We had a lovely overnight stay at the Omni Shoreham after an event at the hotel. We enjoyed a comfortable, quiet room. The best part came shortly after checkout. We stayed here for one night with our 7 month old and we really enjoyed it! We had a great view on the 23rd floor and the employees are really kind and helpful. The hotel I booked for Boston Marathon is a little off the beaten track. The hotel itself is pretty good, big and new. There is a Starbucks downstairs. The room is cleaned promptly every day, which is rare in the United States.

No signs on directions to registration or elevators to hotel stay. Registration clerk or service clerk did not give much instructions to help with our first stay. We had to dig it out of her. I usually love staying at this hotel but on this trip I had lots of trouble. Special events took up all parking spaces and I had to park off property after cruising for 30 minutes with no space available. Overall a great stay. Everything you come to expect from Marriott. Great beds, excellent service and perks. Unbeatable location. The only negative is the always dirty and severely stained front entrance and carpet. Being that it’s your first impression when you walk in, it definitely takes away from the experience.

The room was incredibly spacious, almost to the point of feeling a bit empty. The bed was very comfortable, and the interior decor was all quite nice. I have to call out the Hilton next door; its exterior is grand, but the inside feels no different from a budget hotel. The Westin is similar, but it's significantly better than the Hilton next door. Overall, it's pretty good.

The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, with easy shuttle service. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked breakfast expecting a buffet, but it turned out to be à la carte.
