We had original reservations at Samarkand City centre, but we were told upon arrival that "there had been accident, room is stinky," so they sent us here, even promising a window view
I don't know where to start, this place is an 11/10! Best hotel you can find in Samarkand, especially for the price
First it's located only 10min (by foot) from the Registan, 15 from the bazaar and other nice buildings
The rooms are very clean, fully furnished and they have the most comfortable beds !!
Breakfast is yummy and generous, this is a buffet so you eat what you like! (My favorite was the...
His wife is kind and their kids are so cute and funny !
Definitely my favorite place to stay in Uzbekistan
The breakfast here was by far the best I have had in Uzbekistan and the region in general. Lots of vegetarian options and very generous spreads. The room itself was clean, however they were missing a TV
No shower curtains despite having a rod. The pillows were also too fat and uncomfortable
That's just bad business: is it really worth establishing distrust in a guest for a towel?!
Finally, for Yandex sake, this place was harder for drivers: we had to walk off site for about 5 minutes for them to find and pick us up
Samarkand, Khamraeva ulitsa, 37 (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Lovely hotel built round a courtyard. A bit uninspiring on pulling outside but the inside made up for it. Located outside of the main city so needed transport to get to the attractions but it was peaceful therefore
It's beautiful inside and out. My room was clean and tidy - the beds were fine. The bathroom was great with a nice shower
This is an extremely well decorated and pleasant hotel, feels as. if at home, indeed it is in a residential neighbourhood and will not realise it ia a hotel until you wnter
The location is out of the city centre but there is a really nice barbecue restaurant just 100 metres away where I ate every night and taxis into the city are just about €1 using Yandex anyway so that's not a big deal for me
The breakfast is OK, but it's all cold food, which is a challenge for Chinese people's appetite in the cold morning!
The courtyard is nice and feels beautiful
I don’t know if the staff was unfamiliar with the business or if they deliberately asked for more money because of Uzbekistan. Hotels generally have this problem, always asking me for money that I shouldn't have to pay
Samarkand, Tashkent str, 10 (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Right next to the mosque, great location. There is also a supporting restaurant with good food and a great view. The breakfast is rich. The room has an exotic feel and is worth going back to.
A great hotel with a very helpful boss Mr Shaliq
Location is great. Within walking distance to Bibikhanum Mosque Syiob market Hasrat Khirz mosque Shah I Zinda and Registan Square
Very recommended if you are visiting Samarkand
Great hotel, would stay again! Location is excellent, in front of the Bibikhanum Mosque and daily Siyob Bazar as well as walking distance to anything in the city
Beds are a little hard and the walls are thin so you can sometimes hear others but it’s fine with ear plugs. Beware that if you don’t pay in advance on booking. com, you’ll ask to pay in USD CASH on arrival
This is an extremely well located hotels with nice service and rooms. Breakfast had a good variety and us served in the rooftop restaurant with an amazing view. They don't take credit cards so bring cash

I like this place a lot, it was really nice, the staff are really friendly, and the breakfast was delicious, I love this place a lot and it feels like home to me, I recommend this place a lot.💯😀😄✅👍🏠
Excellent hotel with reasonable price. The thing i really liked was the stuff of the hotel. Polite adminstrators will help you. There are 3 types of breakfast in the hotel and all of them are delicious.
Good and affordable hotel with wi-fi and fresh breakfast

The fortunate positioning of this guesthouse near the Gur-e-Amir mausoleum and town center is noteworthy. My room was comfortable and looked exactly like the photo
I just experienced the best breakfast spread of my life! Beyond the food, the host’s warmth and hospitality made me feel completely at home, even in a faraway place.
Even though the owner took the money, he claimed it’s not about money and told the other guests to “complain” to me. Overall, a decent option for a brief stay, just stay out of the conflicts with staff
The staff assisted me in ordering food and delivering it to my suite at night. Breakfast also was nice!
The first issue was low water pressure in the shower, and one night there was no hot water
It had everything needed inside, including a good conditioning system. The guesthouse charged a fair price (about $30) for my two-night stay, and they kept the bathroom clean
We had a really late night check-in which was quite smooth and a taxi was arranged to pick us up from the train station. We stayed in a room of 4 (2 bunk beds)

