Two big comfortable beds for a family of 4. Location is great to go around. Our taxi by Grab to Khaosan road is about 55-65 baht per trip. Even cheaper and faster by bike taxi. We love swimming pool, great for little kids. Definitely come back to stay here next trip. Thank you.
This is my second stay here, and I find it incredibly comfortable. The room is spacious, and there's a 7-Eleven right across from the hotel. The front desk staff are very helpful; even though there was a language barrier, they were all very patient and communicated with us effectively. It's a highly recommended hotel, and I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.
The hotel has its upsides: spacious rooms, and a family room with two 1.5-meter beds, which is a rare find in Bangkok. I booked a family room with breakfast and free cancellation for 600 RMB during Chinese New Year, and it even had a balcony – all definite pluses! It's a good choice for families with kids, especially if the price is right.
However, the downsides are also pretty clear: the facilities...
The hotel was as displayed in the pictures and descriptions. Very nice pool for swimming and very friendly staff. T
The hotel is located in Bangkok's Old Town. The hallways had a strong odor, but the breakfast and pool were good, and the beds in the family room were large enough. However, the room facilities were old, and the staff weren't very enthusiastic; they expected a tip for helping with luggage. Overall, it's good value for money.
Great for work day. The room comes with comfy recliner, dedicated workspace, couch and a tub for warm bath. This is my choice of stay every 2 weeks. Food is great. Pool is great. Front office offers good service.

great pool, great customer service, quite a big deposit tho
Good location. Big lobby. Have outdoor seat, can enjoy nice views. Have swimming pool. This my favourite hotel in Bangkok. Halal food a lot nearby
The accommodations were satisfactory and conveniently located for travel purposes.
The room is not too bad for the price, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. However, the bathroom had a strong sewage smell, and it seemed like the exhaust wasn’t working properly. There’s also no window for ventilation in the bathroom, and I noticed cobwebs in both the room and the bathroom. The location is decent, with restaurants nearby, which is convenient.
The room had a fridge and a hairdryer, which was a plus. There was also a full-length mirror, and the hot water and water pressure were both good and strong.
I booked for my friends and they enjoy stying there for their first ever trip to Bangkok

The room was quite old and very dated furniture. The hallway and elevator has no AC. Very hot and old hotel. All dark. No washing machine. No facilities available. Renovation. At night sounds of musŵic is very loud. Sometimes if you press wrong floor to 9th or something the whole floor is like disaster like ******* hotel and place. Its like one of the oldest dated hotel ive ever stayed. Only the...
Amazing location, heart of bkk, clean spacious rooms, 4 bottles of water automatically stocked in the fridge everyday!
This is a very good choice for taking a walk to Ploenchit zone, or even take sky train to other places. Additional to that, it is nearby Velaa which has choices of food and even supermarket. Overall room setup is good and cozy. Recommended.
I stayed at this hotel twice. The 1st time, they gave me a nice room with a nice view. There were only two things that upset me a little: the shower temperature wasn't good and there were parties on the 1st floor, but my floor was quite. So I was fine with it, because view and location were nice.
But the second time, they gave me a different room, without a nice view and with cockroaches😩
And the shower...
Hi Trip.com,
I was super happy with The Duchess Hotel even if the gym and restaurant is not available during my stay.
This hotel truly became my home away from home during my stay of more than two weeks. The room (1706) is beautifully designed and very comfortable, with a spacious kitchen, living, and dining area combined, plus a lovely bedroom and a very nice bathroom. It has everything you need...
The front desk staff were all very friendly and cheerful. Our corner deluxe suite was spacious and bright, truly an ideal haven to return to after exploring the city all day. Since there was no breakfast service, we made our own simple breakfast in the room – eggs, fruit, and bread bought from a nearby supermarket. The suite had a full set of kitchenware. The only slight downside was that the swimming...

