Qambani is the perfect place to relax, if you literally want to do nothing, except laze by the pool, or read a book! We absolutely loved the resort, from the staff, to the rooms, it was perfect
Qambani is a lovely, quiet resort with a wonderful atmosphere. The food is excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and lovingly decorated
Our flight home was cancelled with no option to rebook, due to nationwide Internet outage. Desperate, we called Qambani for help. They sent their driver back to the airport to get us
The staff we met from housekeeping, gardeners, waiting staff, pool area staff, to the supervisors we dealt with, each and everyone was helpful, polite, professional and exceptionally warm and friendly
I especially appreciate the overall aesthetic of the decor looking like it was cobbled together from shipwrecks and driftwood
The manager even came running to our room when the Internet service was briefly restored to inform us so we could rebook our flight home. That small window of Internet was all we got for the remainder of our stay

My stay at this hotel was excellent. The owners of this hotel are very good. They are hands on and very active and always ready to help. The rooms are clean and tidy and have a working air conditioning system
Breakfast here is okay. You can see the sea and islands from the second floor which is great. But price is higher than lodges of nortern beach.
Amazing staff. Highly recommend staying here. It’s walking distance to stone town. Rooms were clean and had air con.
1. Friendly staff
2. A walk to Stone Town
3. For families with our "kittens", there's a room for that
4. Included breakfast but you will have to outsource lunch and dinner (aplenty in Stone Town)
They were super apologetic about any miscommunications, arranged us a bus pick up from the ferry port for our group (even though it's close by) and upgraded one of our rooms. The staff were lovely, rooms very clean
With its stunning beaches, rich culture, and warm hospitality, this island is truly a dream getaway
Nice pool right at beach - but very basic breakfast
The beach is beautiful the rooms are well maintained and clean, the hospitality staff are amazing. Its comfort , simple and quiet yet never boring
Coco Beach is a beautiful and soothing resort in the heart of Paje! A buzzing and city like environment with positive vibes & energy
Very sweet and available staff. They did their best to bring our luggage back at our room after being lost by the airline company : we could haven’t done with the staff ! Very comfortable room , clean and with AC
The restaurant is very good. The best we have tried in Zanzibar by far. Do not miss the Cigale lobster it is a must eat in their restaurant. It is a very good deal and it is delicious
A true amazing experience i had with my family including three little ones. It is in fact my second visit in the past three months!

The hotel is within easy walking distance of the seafront
Beautiful rooms. Even if you dont stay, go for the $30 5 course tasting menu. Unexpected flavour combinations and seamless service with a lovely rooftop view. Bit breezy though, so take a light jacket
Each room is beautifully decorated and spacious. Air conditioning plus a ceiling fan makes the room comfortable for sleeping. My room had a lovely balcony overlooking a garden
We ate dinner at the onsite restaurant which was nice. They had a beach bag with towels which came in handy. We also liked the group tipping rather than needing to constantly tip
We stayed in Mimi which is one of the top rooms, so lots of stairs to get there. Room was huge, light and airy. We had a problem with hot water for the shower but once we notified the staff it was quick to be resolved
Turn down service was a lovely touch. Breakfast was wonderful and served at the roof top restaurant, which has a nice view over Stone Town. Also a great spot for sundowner drinks. We didn't try the set menu dinner there

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel
However there is a bit of disturbance from rats running around during the night which is make me more scary but it’s not big deal we have been experiencing it even in other hotel in big city
Nice amazing staff and food is good. Points is very closer to the ferry which is also very nice. Super thankful for my lovely chef abillah he made my stay perfectly
It was neither good nor bad, just average.
It didn't feel very clean.
What bothered me more was the large number of mosquitoes.

