Amazing views. Surrounded by beach front. Good restaurant and lovely rooms. Its a bit remote but worth the drive. Two swimming pools. Boat excursions to local island sites. Reasonable prices and nice staff.

The property is about 1hr 30mins from Zanzibar town, however is spacious and great place to relax. They have a private beach and the water is turquoise and white sand

Looks like a dream and with prices in the lover end. Hakuna matata is words people live by here and the service does aswell. Super helpful people working here, and they're willing to do anything to help you

Downside: the restaurant, which had high prices for the quality of the food, the location is far from the closest village and you need to drive there. Overall I'd say it's a good place to stay

This review is at least 10 years late, but Google pics me took down memory lane when we visited the hotel's restaurant back in 2015, we preferred to eat here as opposed to the Double Tree Hotel we were staying that was about a few meters away (pity it's now closed) but the food was absolutely phenomenal, I vividly remember the lady chef (hopefully she's still there) served us like absolute royalty...

One of the most beautiful beaches in Zanzibar. White sand between coconut trees and amazing tourquize colors of the Indian Ocean. Very good Asiatic menue, and most importantly lovely welcoming team

Everything about this resort was great, accommodation was very good, big room, with a great shower / bathroom. The food was good, enjoyed the different culture food every night

Rooms clean and comfy - basic, but what more do you need? It's a beach resort with great weather, so I was only in the room to sleep and shower anyway! Our room was very spacious too

The a la carte restaurant (additional cost) makes more Western style meals too. The food is good, not excellent but not terrible. Normal buffet I guess! All inclusive drinks menu is fairly extensive

I was disappointed with the pool and rocky beach so was not able to enjoy. Otherwise would highly recommend

I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Stone Town. It is close to all the attractions. There is a wonderful restaurant on the roof with a view, where it is always cool. There is a swimming pool and a coffee shop

Room was small but ok for our one night stay. Airconditioning and wifi worked well. Bed was too hard, at least for us. Breakfast was quite ok but service at breakfast was not. Nice, small pool in the garden

A safe refuge in a chaotic island The stay was very lovely compared to the surrounding parts of Zanzibar. You sometimes forgot there was a world outside the resort. The staff was very respectful and helpful

The hotel is directly located on a sandy white quite beach which felt more like a private one with sun beds

What a special place this was for our visit to Zanzibar. Zawadi brought us joy and comfort each and every moment. The meals served were creative yet authentic to the local and seasonal sources

My wife and I stayed at Zawadi for 5 nights from the 25th-30th November this year and it was nothing short of spectacular. The villa was amazing, everything looked and felt new and it was always kept immaculately clean

Every bite was blissful especially their decadent desserts. Most of all, the staff made you feel so welcomed and at home. Every single interaction with them was personal. Personal for us and personal for them

The lunch and dinner menus changed daily and I only wish I could have eaten more! If you are looking for somewhere to stay I cannot recommend Zawadi enough, our only mistake - is that we didn’t stay longer

Amazing location in a chilled beach, lots of spots around to chill, lots of green, good food and excellent breakfast, hot shower, rustic clean rooms with daily housekeeping, hammocks, sand all around without concrete, which is amazing because you really feel you live on the beach

Our room was extremely dark, and the floor was no straight at all. So much that one side of the bed was 10 cm higher was than the other side. When you are 2 people in the bed. Beach vibe and outside was nice

We are just back from a fabulous 9 day stay (should have been 7 but issues around the gulf meant we stayed a further 2 days). From the start entering reception we had a lovely warm welcome

This spacious suite had also a bath room with a bath tub and shower as well. Additionally it also had a terrace. Outside you have a community pool and the restaurant as well

Room was good, but there is no wifi there, only in the reception and restaurant/pool. Be aware it is a non-alcoholic bar, so having a drink by the pool is not possible

Stayed here last October and service and attention to detail was amazing. Hence why we returned this January. A simple thing for an asthmatic like me was to request a pillow that was foam or synthetic

The answer I got was sorry don’t have but if you get an attack we can take you to a hospital. How absurd! Standards have dropped. I had to ask for a plate four times before I got one at breakfast

Very close to the ferry to Dar es Salaam. The hotel building is very historic. The room is large and the sea view is right outside the window. The breakfast is rich. The restaurant is on the balcony facing the sea.

I didn't understand why, it was awkward. But the rest of the hotel is wonderful. You can look at the artifacts that the hotel is full of for a long time. There is a swimming pool and even a fountain