A beautiful hotel, friendly staff, delicious breakfasts, clean and cozy—that's all about Hotel Barakat. We'll definitely choose it again on our next trip. Another highlight is the kosher cuisine.
This is one of the best hotels in Samarkand, there are no shortcomings here, everything is fine and if you go to Samarkand, then only here to the Barakat Hotel 🤗
An excellent hotel with friendly and attentive staff, cozy rooms, and excellent Wi-Fi. Overall, it's a very beautiful hotel with a unique atmosphere
The best experience I've had here staying in Uzbekistan. Wonderful, Warm and friendly staff, delicious breakfast made our stay. 100/100
If you're looking for a comfortable vacation or business trip, look no further and book your stay at the Barakat Hotel
Wonderful hotel, if we go to Samarkand we stay only there. I miss your breakfasts :)). I'll come soon :))
The dining room, decorated like a bride's room, offers delicious, varied, and filling multi-course breakfasts with dessert and fruit. The rooms and hallways are clean. There was a water cooler next to our room
The owner is a fabulous person. He is so nice that he came himself to the Samarkand Railway station to pick us up. It's incredible !! During our stay, he gave all kinds of advice to make our tour fruitful
After coming back from the city tour, they offered nice fruits /snacks and tea. It's an additional one that I never experienced earlier. At the end of the corridor, there is a water dispenser
The Amir Temur mausoleum is only a few steps away from the property. Famous Registan Square is at a 10-minute walking distance from the hotel. Several famous eateries are nearby
That means you don't have to spend money to purchase drinking water. It is also a wonderful gesture! Given a chance, I shall again come back to the hotel
All the rooms are well equipped including hairdryers and a fridge. Lavish breakfasts are offered on each day which includes homemade local delicacies

We had a great stay at this hotel. Ideal location, super helpful and caring staff, great breakfast, clean and nicely decorated rooms. Thank you for making our stay at Samarkand enjoyable!
There is also a cozy chilling area on each floor. Only thing to improve: The window curtains could be thicker to better black-out the room from sunlight during the morning hours
Beautifully decorated hotel with only 9 rooms, that is very well situated in a quiet courtyard. The manager is a super nice person. The breakfast was very good and varied
Charming little hotel with new facilities, close to main attractions. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay
Samarkand, Uzbekistan, Mahmud al-Kashgari Street, 27 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Hotel isn't near the center, however with Yandex or Yango you can get there fast and cheap The worst part is if you stay in the ground floor, prepare for the noise of arrival and departure of people/groups: there are some people that only know how to talk by screaming to the entire hotel! I would stay again here :)
We stayed at Art Luxury Hotel in the second week of Jun '22. 5 Start service yet feels like home. All the staff is very helping. Specially Malik, Bekhzod and Daler. Malik and Daler were fluent in English
Great value for money. I’ve been to this hotel 3 times 👍 Restaurant Samarkand nearby is a great place for lunch
I will recommend this hotel without any hesitation. The environment was so friendly
It's a nice place, with a huge room and many space. Breakfast is good, with some variety. Employees are really nice, mainly Amir that was really kind and helped me in my stay
Very nice and comfortable accommodation, the guy who greeted us at the reception was very kind, the rooms are very neat and clean, the cleaning lady asks all the time if you are missing anything, they are very hospitable

He was an impeccable and passionate guide who allowed us to learn about the history of this beautiful country, always answering our questions and curiosities, patiently accommodating our requests, and always making himself available for any changes in plans
Professional travel agency, had a great family trip in Uzbekistan. They go the extra mile to accommodate any special requests. A special mention goes to our amazing guide Eldor who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful
If Uzbekistan seemed like a fascinating and surprising country to us on this trip, we owe it entirely to him. Thank you again for everything, and I hope to see you soon. Mara, Katia, Paola, Verbena, Tiziana, Elena
Good morning,
We wanted to thank you for the impeccable organization of this trip, which turned out to be a wonderful experience for us
It was wonderful to see a young man so knowledgeable and so interested in his work, carrying it out with pleasure and ease
Upon arrival in Samarkand, I stayed at the Amirjon Hotel
Where I am very grateful for the friendly service, the cleanliness of the rooms, at the same time I feel a homely atmosphere, convenient location and plus excursions around the tourist city of Samarkand, I am very grateful and inexpensive, convenient prices, thank you very much for your service
They suggested interesting things to see in the city and were always happy to chat. The hostess was very friendly. The hostel is in a great location; the sights are within walking distance

