drive to the airport this place is true paradise! Service above and beyond, the property has 16 rooms in stunning bungalows. The maintenance and amenities are top notch

Tulia was at a 4/10 when it came to the food

Walking distance from the Pongwe Beach. Staff are incredible and will do anything to make you happy. The hotel has their own little farm which provides the freshest ingredients for all the food

The resort has its own private beach with trees and comfortable sunbeds, and the pool area is equally impressive — perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings

What truly makes this place special, however, are the people who work here. From the managers to the gardeners, everyone is friendly, cheerful, and genuinely helpful. It was my first stay here, but certainly not my last

The only difference I noticed was being so tall difference between BA and Qatar there was not much space for my feet with the bed fully flat in cattle business class and I kept turning over and I would hit the top of the seat in front, I was I was woken up for brea

There is a beautiful pool in the grounds that is very clean and has plenty of shade if you don’t like the sea and sand. We can recommend Langi Langi so highly, and we are going back again this year

The hotel is wonderful, the rooms are large and well-maintained. There are rooms in the garden next to the pool, and there are rooms with ocean views. The view from them is stunning. Breakfasts are ordinary, quite decent

From the restaurant there is a direct descent into the ocean. Beach towels are provided, changed if necessary

I came with friends to see the sea. It is in the center of Stone Town and has a good location. Overall it is good and I will choose it again if I have the chance.

It's not new, but very beautiful. When we checked in, they said there were no sea view rooms, what a pity. ; The hotel is on the west side of the island

Right in the heart of Stone Town, you can go downstairs to the beach. There are fresh coconuts for breakfast, but they are not sweet enough

The hotel is beautiful. It is located at the heart of Stone town. If you like luxury than this hotel is for you. I’m definitely going to go back. The food and the friendly staff made my stay extra special.

Haha, maybe the African coconuts are not the right variety, they don't feel sweet enough. The overall service facilities are good and meet the standards of a 5-star hotel

The location is in Stone Town, which is convenient for sightseeing. It is a very good hotel in the area with good facilities, but it is a bit expensive

The Madinat Al Bahr hotel is conveniently located at a beach near the airport (3km, 6-10min drive) and also not far from Zanzibar City (7km, around 10-15min drive) with its famous stone town and ferry terminal to Dar Es Salaam etc

The beginning was a little bumpy yet after I addressed my concerns, the management in all departments including frontdesk and F&B went out of there way to make this visit for my mother and me even more memorable than expected

Next to a dinner invitation we were honored with a massive room upgrade with no questions asked. The staff was always extremely friendly and forcoming. I can definitely recommend this magnificent looking Hotel

But don't order the T-Bone steak. I asked for medium rare but got a hard boiled (!) though correct piece of meat but too tough to either cut or chew. The rooms are big and clean with nice ocean views

We booked a lift to the ferry but they told us totally wrong ferry times and basically cost me a whole day driving to a ferry that left long before. They had no clue what they were selling

But again, not really the hotel's responsibility. The reception easily let me book an additional early check-in and late check-out both of which made my trip a lot more pleasant

Activities like exercise sessions in the pool, beach yoga, cooking demos will further enhance the value of the Hotel

The best three nights of our honeymoon staycation , the half board deal is top tier, the food was always the best with plenty of choices , staff members went all out, shout out to Ramson and the others

When I was making my research about hotels in the island, Paradise Beach Resort definitely called my attention for all its offered benefits and facilities such as the All Inclusive package, daily entertainment shows, different bars and pools to enjoy

The staff were absolutely friendly, professional and helpful. I want to mention Happy Hostess, Johannes the masai, the chef Lotfy. The hospitality was BEYOND my expectations, they made me feel like in home

The food at Namaste was very tasty and the spices were very mild. Dennis' was serving us always wearing an engageous smile and always helpful. Dennis has been professional everyday.

The hotel is full of families, honey mooners; however, as a solo traveler is a lovely option to enjoy solitude relax time, and why not having the change to make new friends

I came alone and staying in a nice place where all my necessities are being taking care of is my number one priority

A final mention for Monica - I hope she will endure at White Sand and be there when we’ll be back next time! This is a nest, a shelter from all is noisy, vulgar and grey - the colors of the sea, the tides, the animals (red monkeys waking us up in the morning!)

