Sue@Cozy Guesthouse in Kata

The location is superb, and everything is very convenient. Restaurants, shopping, massage parlors, and beaches are all within a ten-minute walk. Even though it's near a night market, you won't have to sleep at night.

I lived on the 4th floor, and without an elevator it's not very convenient to go up. The hotel is a bit old, and the owner wasn't very welcoming, maybe she wasn't in the mood.

Stayed here and it's a wonderful, cozy little guest house right in the middle of Kata Walking Market. It's really good value and the owner is lovely. The cocktails are highly recommended. The steps are steep but I would stay there again if I was in Kata. The beach is just a nice stroll away.

It's impossible to sleep because Kata Market is just down the street. The owner isn't very welcoming, because I asked for a quiet room, and she was so annoyed, like, "No," even though there was a quiet room available. Luckily, I only stayed three nights before changing hotels. Would I recommend this hotel? Anyone looking for a quiet night's sleep would definitely not want this one.

The room itself is nice, the furniture isn't new, but everything is clean and tidy. Water was brought in daily.
It's a bit noisy in the evenings because there's a night market nearby, so keep that in mind.
Suitable for unpretentious travelers.

However, I really didn't like the service. The woman at reception was extremely rude. On the day of departure, we arrived at 11 and started yelling at her to kick us out, even though the app says checkout is from 11 to 12. It wasn't a very pleasant experience.

The location is in the center of the events that take place in the evenings. Night market, pharmacies, 7/11, souvenir shop, street where they pour 50 grams, everything is close at hand.
Room on the 4th floor (401), with a view of a very nearby building, i.e. there is no view, this is a minus, but you get used to it in a day.

No elevator, 4th floor, not that this is a problem, but still.
The owner of the hotel is responsive and helpful. In the "lobby" in quotes, she runs a small sports bar, board games, TV broadcasts, beer and coffee we will sit.

After 23:00 the street falls asleep, the hotel closes the doors, you will have a key to the street door.
The sea (Kata beach) is 10-15 minutes walk away, the time depends on how quickly you want to plunge into the warm sea. The route is walking past the OZO hotel, at the crossroads turn left, then straight ahead, the oncoming flow of people in bathing suits will not let you make a mistake in the right direction.
Total: overall I recommend. At first I didn't like it (it's always like that with us, after a long road, checking into a hotel is a tragedy), starting from the second day of stay everything is fine. The main thing is to have a positive attitude towards the holiday.

The location is excellent, inside the pedestrian street. Restaurants and food stalls are right outside. Massage parlors and shopping are all nearby. It's a 10-minute walk to the beach.

The first floor is a cocktail bar. I had cocktails there for two consecutive days; there were also many games on the tables.

Because I was traveling with elderly people and children, my luggage was very heavy. They helped me with my luggage both when we arrived and when we left. Thank you so much!

We had an enjoyable stay at the guesthouse. The lady running the place was an excellent cocktail maker and was very helpful, not gory the housekeeper. Who made the bed and kept the room clean. Thank you we had an enjoyable stay at Sues guesthouse.
