Great hotel, excellent food, amazing staff. Nice and big room well decorated. Direct on the beach, high standard services compared with some other hotel.

It is a beautiful place in paradise where you find peace, if you are looking for it. The 6 rooms make it very familiary. The rooms are like on the picture. My room with ocean view and hammock was fantastic

The staff was very kind and the food was really great, although it took over one hour to get served (understandable, since we ordered grilled seafood for everyone)

Such a lovely hotel to stay at away from the busy Paje area. Super relaxing and comfortable stay, right in front of the beach. Josephine, Bona, and the all the staff were extremely helpful and super kind

The staff was wonderful and the food great

The bungalows are 30 seconds from the beach, where you can see the sunset, there is an all-night bar from midday to 7am, at sunset a fire is lit, we did not hear any noise from our bungalow

The mpole bungalows, is a quiet charming place to stay, it has a small swimming pool, set within a garden with fruit trees and swinging day beds. It has a small restaurant, and bar

We had fantastic stay for one night with our family. Mnana have unbelievable amazing sea view, rooms is big and 5 star standard. Swimming pool was great as well. Staff friendly and helpful. Thank you Mnana!

The hotel is very well located and very close to the beach. The staff is extremely friendly, always smiling and helpful, and the manager is also very kind

Went to lounge by the pool and have their prawn curry, which was excellent. Friendly staff and a great view of the ocean!

Good facilities pool, massage, water equipment etc. Breakfast, lunch,dinner all good, ample buffet selections. Good range of cocktails, beers are nice, wine small selection

We had a 3 night stay, half board, family 2 adults and 2 kids, we absolutely loved it and highly recommend it.

There’s not a lot of food around, so my friend and I walked ten minutes down the beach to Waikiki Hotel for dinner on two different occasions

Great value for the money spent. The rooms are huge and the beach cannot be beat

Surfescape is the best surfhouse in Zanzibar hands down. The place is very chilled, personnel super friendly, room is spacious and cleaned every day. The watersport has great instructors and the kite spot just amazing

If you walk out of the gates of the hotel, and head 5 minutes to the right, there is a small stand where you can buy water and snacks for a portion of the cost that Surfscape charges

My first impression was that it is a little tired and would benefit from some refurbishment (there are signs that rooms are being ungraded) but the simple fact is that everything is there, everything is clean and tidy, everything works although hot water can be a bit hit or miss and really, when you're sitting on a sunbed, beer in hand, watching monkeys in the trees and dhows sailing by, how can you...

I asked for a explanation about the excursions, and they didn’t even mention it, I needed to ask more than on time but then, I decided to do it, with local people who approached us on the beach, with good reviews on internet , who I highly recommend to! They didn’t clean our bedroom, nor even the floor or change the towels every day, we did ask for that, but the ladies didn’t do it

Just by the Indian ocean! Where the crystal clear water meets the horizon of the breathtaking sunrise. The turquoise colour of the ocean brings a gorgeous smile and feeling. Please share my experience

Unfortunately, this is only bad for them ! Because we loved the island, and the people we met there :) we didn’t let that stupefy our time there. And we hope you guys have a better stay than us ! Kind regards :)

In the second day, we went late for the breakfast as we were so tired and because of a question of time, they didn’t serve the breakfast, only coffees, because I asked for , and they did it in a rudely way

If you're looking for a unique place with a lot of history (1st guest house in Zanzibar) and you just need a room with breakfast and no frills then this is the place

The decor is very unique, creative and beautiful. We stayed here a few times and it kept getting better. Some of the rooms are a little musty, but I think a bit mold is hard to avoid in Stone Town

Also, it's next to a fish market and sometimes is a bit fishy smelling and noisy, but it didn't bother us much :) it's a great place for a great price

Mahmoud was such a friendly host! He went out of his way to help us out and even let us store a bag for a week as we toured the island

Location wise Paje needs an improvement as the beach is not the prestine white sand as there are seaweed everywhere but that's not the fault of the hotel. The food here was super very nice high quality

There is no gym onsite but runs along the beach are good. There is a jetty when the tides out you can walk to a prestine island a few metres wide

We spent an unforgettable Christmas holiday at Villa Serenity, staying 6 nights in the beachfront private pool villa with my family. The experience was absolutely wonderful from start to finish

A 20 min walk on the beach at low tide to nungwi. The resort itself is small but very nice. No AC and wifi only in lobby but friendly intelligent staff and complete relaxation

He walked from the northern hotel down the beach, arrived there. Talked like 3-4 minutes with somebody from the stuff. He left us quite a positive impression

Kipepeo Lodge on Zanzibar beach has unique position and its own personal - great chef, girls for cleaning, gardener and night guard, all were great, very kind and helpful.

A great place with great people. The villa has 5 bedrooms so my family fit in well. Some updating of the house may change the ambiance!

This lodge is the best kept secret in Zanzibar. Own little beach ⛱️ with daily reef walks. Do not skip the reed walk

The location is like stolen from a vacation travel brochure. On the East Coast which gives tide impact is substantial. Good or bad is another question. The pool areas are quite amazing and spacious enough

The private pool had been recently repainted and the white paint would come off on your skin, which was gross. There were a TON of bugs everywhere

The private villas are pretty for sure and good for instagram, but a super far walk from the beach (like 20 minutes)

Their tourguide Hassan offers really nice tours, we booked him on the tours we did there. Michamwi has the softest white sand and the beaches are not overcrowded by tourists and salespersons

Clean, friendly, cozy athmosphere, comfortable, nice food, very near to the beach, good WiFi, they have a lovely dog who likes to join you for a walk to the beach

The OASIS between all the resorts, bungalow to yourself. Talib the owner was just amazing, huge breakfast every morning with our incredible Fahad and company

We spent time with them at night on the chill out area, music, little puppies and also Red colobus monkey comes to have breakfast with you if youre lucky

Out of all our Airbnb amd accomodations this one is the best and we are very sad to leave. Thank you so much for the incredible service

This place is gorgeous, and the staff are really lovely locals. We wanted to stay in places that are run by locals rather than the big hotels that are usually owned by foreign businesses

Plus, the bungalow is super comfortable and the setting is magic, nestled in nature with lovely trees and plants all around. Breakfasts are fantastic, they’re everything you could need