We stayed in one of the villas and honestly, it had everything. Private pool with loungers and hammocks, really good air conditioning, a kitchen with a coffee machine and free soft drinks that got restocked daily

The rooftop with seating areas was our favorite spot for evening drinks. Loved the little touches like proper books in the living room and bedroom, and the mosquito net around the bed meant we slept perfectly

Two showers too – one inside and one outside. The resort itself has a nice boutique, a larger main pool, and a spa that's worth visiting. They use their own cosmetics which smell amazing

But the absolute highlight was the day cruise – snorkeling, landing on a sandbank, and the freshest grilled food prepared right on the yacht. Now let's talk about food because wow

For anyone who likes to stay active, there's tennis and padel courts, plus a center where you can book kitesurfing lessons and other stuff

The only seafood only restaurant in the area. Owned and run by locals unlike all other nearby places with Indian or Italian owners. Amazing friendly service. Best lobster and jumbo prawns.

I highly recommend the hotel, affordable price, the room I took was spacious with king bed, very clean and white sheets, shower room was so big as well, cold and hot water, I got a small fridge, AC and ventilation, the breakfast is quiet good, omletes fruits and juice

The location of this hotel is great. It is right on the beach front and the hotel offers sun beds for its guests. There are many, many bars and restaurants just a short walk away along the beach

We really enjoyed our stay at Baraka. The room was clean and comfortable. Reception staff were helpful and responsive

The place is very romantic and is very suggested for couples. Fantastic! We had dinner and we ordered pasta with prawns, calamari rings, hamburger and a analcolic cocktail for 70000 tzs (32 usd)

All day dining room service ends early 10pm and there are no places to buy any food if you wake up with a case of the munchies

What I want to complain about is that the hotel's breakfast is nothing to eat. The restaurant is on the top floor. Looking out, there are simple and low houses around, and you can't see the sea

In the core location of Stone City, there is a highly rated restaurant on the rooftop. It takes only five minutes to walk to the night market. The free shortbread for check-in is very fragrant and delicious

The hotel room was clean and modern. The breakfast buffet was great. Areas for improvement is the average service at the hotel

The hotel is like a little paradise—so green and cozy! When we arrived, the manager greeted us; she was thoughtful and helpful throughout our entire stay. The hotel offers yoga classes and bicycles for cycling

The spa is located in a beautiful spot, and the massage was very good. The highlight was our New Year’s party with a live band followed by a DJ playing. They truly care about their guests

The only thing that is not on is not about the hotel but about the area - when we get out of the hotel many street and beach vendors aggressively approach us

Some of the street vendors are so rude that they are going after you from the beach to the hotel main door where the body guard stops him

I prefered Nungwi beach and made a reservation for the Canary hotel in Nungwi beach but without my permission they changed my hotel to the Canary hotel in Kendwa beach which is far away 15 minutes by car from Nungwi

They told me that The hotel in Kendwa beach is better with own beach. Did I ask you for a better hotel? It is better for whom? I preferred Nungwi beach, that is all. I didnt see anything like this before

I learnt it at 23:00 when I arrived to the hotel and I waited a taxi for 45 minutes at the lobby. Everyday ı went to the Nungwi by taxi and one day walked through the beach in 43 minutes

I really liked it at Canary the staff was so kind and respectful ,the cleanliness was top notch keep it up guys .

The dining area had been revamped since our last visit in 2023 and the wide choice of food was still excellent. We particularly enjoyed having the special breakfast at the beachside

We arrived at Breezes beach club and Spa as a party if 6, immediately we were welcomed with cooling face towels by the staff after the drive from the airport

What makes Breezes so special for us is the amazing staff who are soattentive to all your needs and they all help make your stay even more enjoyable - special mention goes to Dora and Mtwana

First view of reception area is very relaxing and looking further through you can see a wonderful pool area and further from there is the view of the ocean, it was such a beautiful view and we knew instantly that this hotel was going to be a dream destination, the location is stunning and the whole hotel set up is absolutely spot on
