Located on Kata Beach Second Road, it's a bit of a walk to the beach, but the hotel service is excellent, there are plenty of dining options nearby, and the ground-floor rooms have direct pool access! It's also not far to walk to the Cliff Cafe!

On arrival really impressed, however once you look closer it is well used ( which is a positive) but starting to look a bit tired.  Good location. Swim up room a bonus. Sugar Palms is a beautiful hotel. A quick 5 min walk to the beach which is amazing!!! The pools are wonderful with different bed/chair options. Breakfast has an assortment of different options. One thing to note the last block to the hotel is up a steep hill so not easily accessible for people with mobility issues.

Nice clean hotel, great location, great breakfast. Only negative and it’s a negative to take into account if you have any mobility concerns is the fact that the hotel is built on a hill. Super satisfied! Everything was fantastic except for the big slope at the entrance. They have a pool where you can sunbathe. It's a shame I only had 4 days in Phuket; I wish I could've stayed longer. And the sea view was absolutely amazing!

We expected more from this hotel. Our room wasn't comfortable, and the sounds of passing traffic were extremely noisy at night. There were insects in the bed linens, and the room was damp. I'd like to mention the good breakfasts and convenient enclosed parking for bikes and cars. The panoramic view was also a delight.

The hotel not really in good location. The beach is about 15 minutes walking but it’s very small beach, no way to sit and relax. The room smell bad , not clean and the staff didn’t are about it . We left the room early in the morning and returned back about 6 PM and it wasn’t clean. Breakfast didn’t include enough option like cheese, vegetables for those didn’t eat Thai food in the morning.
