We stayed here for a week during our trip to Istanbul and had such a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were so welcoming and kind they even greeted us with a fruit platter, which was such a thoughtful touch. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the hotel’s location couldn’t be better! Even though it’s right in the centre, it’s peaceful and quiet, and we could walk to almost everything which was perfect. The hospitality really made our stay special and we’re so glad we chose this hotel…would happily come back!

The only problem we had is with booking who showed us a complete different room then we ended up paying € 100 for one room while we already paid $386 for 4 nights

Hotel Evsen is perfectly located close to a lot of main attractions in Istanbul. We stayed here for 4 nights and it was very convenient. The size of the rooms are slightly small but it wouldn’t matter if you just roam around all day and just crash on the bed at night.
The staff is also very friendly and accommodative. I would highly recommend this hotel to someone planning to visit Istanbul

We loved our stay at Hotel Evsen! The hotel is cozy, stylish, and perfectly located walking distance to all major tourist attractions like the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and the Grand Bazaar. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel like family. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend this boutique gem in the heart of Istanbul!

Briefly about these 3 stars Cons: 1. The room has a 50x50 window, it is stuffy in the room 2. The air conditioner does not work at all 3. The drains in the bathroom and sinks are straight-through, i.e. if you do not flush the water a couple of times a day, the stench will be unbearable 4. There are no disposable sets, take toothbrushes and toothpaste with you 5. The door is on a slope, the opening sensor can beep endlessly until you press the door with all your might Pros: - The staff is generally adequate, there are Russian speakers - the breakfasts are quite decent - free Wi-Fi - a great place to just spend the night and walk around all day

The hotel is great, all staff helpful and kind and helped us every day of our vacation. In the first few days changed our accommodation to more pleasant) Breakfasts delicious! Hotel guests are the best.

The room looked nothing like the pictures. The beds were terrible to sleep in, and the pillows were just as bad I woke up every day with pain all over my body. There was no view, and not even a proper window you could open or look out of. The toilet seat was unstable and loose, and almost everything in the bathroom was falling apart. You could hear every sound and noise from the hallway and other rooms the room door wasn’t sealed properly, so you could hear everything. The bathroom didn’t even have a real door, just a sliding one that offered no privacy at all.
We were supposed to stay here for 7 days, but we ended up leaving after just 2 days because we couldn’t take it anymore. It was really upsetting to have to pay for the hotel, but we had no choice other than to move out due to the conditions. This was a very disappointing experience. The only decent part was the service from the staff, but that couldn’t make up for everything else. I would not recommend this place.

The Evsen is a wonderful budget hotel sited in the heart of Istanbul. The hotel is impeccably clean and the rooms are small but comfortable. The breakfast choices include a Turkish option plus cereals, scrambled eggs and numerous other options, including a whole honeycomb! The staff are superb and extremely helpful. Marta the receptionist and Ali the manager are exceptional and have made my 10 day stay here a delight. There are hundreds of restaurants within the area and the main tourist attractions are all within easy walking distance. I can thoroughly recommend the Evsen Hotel and will be returning next year.

Just location good 👍 Hotel inside smelled like damp, the lobby and breakfast area were extremely dirty. There were bugs crawling on the floor. There was no hot water to take a shower always . The water was coming and going. It was the worst hotel I have ever seen in my life. This hotel not for Me

We had a terrible experience at Evsen hotel. The value for money was extremely poor – it was far too expensive for what was offered. The rooms were small and some items were broken. The only positive aspect was the front desk who help us to much ; He was truly delightful. Overall, it was a very bad experience and I wouldn't recommend staying here. Again
