My wife was at a conference and my wife was there all day by herself. The first full day she was at the pool and there was little service - no umbrellas put up, food was left by her chaise, had to ask where to get food, etc. Booked an all day spa experience and found it to be very crowded and dirty. Cleaning service was good after she called them.

If you've never stayed in a Fairmont Gold property you're missing out. It's basically a hotel within a hotel. You get your own dedicated check in desk with dedicated staff. Fairmont Gold We had a short but very sweet weekend in Austin, with the Fairmont as our home base. We did the gold package, and it was worth every penny! The staff was friendly, the Gold Lounge was stocked with great snacks and drinks, and the gym was very nice with a great mix of cardio and weight options. We had numerous issues on arrival, check in was v slow. I asked for the sofa bed to be made up and had to ask 3 more times - 4 different members of staff and in the end had to speak to manager. The hotel room was ok. I got the king bed wicked small room. The facilities seem neither new nor old. But the bathroom facilities are strange, including the sink and bathtub. They make movement not easy. The hotel was packed. Actually for me too many guests, maybe there was an event during my stay.

We came down for MegaCon and it was a short 10minute walk to the convention center. The staff were all very nice and the multiple pools and playground were super fun! Will definitely be back next year!

Location is really really good. Close to everything I drive the pointe and even close enough to Kia center! Got a chance to check out a magic game at home. The uber ride there was less than 30 minutes away. Got a chance to see them play for the first time and they won had a great time. Can’t wait to travel back to the area too. The hotel is a good bang for your buck. And no resort fees!

The place was nice overall but the fact thwy didn't tell us the water park was closed put a damper on the getaway since we took out young kids. Also, along with the majority of the pools being closed, the pool construction and jackhammering made for a stay that was less than relaxing while just trying to lounge outside with our children.

Room is clean, quiet and housekeeping came daily to refresh our towels and empty the trash. Nice facility and great for family gatherings.

My room was dirty and even though it was updated it had not been well maintained. Stains on sheets, dirty shower, broken plugs. I won’t be going back. The staff was friendly though and the pool looked lovely even though it was freezing that day and I didn’t get to use it.

I returned the room card during the check out. The temporary parking paper ticket did not work when I tried to exit parking lot. I have to walk to the lobby to tell the representative such that he can ask the security to open the gate when I exit the parking lot. The parking fee was already included in the hotel fee and was paid.

From the minute I checked in, the experience was fantastic! Everyone was extremely welcoming from the staff at the desk, the coffee shop, restaurant, etc. Shuttle was a great addition and had no problem with pickup or drop off. I chose a hotel that is close to my clients on a business trip. It has a beautiful sea view, a nice beach, a good restaurant, and a big and comfortable hotel room. The only problem is that parking is at Valet, which is an extra expense. Otherwise, everything is good and the experience was great!

My stay was pleasant and my room was very clean. This hotel needs more elevators to accommodate all of its guest. We had to wait 10 minutes for an elevator. Once we got one we had to pack 11-12 people on it.

This room is not very soundproof, you can hear people talking outside and the door of the next room closing clearly. The hygiene inside is also average, but it is in the city center, and there is a shopping district outside, which is convenient.

The hotel is big, the rooms are spacious, the hygiene is good, there is a washing machine for cooking, and the facilities are very complete. Everything is good, but there is no daily cleaning service. When I called to ask, I was told that it would take 3 days to clean, which is a bit inconvenient!

A very surprising vacation experience. The hotel park is very large and the green environment is very beautiful! The swimming pool is large, has ladders and has its own rafting area. Children can go there every day and stay in the hotel all day and feel very relaxed. It's very close and convenient to go to the Disneyland.

The bed sheets in the room always have a stinky smell from not drying. There are no toiletries in the room, so remember to bring your own. There are no slippers. There is a capsule coffee machine and two bottles of mineral water. It would be better to book a high floor if possible. Shower head was falling out and there was a dirty kids underwear in closet. The room didn’t feel clean. Also an alarm went off around 6am coming from an empty room next door and the hotel phone wasn’t working. This hotel is nearly 100 years old, so the facilities are a bit dated, but it's generally clean and tidy. Its best feature is the excellent location; it's very convenient to walk to major Midtown attractions and the subway. About 100 meters to the left when you exit the hotel, there's a fantastic Korean buffet restaurant.

Excellent service, generous desk staff allowed us to check in at 9am for no cost as the room was free, excellent room with great views. Right next to multiple subway stations.

It is a very basic hotel but very convenient if you want to take the train to other cities at Penn Station for a couple of days during your visit because they let you store your luggage if you return to NYC to stay there again.

My husband and I take a trip together every year, and this year it was near New York. The hotel's location was excellent, not far from any of the attractions. We rented bikes for a day, which made getting around much easier and saved our legs!

We truly enjoyed the hotel’s location, the room with its ocean view, and the excellent service provided by all staff members. The food was of good quality, although we found the prices somewhat high for what was offered. We also appreciated the beach and the availability of chairs. One aspect we liked less was the bed covering, which we found too thick, heavy, and warm.

It’s a good hotel to stay and the staff was very helpful. I was surprised that the manager of the hotel when I needed somebody to pick my bag he went and picked them himself so I thank him for that and that’s how managers should be always.

I've been staying here for the past 3 years one weekend a year for a workplace christmas party and its always a blast. The lobby bar is a lot of fun with amazing live music. However, for a big InterContinental hotel, there wasn't a single person at the front desk who spoke Chinese, which made communication very inconvenient.
