Plaza Hotel Hammersmith in London

We stayed for one night — the room was small but had the basics: a fan, TV, and mini fridge (though it wasn’t cold). The shower had lovely hot water, but the head could use replacing. The bed was comfy and we managed to get a good rest before and after our event.

Unfortunately, I woke up covered in bed bug bites on my legs and chest, which was really disappointing and needs urgent attention. The location was great though — close to the station and plenty of bars and restaurants. Overall, decent value for money, but the cleanliness and bed bug problem must be addressed.

The room was dirty, the bed felt like it was wet. The shower was dirty and not cleaned at all. The room was really cold so we had to sleep in our jackets on. So you get what you pay for. The staff was nice and the location was good

If you're looking to enjoy your stay in London, don't stay here. The rooms are tiny, kitted out with a disgusting full size fridge, scale ridden coffee and a bathroom with bloodstains.

I could have forgiven some issues if the room was clean, but it looked like even that was a stretch too far to expect. We stayed one night, any longer we'd have gotten our money back and gone elsewhere.

The bathrooms look as though they have recently been renovated, however, not looked after or cleaned. The bathroom is also tiny, to the point you can not move between the toilet and the shower.

This hotel also advertising self-parking on site, but there are no spaces, not even pay and display, resident parking only.

No lobby, no breakfast, no enough liquid shampoo : 2 small sachets for 4 days, no daily room cleaning. Bokking done for 2 beds, we got only one.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!
Reception was listed as open till midnight. But upon arrival at 23:30 the reception was closed. The nr on the website wasn’t picking up. As a woman traveling solo I was left to fend for myself at midnight in London. Luckily enough I could sleep on a friends couch that night.
In the morning, I got told a bullstory, that reception was supposed to be open till 23:00 and that ******* wasn’t updated. He tried calling me but their phones don’t allow international nrs (you run a hotel ffs) There is more to this story but I’m only allowed 1500 characters.
- the room was filthy, the sheets had stains on them.
- The room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, which you could already smell when walking up the stairs.
- The room was super hot (Nov), there were two fans, that didn’t work, and covered with a thick layer of dust. I had to sleep with the window open. With the bed right underneath it.
- The door had no internal lock or deadbolt of any kind.
- There was no water kettle.
- Supposed to have daily housekeeping, tho my room wasn’t cleaned once. After complaining about this all they did was empty out the bin the next day.
- I asked to be put in a different room, but they were fully booked.
- At that point I just gave up, I was tired of “complaining” for just the bare basics. Yes I stayed for the remaining of my stay. Cause I just couldn’t mentally, physically or financially cope to find a different solution.
