The bungalow we booked was more like an interior courtyard, not the resort setting I had expected. This is a very kid-friendly hotel, highly recommend for those with children aged 6/7 and under. The back gate offers quick access to Kata Beach. The only downside is that the room is a bit small, but you can ask the front desk to set up the sofa bed! Overall, it's very good.

Sugar Palms is a beautiful hotel. A quick 5 min walk to the beach which is amazing!!! The pools are wonderful with different bed/chair options. Breakfast has an assortment of different options. One thing to note the last block to the hotel is up a steep hill so not easily accessible for people with mobility issues.

Nice clean hotel, great location, great breakfast. Only negative and it’s a negative to take into account if you have any mobility concerns is the fact that the hotel is built on a hill. As an dissadvanage it is location for drivers, be prepared some taxi will not deliver you to the hotel door, because the road to tge top is extrimely steep. But, all the rest advantages are overweghted this road trouble. We will stay here next time.

Love the location of this hotel as it is situated off the main road, which tends to be rather noisy with many tourists from evening to night. You definitely can have a good night sleep in this hotel. Better than I expected. The bellboy and the front desk staff were quite friendly and enthusiastic. My room was on the 3rd floor, in the middle section, and I was very happy with the view. It was also quite close to the beach. The only downside is that the price was a bit high, over 700.

Had a great time at the Resort. It is a good location. The staff were amazing. They were always very helpful and friendly. The pool was fantastic and very refreshing. The rooms was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning had everything you would want.

Hotel is very beautiful In terms of all the hardware, building and facilities. The pool is amazing. It somehow feels a-bit of lacking from a 5-star in the small details eg toiletries, mattress and bedding, cleanliness of the room can be improved.

A decent, clean hotel. It's very conveniently located just off the main street, one block back, with the beach nearby. There's no street noise. I didn't experience anything negative.

We rented the hotel for one night, so we had no complaints. But! We wouldn't have stayed longer. Our room had no windows (at all), but in the morning we discovered a door to a mini-balcony, which made things nicer.
