If you are an average joe visiting Istanbul on a budget, this hotel is fantastic. It's not the Marriott or the Hilton, but it does offer you a good apartment-style hotel that's decently clean and smack dab in the heart of Istanbul.

It's a 5 minute walk to Galata Tower and all the surrounding cafes. A 15 minute walk to reach the beginning of the massive Beyoglu walking street. 5 minutes downhill takes you to Karakoy station, from which you can easily take a tram to see all major sites in Istanbul. The tram also takes you to the nearby pier, which offers several different options to visit the Asian side of the city.

A lot of the negative reviews criticised the cleanliness, but honestly it was as clean as your average hotel. Sure, there was a stain here or a strand of hair on the floor, but it never felt unsanitary. And considering the price we paid to spend 2 weeks in this beautiful city, I'd definitely go back the next time around!

We had a great time in Istanbul a week ago. Stayed at Galata Hill Hotel. The apartment was comfortable and very clean. The Location is great, just 3 minutes walking distance from the Galata Tower. There are shops and restaurants close to the apartment. Benan the reception manager was very kind and helpfull. His colleague from the reception (forgot his name) help us with the baggage and they were at service all the time.

A big recomendation for these apartments, we are defenetly coming back soon ☺️

This hotel is great. The size of the rooms is larger than in other hotels. suitable for both family and single trip. The room has everything you need. The staff is very nice, they quickly resolve the issue. The location is very convenient, the Galata tower is 2 minutes walk, there is a metro, tram and pier nearby. You can milk on foot to the Egyptian Bazaar and the famous Galata Bridge.