The location of the hotel is great. The breakfast is very enjoyable. Different dishes were served throughout our stay. The pool area is awesome too! The room we booked was comfortable but it definitely could use a slight upgrade in terms of facilities. A couple hand towels, cleaner room and bathroom, for example, could make ones stay a little more cozy.
Great location. The hotel is tucked away from the busy area of BKK - would highly recommend. Great breakfast and friendly staff.
just the best area to be in bangkok. close to MRT and BTS and full of shopping places. in the back big park to relax after a busy day in bangkok.
The room is not really what it seems. It’s an affordable option. If you’re looking for a 1-night stay then it’s ok. Any longer it’s not advisable
Location is great. But facilities are very old and malfunctions. For examples, both bedside sockets are malfunctions.
And hotel would not refresh towels and sanity automatically. Need to call front desk everyday to get them.
And would not have extra bottle water. They want you earn you every money.
An adequate place to rest your head. Rooms are really small. And has a smell...but the staff tries their best. Especially the room servixe. Staff at breakfast need to be more customer oriented...maybe smile ocassional and say good morning maybe. Wishful thinking perhaps. Stayed there more than a week....and felt not welcome in the breakfast table...hmm...maybe my imagination.
The best thing is SW1...

The hotel is overall good and offers solid value for money. One of the highlights is the 24/7 coffee shop downstairs, which has reasonable prices and serves both food and drinks. It’s very convenient at any time of the day.

Located in a very busy area, the staff are nice. Breakfast is a bit below average and they kept running out of eggs, have to queue for the coffee/tea machine, sometimes there aren’t enough table for everyone. The rooms are a bit old. Security helps you load your luggage and flag taxis for you
Location of hotel in corner of soi away from bts station. Noise at night is inevitable with the hustle and bustle, avoid if you’re a light sleeper. Breakfast was mediocre. Showers causing the floor to be wet, should have a door separated with the toilet.
Stayed 1 night stopping over in Bangkok. Good location with plenty bars & restaurants nearby. Hotel room spacious & breakfast was good. Very reasonably priced. Would stay again.
It’s the 4th time I stay this hotel in the past 6 yrs, the location is still great, convenient to live, 2-min walk to 7-11 with rich merchandise to buy. Cool 24hrs restaurant besides lobby is impressed. Beautiful view, standard room is fit for 2 , clean and great service and nice staff
Great hotel! Rooms are well equipped location is fantastic, breakfast is rich.
They have pool, laundry, massage, gym, everything you need.
We stayed here for a week, enjoyed it very muc
Exceeded expectations! Mostly Western guests, excellent breakfast, and a great pool. What really stood out was the complimentary afternoon snacks, like cakes, available on the 8th floor for those using the gym or pool.
Stayed in 1BR Suite w Balcony and Pool View with an infant. Overall room was good, but to note that the baby cot 'mattress' was slightly thin as it was a rolled up blanket/comforter.
Location was a positive as it is very near to the BTS. There is also a 7-11 at the main road, which makes it super convenient for a quick run. Truly enjoyed the stay.

Love this hotel so much! Due to some reason, they freely upgraded my room to a larger one. The location was good, easy to access the nearest BTS station, and 7-11 is nearby the hotel. Everything is perfect!!

Perfect place to stay and relax. We stayed here for 4 nights, it’s really clean and equipped with all the amenities( including clean swimming pool and Gym). The hotel is just a few steps away from the Famous MBK Mall and Siam area( near the city center).Hotel staff is very friendly and welcoming( very good in English too) Would love to stay again if get another chance. it's good and clean, wifi works perfectly. But the location is so far from everything I wanted to see in Bangkok, metro is 25min walk tho. We always have to ask them for water they don't give more than a bottle per day/person.
Location is a little far from city centre, but it is quite near to airport. Supper spots located within stone’s throw from the hotel. A few 7-11 within 100m range. Do take note you definitely have to call grab bike or car to move around the location.
Check in was smooth. Room was nice. Good location. Not much more I could want.
Great hotel for the price , clean and very good
I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again
My car repair took an extra day longer than planned, so I found this hotel right next to the dealership. It's a bit far from the city center, but there are plenty of dining options nearby and ample parking. The room itself was pretty standard; there was enough space for one person and a 30-inch suitcase. Overall, the value for money was decent.
Love the place. Worth money and friendly staffs. The room is big and wifi connect is good. There’re so many food stalls nearby, as well as 7-11, big c and local food. 15 bath bike ride to sena nikom bts and kasetsart u bts.

