Terrible. It was the worst night of our two-and-a-half-month trip through Thailand and India. We woke up in the middle of the night because there were cockroaches crawling all over us. The reaction: "Oh, I sent housecleaning to pick them up..." The location is fine. But judging by what I read on Google, we weren't the only ones who encountered cockroaches. It seems that either everyone else slept through it, or a few rooms were just unlucky. Definitely never again.

This hotel has been beautifully renovated. I was so lucky to stay here! The reception staff were incredibly friendly, and the location was perfect: right in front of Chang Puak Night Market and within walking distance of Old Town. The area was bright and well-lit, which was a plus. Since it had been renovated, I didn't see a single bug, and it was incredibly clean. It was my first time staying in a room without even an ant, which was truly impressive. There's a 1,000 baht deposit. There's a smoking area outside. Because it's a sunflower-like building, I couldn't use the filtered showerhead. But it wasn't inconvenient. There's a bathtub, good drainage, and no noise issues. There's also an elevator, quiet air conditioning, and the room has a mirror and vanity, making it incredibly comfortable. There were plenty of outlets, even USB ports. I was passing by and the hotel's exterior was so pretty that I stayed for three days, and I want to stay here again. I also had the opportunity to meet the owner, and I was impressed by his constant attention to detail and dedication to making things convenient. The meticulous attention to detail in the renovation was palpable, and it was so clean that I could almost believe it was newly built. It was the best experience I've ever had. I highly recommend it.

Don’t book at this hotel. It was the worst experience. It started with a cold shower and a bed so hard, it felt like stone. Even after all this we still wanted to give it a try. So we went to bed. Our room was at the 4th floor and we heard the mouses walking and peeping in the ceiling and in the walls. So we could not sleep. We went downstairs to ask for another room but no one was there. We slept for like 1/2 hours with the lights on so the mouses would be less noisy. We decided to book another hotel. When we checked out no one was there. We tried to contact them, but we never got a response.

🪳 AVOID THIS PLACE! THERE ARE A LOT OF COCKROACHES HERE! 🪳 The managers know and don’t care, and they are incredibly blunt.

When we checked in, we were planning to stay for 5 nights and paid for it (9,450 baht total, which is 1,890 baht per night). At night, when we came back from a walk, I went to take a shower, and 4 massive cockroaches ran out of my towel! Later, we saw 10 more around the room! We couldn’t sleep all night because of that.

The next morning, we tried to check out and get our money back. We spent around an hour doing this, but the manager explained that the price had changed because we only stayed one night, and the rate for a single night is higher (3,400 baht), even though it wasn’t our fault for leaving earlier than planned. The managers were blunt and didn’t even offer an apology. Hopefully, we won’t bring the cockroaches back home with us.

We had a lovely stay at Sira Boutique Hotel and enjoyed it so much that we kept extending our stay and recommended to friends! I completely disagree with all the negative reviews, the rooms are incredibly spacious, very comfortable and have brand new TVs. You get so much considering the low price that you can’t complain! The staff were so kind, never rude and the rooms were cleaned and water replenished daily. The location is perfect to explore Chaing Mai and there is a great night food market opposite the hotel on the other side of the road. 100% recommend.

The price is good. The hotel position is in centre of Chiangmai however it is quite old and has only some guests. At the 4th floor, we also can hear the sound of mouses. A lot of mouse. Ao scare, but anyway, when we complained, they changed the room for us.
It’s better but not too good.

OK, the reception ist came and WE could get into our rooms (3rd floor without elevator). The hotel hast the rustical charme of the wooden houses in the mountains. And it smells like insants. The rooms are spacey and the bathroom has got a bathtab.
It is located in the centre of the old City of Chiang Mai.