If you’re visiting Samarkand and want a central, comfortable place without paying luxury rates, this is a great option
Friendly hotel owner, location within walking distance to attraction, historical place, bazar and museum. Location nearby to various famous restaurant. The owner provide takeaway breakfast because my I'm checkout 630am.
We arrived early and the staff was kind enough to let us check in - an excellent start to our stay. The hotel itself is very family-friendly and offers a warm welcoming atmosphere. The room was simple, clean and nice
It’s about a 7–10 minute walk to Registan Square depending on how fast you walk, and it’s right along the main road. That makes it super convenient for taxi drop-offs (no navigating tiny alleys)
The breakfast was simple and delicious. The location of hotel is ideal, just a short walk to the iconing Registan Square, and there are plenty of eateries around offering traditional local food
Unfortunately, we only stayed for 2 nights—3 nights would have been perfect to fully explore the historic sites of Samarkand. We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit to the area

What a lovely hotel. Every single person there made me feel like a member of their family. The rooms were wonderful, the location was perfect. And I felt like a treasured guest. Thank you. You are a hotel with a heart.
Other points:
Good WiFi
Decent breakfast buffet
Good views of the mountains from the rooms at the rear of the building (or certainly from the top floor where my room was located)
Overall, if you're searching for a hotel in Samarkand, this would be a strong choice
A fantastic stay at Meros Boutique Hotel!
The rooms were spotless and well-sized, and the staff was super friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The location is perfect — close to everything you might need
Clean, great location, 2 water bottles a day! The room is pretty much brand new at this point. The desk staff has been friendly and there is a good mix of coffee and restaurants a few minutes walk away.
Excellent location just behind kukladosh medressa
Really comfortable bed, the most comfortable of our holiday. The room was really big and even had a fridge, a a kettle with coffee and tea
Amazing big breakfast with really tasty somsas and good coffee
More importantly, everyone was so friendly and helpful. We were made very welcome and were looked after by everyone
The whole place has multiple stunning historic relief murals and lovely paintings and decorations in the rooms. They also have very nice and friendly staff, communication in English was smooth throughout
Location is great as it is only a 10 min walk from registon square and close to the center
We stayed here in Jan 2024. The place is in a fantastic location - quiet and within walking distance to most places. The staff were extremely accommodating and made a lovely, but simple, breakfast each morning.
Me and my friend enjoyed the 2-night stay at this place. The breakfast was delicious, and having it while chilling with an excellent view of the yard made for a perfect start to the day
Excellent boutique hotel in Samarkand with very hospitable staff and very clean rooms. Excellent breakfast as well with many different options to choose from
A very cozy hotel with a delicious breakfast, fast Wi-Fi, and very friendly and welcoming staff!!! The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Registan Square

Breakfast was OK – nothing special, but got the job done. Staff was lovely – very nice and helpful. Good location right next to Tamerlane’s mausoleum and walking distance to a number of sights
Towels were scratchy and the sheets on the very hard bed were rough. The A/C worked well, but made odd crackling noises. There was a lovely terrace on the roof with nice views
Pleasant room, helpful staff, lovely breakfast, great location. No elevator.
Our room was a decent size – a little dated, but OK, and acceptably clean
The front desk staff was very kind and I was very happy. It was one of my most memorable experiences in Uzbekistan. It's a little far from the tourist center, but the staff will help you call a taxi
There was no place for toiletries in the bathroom; there was just a single towel bar (need more) and the shower head was designed for people over 7 feet tall
Samarkand, Mullakandov ko'chasi, 140100 Samarkand, Uzbekistan (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The boss upgraded the room for free. Considering the hotel's location and price, this hotel has a very suitable price/performance ratio, good facilities and excellent service. It is worth recommending.
Central location in Samarkand
Very nice place with super friendly owners just 5 min from the central square Registan.
It's very close to the attractions, about a 10-minute walk. The staff were very friendly and checked us in quickly. It's a great place, highly recommended. The price is also very reasonable
The room was clean, with a beautiful courtyard, typical local style, the owner was kind and hospitable, there was 24-hour hot water, and it was close to the main local attractions, just a few minutes' walk from Registan Square
good one!
even there was no view at all in my room I was pretty happy with the place. quiet and safe, privately owned place. breakfast: average, but good and healthy
near of Registan square (7 min walk), some restaurants nearby. parking: free, if you succeed to find a spot
