The hostess was wonderful and kind-hearted. The location is excellent, close to the night market and the old town. The room is, admittedly, a bit tired, but it has everything you need: a fan, shower, toilet, and a comfortable bed with a firm mattress. The price is definitely a selling point. I stayed for 3 nights. It's really just for sleeping.

The hotel has a really good location. The rooms are simple and not the coziest. However, the interior design is very interesting and you could spend a long time admiring it.

Stayed 6 nights and it was very comfy and one of the best hotel I ever stayed in Chiang Mai, close to the Kad Luang market by a 5 minutes walk and a 10 minutes convenient walk to Tha Phae Gate and into the old city, will come back to stay again and highly recommended!!

This quirky hotel offers great value for money. The front area has lots of vintage items including Vespa's. They have a fridge in reception they let you leave personal food/drink in.
The lady on the front desk was very friendly and nice to deal with. Also allowed us to check in much earlier due to the room being ready. We rented a good condition scooter from her for a fair price.
The room was quiet and comfortable and had enough for the price.
The location was good and just a 10 minute walk from the night bizzar and local food markets. Overall we really enjoyed staying here and would definitely stay again in the future.

Such an amazing place to stay! The staff are so kind and the hotel is in a great area just a few minutes walk from the centre of the city. The only downside is that there is no hot water, however with such warm weather it isnt much of a problem. Would 100% stay here again when i next visit.

I really like the place. Location was very good room good bed is so nice I love the bed room clean hotel people were so friendly nice lobby is so nice good decorating l really suggest this place . Room was quiet too

A great place! As a hostel, having a private bathroom for this price is fantastic. I didn't encounter any people smoking **** here. The lady at the front desk was very kind and enthusiastic, offering a lot of help.

Very basic but perfect if you’re just looking for a place to sleep and shower! The staff were extremely friendly and allowed us to keep our bags there after check out. A very quick walk to the one gate in Chiang Mai. Very close to a 7 eleven, laundromat and lots of coffee shops.

I booked for my friend with her child. When they check in, hotel staff said they have not received info child including. So they ask to stay unbooked room and more ask 200 B. Next day, they ask move again to booked room.

Trace Hotelistro blew me away! The hotel design, the chill vibes, and the amazing staff were all incredible, and I wish we could have stayed longer than just one night.
Our room couldn't have been more perfect. The bed was so comfy that we didn't even want to go out to explore, and the balcony was an awesome bonus. The staff were also some of the nicest people we've encountered at any hotel, so we will be recommending this place to everyone we meet. If you stay, make sure to get smoothie bowl in the morning, because they are out-of-this-world amazing. I got the Lychee berry one and can 100% recommend it.

Great community feel here, with great Smoothie Bowls and Thai-inspired cocktails! The rooms are super comfortable and minimalist which is what you need in Chiang Mai. Close to everything so relevance. Definitely 5 stars!!

I had a great time at Trace. Everything was just perfect. The bedrooms are very clean, and so beuatiful! It is a quite place, with a lovely staff. Trace is close to the night bazaar. They also have Smoothie bowls and cocktails that are just amazing! If you are going to Chiang Mai, i would definitely recommend to stay in Trace Hotelistro.

We went for a cocktail night, but we couldn't resist to try their amazing smoothie bowls! Make yourself a favour and try the snickers smoothie bowl, it's so good! 😍 The environment is super cozy and picturesque and the bartender was really nice. The prices are affordable. The cocktails are super different of what we are used to, but that's what made the experience so fun at this bar! My favourite cocktail was the "Miss..." (the orange one), with a strong cinnamon flavour. The cocktails' presentation was so beautiful (as you can see by the photos). Totally recommend!

The design here is beautiful. It feels rustic and contemporary, as the owner converted a 150 year old bakery into a hostel. If you're looking for a place that has character, look no further. The quaint jazz bar and restaurant below are an added bonus. In between the night bazaar and the old city, it is an ideal location.
