I always choose this hotel for my conferences. It's conveniently located next to McCormick Place. It's also close to Chinatown and the Bean. However, this time, I was in the north building, so the view wasn't as good as in the south. Overall, I was satisfied.

I booked this hotel out of convenience of location to the C2E2 expo. I paid A L O T. PROS:The front desk were hepful & friendly. Check out was Noon, which is later than most. I did like the full size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, & lotion. The room was clean but...
CONS: the sheets & bedspread were so thin. It felt & sounded like we were sleeping on newspapers. I could hear every other room using their sink, tub, or toilet.
I get the hotel charges more during conventions/shows, but other than location (in my instance) it IS NOT worth $300+ per night

We stayed here almost a week and each day has been an amazing experience. I typically don't right reviews at hotels but I was so impressed with how well this location takes care of you even while there is several large events taking place. When we contacted the front desk at least three times they provided detailed information that was so useful and seemed to genuinely care about our experience. This location has everything we could have hoped for. Just thankful to get to experience such great customer service. The restaurant on site has delicious burgers and wings. The gym is well thought out with beautiful views as well. Thank you so much for the great experience! So glad we were able to have this opportunity to stay at with this Hyatt!

Decent gym… but the hotel room was dirty. The people before me must have been hairy people because it was everywhere. The halls also needed shampooing. As for the mattress… no bugs just dirty and hairy. Also no mattress covers.
Decent lobby area and good for large gatherings. The food was decent. I loved their banana pudding!

Great views from our room. We had two adults in our room and one of the queens was more like a small double bed. It wasn’t an issue but if it were my family we would not have fit. Pillows are like clouds. My favorite part.
Hotel is very clean. Easy access to the conference center or downtown.
There are two restaurants and a market which has a wide selection of beverages and take and go food.
The gym has more equipment than you can dream about. We were under the impression there was a sauna but I was unsuccessful in locating it. I always love a hot tub but you will have make do with a pool.
Overall pleasant stay.

Awesome place. The service: Excellent. The rooms: Well appointed and meticulously clean. If you can get a room on a high floor, worth the extra money. Check out the views from my south-facing room!
Not to mention the easy access to the lakefront. Went for a morning run on the lakefront. See the sunrise over the lake! Totally worth the price.