The hotel rooms are spacious with balconies and the location of the hotel is in the middle of stone town easy access to everything
Nice hotel with budget pricing.
Great place, amazing people 😄
The facilities are old, there is only soap in the bathroom, the smell in the room is not very friendly, and the most important thing is that the price is very high, and the cost performance is very low
Nice staff
I arrived after dinner, and they thought I was a no-show so they gave up my premium room. The next day they moved me to a nice room. The place itself is definitely not fancy
its a hotel locaited at town near to stone town city, Zanzibar urban town cuty, its lively place with 5 star service, not far from airport and also very near to port.
Mjini Magharibi Region, Jambiani, Beach Road 🧭 Map
The hotel has all the necessary amenities and have a great beach front location close to local attractions and restaurants. It also has a nice swimming pool
We returned to IFA for a vacation, since our visit with them in 2023 was absolutely wonderful! The location of IFA Beach Resort is ideal as it sits at the very beachfront, offering beautiful scenery
The staff members are warm and friendly, always ready to serve and help in any way possible
Rooms are clean and air conditioning provides a much needed break from the Zanzibar heat! Fridges in the rooms give an option for keeping cold drinks. Food here is absolutely delicious and prices highly affordable
The pool area is kept tidy and inviting, which is especially great when the tide is low
My family and I had an absolutely perfect stay at IFA Beach Resort ! The hotel is beautifully maintained, ideally located in a calm and peaceful setting, and the reservation team took a good care of my requests to give us an incredible spot right by the sea

The staff were absolutely amazing - really made us so incredibly comfortable. The restaurant food was delicious. The accommodation is just a short walk from the beach. Loved our stay.
Very nice restaurant, the food is really good and for affordable price. The staff is nice too. I definitely recommend.
Friendly staff ❤️
Tasty Food in restaurent and calm place really deserve to be visited
Calm place that deserve to be visited
Friendly staff
There was no air conditioner, but I was able to sleep because the wind was blowing through. It's like sleeping in a bungalow at a campsite. The view in front of the beach is spectacular
Amazing location right at the beach, clean and comfy rooms, nice breakfast. Nasrin and Erwin were great hosts and the employees fullfilled our every wish from food&drinks to organazing activities. Thank you so much.
The temperatures at the time were higher than normal for the season, and air conditioning would have added sweetness to my stay, especially at night
All the team was warm and open. Thank you for the lovely experience. They are there to help you whenever you need for example a taxi. Asante Sana, from Assala and Sarah
Great waking dream 🌴🌊💫
Great atmosphere, very comfortable bed, friendly service, the noise of the ocean is priceless.
Wonderful and welcoming host.
However no fridge in the rooms. Meals are on demand pretty much any time, always fresh and excellent. Breakfast choices are limited but very good, i. there's no breakfast buffet as in resorts (for that, go to Nungwi)

Traditional hotel in Stone town and great sea view from rooftop restaurant. Budget friendly and clean. Dedicated staff and helpful
This is a unique property in the Stone Town area of the Zanzibar, close vicinity to the Forodha Park , the hotel is quiet and gives you a feel of the ancient times a great break from the new modern hotels
Happy to change pressure as needed, welcoming and a delight in general. The room and atmosphere was Also lovely. Maryam is only massaging women so I feel Should be supported in her endeavors
I paid circa $50 for one night here on a work trip. For that price I think it was a complete bargain. Location is great, no night clubs / chickens crowing next door so quiet
I didn’t stay at the hotel but went for a massage at the spa with Maryam and I want to highly y recommend her to any women whom want some pampering or just a good massage
Instead it’s bursting with Stone Town character, amazing location, nice bed and bathroom with lovely staff. Will stay again and willing to pay a little more
I really highly recommend this club, very clean, good vibes, relaxing, greenaries, nice beach, amazing food, wonderful and friendly staff. it was just amazing and we look forward to visit again
We had a great staying and a very warm welcome! The location is amazing, the room just perfect; we had a lovely dinner by the pool!
I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway while still wanting to immerse themselves in a setting that reflects genuine African authenticity. We would definitely come back!
The ambience of the place and the courtesy of the staff was exceptional- the food was not only ever so delicious but its presentation was superb- 10/10 from our side- hope to revisit and stay for longer
On top of that, the entertainment team did an amazing job organizing a variety of tournaments and activities throughout the day, keeping the atmosphere lively and engaging despite the rain
Great food and ambiance!!! The chef made personal efforts to make sure everything was up to the mark. The professionalism and quality of food and service was 5 star!!!!
Mjini Magharibi Region, Nungwi, Mnarani Road 🧭 Map
They have a very good restaurant and also a beach bar with sunbeds and with an extraordinary view. The fruits they gave with the breakfast were very tasty
The Maisha Nungwi was a wonderful place to start our honeymoon! The people were extraordinary, friendly and helpful. The Beach Bar/Restaurant is awesome, the food is great, the view is beautiful
I definitely recommend staying at Maisha. Calm location and close to Nungwi beach and central area. Clean rooms and amazing service
One of the highlights is the excellent location, very close to Nungwi Beach, which made it easy to spend time by the beach and fully enjoy the surroundings
That said, overall it is a good hotel with great service, location, and atmosphere, especially for couples looking for a relaxing beachside stay
The hotel has a great ambience, along with a lovely pool and well‑maintained amenities, making the stay relaxing and enjoyable

