Corner Room was bright and clean overlooking Collins Ave. Entry hall was a bit dark and dingy. People were very nice.

Walking in thru the restaurant was odd when it was busy.
Having to pay the "amenities fee" per day instead of per night was annoying since we couldn't check in until an hour before sunset on the 1st day, and because we had to check out by noon on the last day. We did not use beach chairs either of those days, but still we're charged for them.

Otherwise, it was a clean & pleasant place with interesting history just 2 blocks off the beach.

Beautiful room. Updated bath. Staff great! David got us checked in. Very nice. Eat twice at hotel restaurant. Excellent food. Servers Juan and Ivan were wonderful. Definitely stay here!

We were there during Christmas and it was a great experience from start to finish. The check in was smooth and they were accommodating of an early check-in. The hotel location is perfect for South Beach. The room and building were very clean. The food at the hotel restaurant was amazing and did get a discount as a hotel guest. I do recommend the stay here and will choose to stay again at the hotel. Overall a smooth and wonderful experience!

We had a great experience at the Marlin. The room was nice and clean, and the restaurant had tasty food and friendly staff. The only con was the mandatory $35 per night fee to use beach towels and other benefits that we didn't use.

A lovely art deco hotel in a great location for those in Miami Beach for the winter art fairs. Friendly staff that welcomes you back by name each evening.

Perfect location, renovated rooms, very good service.
Loud A/C, wope us up every time it kicked in.
Bathroom has no privacy, we chose to go to the lobby washroom as we were in a group of 5.

The staff at the Marlin were incredibly friendly. Even though my two sisters and I only stayed for one day after a cruise, we felt right at home. The location was perfect for walking and exploring. I would definitely stay there again.

Amazing staff. Whole hotel is VERY miami. A bit more quiet too than the Main Street if you want to chill at night.

Up to date room. Clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Lots of food options close by. Beach chairs and umbrella provided by the hotel was a great bonus. Close to the beach.

Came here for lunch and it was rip off. Tourist trap! The guy took our card and added a tip. He assumed we enjoyed everything when their bathrooms were not functional and our food was not good. No sinks. No toilets that work. I'd rather eat gator again even though it tasted swampy. I'm going to eat at the HIV bus that tours Miami next time where at least i know I'll be disappointed ahead of time. Please shut down this prison mess hall. Give the people a good place to eat instead of trying to get everyone drunk and enjoy trash foods. Quality pays except here it costs

The show was amazing. I waited over an hour for my tenders. I noticed that everyone was getting their food before me. I asked my server twice, and he finally came out and stated that there was a mix up in the kitchen. He offered to have my food out to me really quick, but I would STILL have to pay for the food. After waiting over an hour, and asking twice. No thank you! I actually get to choose where I spend my money. It's one thing to forget about your table, but another to totally not compensate for your mess up. Won't be going back to order food. I will enjoy the shows though!