It was a very pleasant stay and I would definitely stay again.
Good location. But this time need improvement about smell at lobby area. Room size is good.
Excellent value and very convenient! A bit of a walk from BTS Thong Lo station (too hot to walk in summer!), but the free shuttle bus solves that problem perfectly. The area is fantastic with a supermarket, massage, onsen, and many restaurants nearby. Highly recommended for the price!
Looks abit dated but has everything you need for a stay, including a good size fridge, microwave oven and dish washing area. Bed is nice and big. It is also near to a lot of clubs and bars with late nice japanese supper restaurant available. Hotel staff are very friendly and ready to accommodate request whenever possible.
Its a spacey and comfortable property for long stays. Conveniently located around restaurants, foodland and pharmacy. Easy drop off to BTS. But the return pick timing should be available until 9 pm.
I love the size of the rooms in this hotel. Great location in Thong lo. The shower in my room didn’t get very hot. I had a better two bedroom room during another stay. Despite this I will probably stay again.

My favorite hotel in Bangkok. Kind of a hidden gem. Located in a local not-touristy neighborhood, but in walkin distanceg distance to Silom, MRT. Place is very clean and comfortable, amazing breakfast, and nice pool. Many local restaurants around
Perfect for solo travellers who wants to have local vibe, privacy as well as adequate amount of socialising.
Was my second stay, this time was not that nice cause cleaning staff didn’t make the room after 1st night and at the 2nd morning they were talking loud in front of my door at 8:30am.
The rooms are very big and clean, with good AC. The gym was the highlight. Compact but well-equipped which made for a great workout.

Excellent location — walking distance to the metro station and there’s a Michelin Star restaurant across the hotel. The only issue we had was soundproofing — we could hear the traffic, and people from the hallways and doors banging. The room was small too, but...
The hotel is well-maintained and the staff are warm and attentive. For peak season, the price is quite reasonable. Right across from the hotel are a Michelin-recommended noodle shop and a 7-Eleven. It's also a short walk to the BTS station, making transportation very convenient.
First off, the location is great – lively yet peaceful, and it's super convenient for finding food and taking the light rail. Secondly, the room wasn't small and was very clean. Every day when we returned, the room had already been tidied up spotless by the staff. The service and their attitude were very friendly and approachable. I'd definitely stay here again next time.
The location is excellent, very close to BTS Phrom Phong Station. Rong Tiao restaurant is right across the street and next door, just a short walk away. The fridge is restocked daily with complimentary mineral water, sodas, and beer. The only drawbacks are that the washing machine's dryer function doesn't work, and there should be a non-slip mat in the bathtub to prevent falls.

Rather far in away from the streets. Near MRT phrom phong and thong lor. Shuttle tuktuk services helped a lot but on most days we take grab bike so it wasn’t too bad. Walking/running out is fine too. Room was clean, service was good. No environmental noise as well, we had a pleasant stay. Gym was small though.
The room was warm & comfy. Staff was friendly. Good service. But parking area and breakfast are quite limited.
You don't want to stay here if you're looking for a quiet hotel. You can hear the next door neighbors talking while you're in your room, whoever comes and go in the alley and motorbikes on the road. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else a room with better sound isolation. I could've been an ******* and kept the TV up all night but I didn't. Don't put yourself in this position.
I stayed here for four nights. Many reviews mentioned the hotel's remote and inconvenient location. It's true that it's nestled in a quiet alley within a wealthy Sukhumvit neighborhood, so the location itself isn't an issue, and it's suitable for longer stays. It's quite far from tourist attractions, and the alleys in Sukhumvit are winding and don't connect well, which can be troublesome if you're...

The front desk service was excellent, and they even spoke Chinese which was a great help. The lobby and coffee bar have a very stylish design. I really liked the room's aesthetic; the quality felt good. Overall, it's pretty good value for money. I ended up staying for two nights.