If you’re looking for a stress free holiday, just book your stay here and let them take care of the rest. You will leave with amazing memories and a big smile on your face. Stevie, Stefano and more were amazing
We cannot commend this resort enough! It was an absolute fabulous stay and Julius the Manager is absolutely amazing! Amazing food and ambience! A resort well maintained and well run!
The only slight disappointment was the cost of the cocktails and beer - double what the beach bars charge which is a shame because we would have enjoyed several at the poolside! That said, we would definitely return here again if we came back to Zanzibar and highly recommend to anyone looking for a perfect hotel in Paje
Fabulous hotel in lovely location. Rooms are individual bungalows some with private pools. The staff are amazing - thanks especially to Frank. Food was delicious
The room is perfect and a couple of meters from the ocean. We had the villa with the pool which is a strong plus. Bathroom has a large bath and shower. The beach has white sand and there is a security guy around 24/7
What I really liked was the small scale and how the staff knew your name and took a great effort to fullfill your personal needs. It was so clean and beautiful and the rooms and bathrooms are spacious
The grounds are lush with well planted trees and shrubs. The main pool area is quite large and beautifully landscaped. They could use a few more loungers. The second smaller pool overlooks the beach
A beautiful hotel, the room was incredible, the pool was very nice, the only drawback is that it doesn't have a beach, because the water inside the hotel isn't pretty
Very good hotel, full of privacy and comfort. The hotel has a super good swimming pool and a large space. You can swim and dine in the hotel. There are different programs every night, singing and dancing, etc
On the last day we were moved to a different bungalow with a private pool. This room was equally spacious and comfortable. And having our own pool was a treat. Breakfast was included with our room
There was a small buffet and a good sized menu to choose from. We especially enjoyed the tuna eggs benedict. We also enjoyed lunch around the pool. One of our favourites was the tuna tartar
There is food/drink service at both. The beach at the hotel is not a swimming beach. To compensate for that the resort also offers a shuttle service to a nearby beach three times a day
Mjini Magharibi Region, Jambiani, Mwenda Wima, Jambiani 🧭 Map
Really nice beach so peaceful in the mornings during the day there is the odd seller trying to push tours but nothing like stone Town and Nungwi so many bars and restaurants with direct beach access
5/5 one of the best affordable accommodation out there located infronf of the beach it was so nice to be there the staff where so helpful the breakfast was so Good to be included
If you visit anywhere in zanzibar put jambiani on the list
Satisfied, the front desk was very welcoming
I felt very safe walking alone but anytime ai needed a ride, Gray got me a driver. A/C, bottled water, internet, all good

