The hotel looks cute in the pictures but not really functional. They could easily fit a little table in the bunker beds room. No hooks/hangers for wet towels.
But the worse if having to pay for WiFi and not having a coffee machine available.
They want you to buy everything from their bar.

I was a bit scared based on reviews but honestly this is a killer stay for the price. Stayed for a week and was overall very pleasantly surprised. I’ll start w the negatives and end on all the highs! The floors in the room were extremely dirty, like leave your shoes on the whole time, dirty but everything else in the room was clean! Only other gripe about the room is the moisture… a dehumidifier would do wonders. Yes the sink is tiny but it’s cute and y’all should be brushing your teeth in the shower anyway. Okay now for all the lovely things about this hotel — the location is amazing, quick walk to the beach, south beach, local grocery store right around the corner, boutique hotel bars and Starbucks! The restaurant in the hotel - Bar Luca… AMAZING. The most fresh tasting food we had all week. We literally ate at the hotel 4-5 times total. They have a KILLER happy hour with food & unique cocktails! The overall vibe is very trendy & cute and all the staff was great and friendly! 100% would stay here again - just remember your house slippers :)

First off, the hotel has a musty smell right as you walk in. With hotel staff using a microwave right at the entrance. The rooms are a disaster as everytime we got back our clothes and bed sheets would be wet due to the fact their AC units are from 1950. This place is honestly pretty sketchy. And don't get me started with the view of the abandon apartment building right next store.

I had the hardest time sleeping due to the room tempature regardless if the AC was on or not. I wouldn't even recommend my worst enemy to stay there....

Pros: clean room, comfortable beds, we had 2 bunk beds. Decent amount of space. Nice fridge. Nice outdoor dining area. Great customer service. The $6 coffee/pastry special is delicious.
Cons: noisy bathroom fan/light. It’s one switch, light not separate. So much noisy construction. This is supposed to be a non smoking property. I couldn’t eat my meal on their property because of the horrible smoking on the patio property in front. The bathroom sink is teeny tiny like a doll house. The soap/shampoo dispensers in shower were all broken.

I stayed here for 4 nights and would say this place is not bad for its price.
Pros: nice rooms and decorations, friendly staff and location very close to the beach. Also if you are not driving there are bus stops around.

Cons: it really smells not good there and the walls are quite thin.

The restaurants nearby are quite pricey, I found Ana’s Market, where you can have decent breakfast for very reasonable price.

Went in expecting a good experience (not luxury) and was very satisfied.
Hotel: nice and welcoming lobby. Front desk friendly and helpful with questions
Location: very good. 2 blocks from beach access. About 30 minute beach walk to south beach. Easy uber to many Miami locations.
Rooms: clean and accommodating...had the basics that you need, including mini fridge and microwave. Only negative is they are small. My husband and I didn't need any more space so worked fine for us

Little hole in the wall places seems to serve local Latin population. Wish it had more outside tables cause was cool temp inside. Tables are quite close together in small dinning area. Service was good and food not bad. Chicken soup was full of very large chunks of chicken and veggies. I'd prefer them chopped up a little more to make easier to eat with spoon, but can't complain about quantity.

If you read the menu from right to left, don’t mind eating what looks like dog food and think that this must mean that you’ve found a hidden local gem, then this is your spot. Not worth the money even at cheap prices. Was staying at a hotel a block away and I stopped to order a Cuban sandwich to go. The price was about $7 with tax but the gal who took my order kept a dollar for her service and still gave incorrect change when I asked her about it. She kept telling me “six minutes,” but it took nearly a half hour to get a LOUSY Cuban sandwich - the worst I’ve ever had. While I waited inside I looked at what other people were eating and it looked pretty institutional: scoops of grey rice, mystery meat stews with watery sauces. Scary.

We had lunch (3 adults and a child) the food was great. Service was quick and very friendly. I should have taken the girl who served us her name but I forgot. She played with my nephew and awesome. Will go back again.

Great little hole in the wall restaurant with good food for the price. It's cramped, it's hot, and it's kind of bare, but the food is great and you're not really here for the decor anyway.

Nice little hole in the wall that feels like it would be great if you were a local and a regular. Nice customer service, and cozy. The place had a great menu with authentic Cuban selections.

The best part? It's actually affordable for this part of town. After eating at the hotels and finding myself a little sick of richer hotel fare, it was nice to get away and stumble into this cafe and order something a bit more down to earth.
