The photos on the website are misleading. The area is noisy, dirty, and in a state of disrepair, but the rooms are worthy of such an area: outdated furnishings, a locked safe (we asked for a fix for three days, but nothing was changed), only one towel per person (we asked for an extra towel in vain, but nothing... it bounced around for days), a bathroom with a shower practically above the toilet, no curtain or anything else, faucets and utensils from a dump, and dirt everywhere (a cotton swab was on a shelf from day one to day one, without anyone removing it).
Hair on the floor all week, despite the "daily cleaning"... (....)
One evening, when we returned, the bathroom was flooded with water pouring down forcefully due to a broken hose... things that happen... yes... when things are rotten... luckily the bathroom has a step so the water didn't invade the room and suitcases.
Breakfast starts at 9:00...a little late for those who want to go to the beach, they said they'd bring it forward to 8:30 the next day...no one showed up.
On our way back from breakfast outside, we encountered a large rat in the stairs!!! At our screams, the owner came out and reassured us later, saying, "Don't worry, the rat's out," as if it were normal to find one in the stairs.
The window overlooking a panorama of garbage and asbestos roofs is "unopenable" due to the filth from the air conditioning system upstairs...
The mattress is hard as a board, the shower towels are stained, the light goes off every time you shower, and at the same time, the air conditioning is too hot, resulting in...cold water.
The managers are arrogant and rude. They couldn't even call us a taxi when we asked for one.
No small fee justifies such a mess.
Naturally, no one apologized for all the inconvenience.
I felt cheated....when I finally complained, the owner told me that if I wanted comfort, I should stay in a 5-star hotel...you be the judge....
This accommodation is a step above sleeping under a bridge.
Unacceptable.
But if you tell me that this is normal in Thailand...go ahead....
On the busy Soi Banzaan, running from the Jungceylon & Banzaan Markets to busy Nanak Road, it is one of very many similar establishments.
It has the advantage of also having a Pizza Restaurant attached.
It has the disadvantage of being very, very noisy.