The hotel is very nice but is starting to look a little tired in places. The swimming pool and beach are lovely and it's a very relaxing place to be. The food I'm afraid is not good
THE POOL Beautifully clean with ample sunbeds and parasols. No deep end, so really safe, too. THE SPA Predominantly for a large selection of massages, but what massages they were. The best I've ever experienced
This resort in Zanzibar is perfect for honeymooners and relaxing by the pool. It is centrally located for excursions. It has an excellent resturant accessed by a long boardwalk over the changing tides
The staff are very friendly and attentive to your needs
At $110 dollars for two it's quite expensive but we were on the half board basis so we each had $35 dollars towards our meal. The seafood platter was ok but overcooked and it should have been fabulous
That evening we went to the pier restaurant and it is so lovely there but the food lets it down. It was my friend's birthday and the owner of the hotel suggested we have the seafood platter
Nice place considering the price. I had to switch rooms because the air conditioning didn't work. Location was great, right on the beach.
As far as I can tell it's the cheapest place that you are looking at the beach off the porch or balcony. I paid 30$ for a room with a fan and an AC room costs 40$
+ Great location and not very expensive. +Beach is really good, swimming even at low tide possible. - Standard breakfast: toast and omelet
Beautiful spot, overlooks the ocean. Hot showers, fresh breakfast (fruits, juice, tea or coffee, eggs and toast), and very kind staff. The restaurant in front of it is AMAZING too. Our group loved it.
I have peeked at other rooms that are nice but my room is unsophisticated ( no nightstands there is a space for a wardrobe but not one there!) Not dingy though and cleaned every day. The bathroom is a little lacking
There are renovated rooms, as well as old rooms. Some rooms have a refrigerator, some rooms do not. The air conditioner is located directly above the bed, and the blanket is a sheet

I mentioned that I love seafood and my wife is vegetarian, and they went above and beyond to take care of us. Every meal felt thoughtful and personalized, and we felt truly looked after
My husband and I stayed at Sensations for 2 weeks and we were absolutely blown away!! The resort itself is stunning and incredibly well maintained, the staff are some of the friendliest we have encountered and they all go out their way to make your stay memorable
Everything was spotless and very well maintained, and we truly appreciated how careful the staff were with daily spraying to keep mosquitoes and other insects away — it made a big difference and made us feel very comfortable
At one point we had an issue with a local situation outside the hotel, and the team rushed immediately to help us, making us feel safe and supported — that meant a lot to us
It was unforgettable and made the trip 100% special. Pardeep honestly made our trip so much better — his care, professionalism, and kindness elevated the entire experience
Our stay at Sensation Hotel was beyond amazing — truly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome

Yes, the beach nearby isn’t postcard perfect and is sludgy when the tide goes out, but the resort itself has an elevated sand area for sunbathing, and you don’t get hassled by beach sellers! Moreover, we had no other tourists walking past, so we truly felt like we were in paradise, secluded from the world
Stayed in Marafiki Bungalows for 3 nights. Amazing place, very hood service from all staff +reception, clean and comfy Bungalow, great pool ,bar and tasty breakfast
We stayed here for 5 nights and had a lovely time! Good food, plenty of options for meals. Lovely pool, nice small beach area which is suitable for swimming at certain times of the days
The beach on this side(east) is affected more by the tide, 5 minutes ride and you are at Kinengwa beach, one of the best in the world
Rooms very nice, spacious, lots of comfortable outdoor seating (both private with the rooms and around the pool, beach). Particularly loved the bush babies who you could see and hear when it was dark!
We visited at shoulder season, so there was plenty of pool chairs to choose from. This is a hotel that you would choose if you want to enjoy a quite, smaller resort with a pool and good food
Mjini Magharibi Region, Pwani Mchangani, Pwani Beach 🧭 Map
Our room was spacious and offered all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. The food at Sofia Sea View hotel was excellent. Every meal was delicious, and we enjoyed each one
Amazing place to be!!! Staff so kind located directly on the beach is it a paradise.
An Unforgettable Experience in Zanzibar
My partner and I were lucky enough to spend three days at this beautiful hotel overlooking the sea, in the heart of the village of Pwani Mchangani
The pool was great for cooling off as the beach was not as clean as we would have liked. The seaweed harvesting was interesteng to watch & also the "planting' of a new harvest during our stay
Thanks to Natty, Lily, Davide, Zuhura, Thelma & the gardener (sorry forgot his name) Apologies for any names misspelt!! We definitely recommend Sofia Sea View for those travelers who are looking for a quiet break with great food etc
The atmosphere of this place is magical: the hotel, small and intimate, is perfect for those seeking peace and authenticity. Every detail is well thought out, and the view of the sea is simply breathtaking
