Avwan Hotel Cigli in Izmir

This is NOT a 4 stars worthy hotel. The bathrooms smell very intensely like mold, and have an extremely loud extractor. I couldn’t even go to the toilet and turn on the light peacefully. Beds are uncomfortable and feel very cheap. Rooms are really noisy, especially since it’s next to a busy road. Please don’t come here if you have a car or just don’t come here in general. You can’t park your car normally, there’s a garbage dump a street away where some cars from the hotel are parked, which is also stocked all the time. Besides that the neighborhood is extremely poor and dirty, which does NOT suit the environment of a 4 star hotel. There’s only 1 small elevator that suits 2 people and the stairs are dangerous to walk on since they’re uneven. My wife would’ve fallen down the first time if I hadn’t had held her on time. This was WAY below my expectations and I feel like I’ve thrown away every penny spent here. It did not feel comfortable nor safe in and outside this hotel, don’t come here!!!

Edit: If I haven’t actually been here, how do I know about the uneven stairs and also, which I didn’t mention, the extremely dry potatoes at breakfast? I haven’t taken any pictures inside, but everything I said is completely true. There was mold in the corners of the walls in the shower, and the smell was not healthy. You spray some type of kolonya in the bathroom to cover it up for a few hours, but one day the cleaner forgot to do so and the smell was OVERWHELMING. I posted pictures of the environment of the hotel because those were the only pictures I had, whom also proved my point very clearly; the environment is NOT made for a ‘4 star’ hotel.
