Check in process was easy and the staff was awesome as he guided me through the process. The hotel room is cleaned and well maintained and the view was immaculate. Location is great it was only a few minute walk from the station to get to the hotel. The washroom was a little old but it was clean. I would recommend it to anyone travelling to Chicago as it is a good hotel to stay at

The hotel is old, the corridors are not very clean, the air conditioning was broken and there was no heating. It is located in the city center, in a very bustling area. The American breakfast was plentiful and quite good.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to all the main attractions. Self-check-in was super fast and convenient. The only minor drawback was that only one elevator was operating, which sometimes meant a long wait. However, even that didn't detract from our overall positive impression.

Front desk, manager and employee service is out of this world! 2nd floor is a very nice lounge room and very great Chicago views. However we have never had worse room service in our life! They do not tuck in beds, they do not change towels or change our pillows and they literally steal from us! We ended up loosing a metal fork off this trip. Multiple times we ended up calling employees to do what room service didn’t do. This hotel seriously needs room service improvement but other than that, it’s amazing!

Great hotel, around the corner from the magnificent mile the place to be. Rooms are comfortable great coffee lounge on the second floor. Pedro and Ray were amazing in reception I would highly recommend this place great price and will definitely be coming back next time in Chicago

I think three stars does this place justice.
The location was amazing (but it’s probably the only pro). It is waking distance within everything, and there are several bus/subway station close by.
However, the rooms are extremely small with barely any space to lay out our luggages. We got two rooms, and one of them didn’t even have a microwave or fridge! The hotel is definitely old and outdated, room cleanup and towels are per request.
There are two elevators, but one of them is out of service for the entire duration of our 4 night stay (we didn’t even see any maintenance crew working on it or anything). It is incredibly frustrating going up and down the elevators, we often have to wait for several elevators before we can get on. Wait time might get even longer in the morning during check out time. There is suppose to be a gym in the basement, but I never checked it out because I would have to wait a while before I can get on the elevator.
Anyways, it is a good value for the price but still lots of places to improve.
