We had such a big problem with our reservation in this hotel, they didn't have room for us even if I checked twice with owner through messeges by booking site, so they put us in some dirty motel nearby, the door was broken and we didn't feel safe there. When they finaly had free room for us, the insisted that we pay in cash instead with card and comunication was very hard because nobody speak english...

Small hotel with no particular facility but the owner were really nice and the emplacement not far from sultanamet and close from transportation was practicale I recommend!

I can highly recommend this hotel. The staff was great! Especially Mr. Abduallah. He was very kind and welcoming. Helped us a lot with everything we needed. The room was cleaned almost everyday. And if not, you could ask the cleaning lady to do it. The location of the hotel was definitely nice, because it was close to most places. Otherwise you could take the transport which was relatively close.

The staff were incredibly friendly. Gunel, Mariem, and Mazlum were exceptionally kind and wonderful. Their service truly made me want to return to this hotel. However, there was one employee whose behavior was poor. I hope I won't encounter her next time I return. The location is beautiful and close to everything.

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at Historial Hotel. The location is excellent—within walking distance to major historical sites, and right across from a beautiful historic church. The location of the hotel is perfect! The balconies are a little bit small, but the location & service are so good one doesn't care for the room. It's a nice, clean place, close to everything, we didn't have any problems. The Aksaray metro and tram stations are right next to it, and the Marmaray train line is also nearby.

This hotel is at a main location i.e İstiklal Street, so you can reach Taksim in just 4-5 mint walks. But the bad thing is there are many hotel and club near to it so there is too much noise which last long around 4am in the morning. This hotel is an economical so its rooms are also as per its price. They don't offer breakfast as i said it's economical.

Great value for money, but all the restaurants nearby are tourist traps. If you head towards the plaza, you can catch the rail transit which connects to the subway. You'll need to get one of those red transit cards, and then travel anywhere is really cheap. There's a booth at the airport where you can get one.

I stayed for 2 days on a business trip. There was hair on the bathroom floor. Despite it being clearly unclean, the person who directed us to the room tried to defend themselves instead of admitting it. They only tried to clean it by running water over it. I deducted points for cleanliness. If you don't expect professional hotel service, it's a viable option in terms of price, performance, and location
