Samarkand, 36 Mirzo Ulug'bek Ko'chasi (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Many thanks to the housekeeping staff for their impeccable work, to the chef for the varied and delicious breakfast buffet, to the attentive young receptionist, and to the hostess Nathalie, whose warm welcome truly makes a difference
The room was very spacious and clean, with thoughtful extras like slippers, a bathrobe, and even a toothbrush with toothpaste! Natalia and Mehrangiz at the reception were incredibly kind and helpful around the clock
It's about a 20-minute walk from Registan Square, but it's on a main street so it's busy and has lots of shops, making it convenient. The room was very spacious and comfortable
Also worth noting: the bathroom is fully functional and remains dry after a shower — which is not always the case elsewhere in the country. I highly recommend this place
Breakfast had a great variety of options. Wi-Fi was a bit weak, but that seems to be a city-wide issue, even my eSIM rarely had more than 3G
This is by far the best hotel I have stayed at. I was fortunate to have a suite, which made my stay even more pleasant

If you're looking for a great hotel that's within walking distance of Samarkand's main attractions like Registan Square and Bibi-Khanym Mosque, and offers a homemade-style breakfast cooked fresh to order instead of a factory-like buffet, then this is the place for you
It was a small guesthouse run by a family. They provided excellent service, including breakfast, and I had a wonderful time.
The hosts are very friendly and responsive. It's a budget-friendly stay, and my impressions are only positive
This guesthouse used to be a private home. No one speaks English except for the father (the owner), who works outside during the day and is only around in the early morning and evening. Overall, they were very welcoming
Of course, as it's a family-run guesthouse, the facilities aren't great; the bed is also small and just okay. You can even pay on credit when you leave. Overall, the value for money is decent—you get what you pay for
The breathtaking full view of the illuminated mosque was beautiful. The walk back to the hotel was a bit dark, but not a problem. It's a good location for visiting several mausoleums on foot early every morning

Surprise! The rooms and facilities actually look like they do in the pictures. The hotel is practically new and has been open for a month. The family that operate and own it has put a lot of love into the interior
Highly recommended hotel once you visit Samarkand, Uzbekistan. They are 7th month old in the business. It's a family own and the owner, staffs are very accommodating. They offer delicious and generous breakfast
The rooms were immaculately clean and thoughtfully decorated, with a tasteful blend of modern elegance and local charm. Every corner of the room reflected attention to detail and a high standard of comfort
The hotel is brand new, just opened a couple of months ago. We got royal treatment as we were the first Americans to stay with them since they opened. Pleasant walk from the hotel to Registan square
They went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcomed and well taken care of. The breakfast each morning was another highlight—fresh, flavorful, and wonderfully refreshing
We stayed at Astoria Boutique for two nights and had a wonderful experience! It’s a charming, family-run hotel with clean rooms, warm hospitality, and excellent service

Samarkand, ulitsa Oksaroy, 116 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Central location, a bit hard to find at first. Recommend you get your taxi to drop you off at the nearby monument and walk from there. Very clean rooms and helpful hosts.
Quiet but still central. Owner is very helpful and attentive.
It's quiet around, the beds are clean, the shower is clean, the amenities are minimal, but for a couple of nights it's enough. The main attractions are within walking distance
The hostel is very clean, the hosts are friendly, they cook home-cooked food for breakfast on time. They were able to check us in late at night and were always in touch
Cleanliness and hygiene is very good. Within walking distance of historical sites. There is an owner who is helpful and helps you with everything
The owner was very helpful and professional. Supporting team Ms. Zara and others were very supportive and helpful.

Very cozy hotel with Amazing staff!! We stayed at Arka Boutique Hotel last week with a group of friends, we came all the way from Spain
From the very beginning Anvar and his team were super hosts and attentive! For breakfast we had the chance to try local cuisinne and they were also able to organize for us a tour with a guide to discover the city of Samarkand and learn a lot of insights
The hotel staff is very friendly and the room decoration is impressive
very good quiet, clean, has good restaurant nearby
WiFi is poor which is an issue because the TVs are WiFi connected so did not work. Located 2km from the main square
I would definitely recommend!

We had a great stay at Sangzor Hotel. The room was spacious, and the bed, linens, and pillows were very comfortable. They also allowed early check-in. Breakfast was amazing—especially the fresh fruits
The hotel has a classic decor and a good size. Its main advantage is the excellent location, close to all the major attractions. The front desk staff were also very elegant and polite, and the price was reasonable.
Right in the heart of Samarkand's tourist area, we could walk to Registan Square and other sights very quickly, which made sightseeing really comfortable
Since this hotel is located on a pedestrian street, arriving and departing by ride-sharing service requires going to a spot not far diagonally across from the hotel, then passing through a small gate to a back street to pinpoint the pick-up/drop-off location
The hotel is amazing, room is clean, breakfast is delicious. the staffs at the front desk especially whose name is Diyorbek are very friendly and helpful. Our suitcase is damaged and they helped us do the repair.
This is a Uzbekistan regulation; if you've been traveling here for more than three days, border control might randomly check your accommodation certificates from hotels and guesthouses when you exit the country

We booked for 2 nights and decided on arrival to stay for one only - the staff Miss Mehraban was so cooperative , and changed for one night. The place is near by attraction, markets , coffee shop
I like the hotel because it’s small and tidy, yet very clean and comfortable. The atmosphere is cozy and peaceful, making it a pleasant place to stay

The place and the breakfast
It's close to Registan Square and the breakfast is delicious. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi is also excellent.
I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and would recommend it without hesitation to anyone considering staying in Samarkand. The central location, within steps from the Registan, is unbeatable
They helped me with directions to tourist spots and calling a taxi. They were happy to schedule my check-out to coincide with my return flight. Breakfast was delicious, with rice, bread, fruit, ham, cheese, etc
The hotel is located very close to the centre. Rooms are clean, cosy, with bathrooms. Flexible check in hours, as we checked in around 22:30 PM
However, the hotel is in a back alley, so it's dark at night. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was a little weak, but the hair dryer has a strong wind

The location is very good. You can walk to any tourist attraction you want to visit. There is also a restaurant not far away that specializes in pilaf, which is delicious! The price-performance ratio is also very high!
New, clean, and comfortable. There's a large smart TV with access to YouTube and other apps. Being able to use the washing machine was a big plus. The location is within walking distance to Shobhabazar.
Amazing hotel! Wonderful hosts. They offered tea and coffee upon arrival, huge, clean rooms with wonderful high-quality bedding and snow-white towels! Convenient location
The rooms have EVERYTHING for a comfortable stay! If I come to Samarkand again, I will definitely stay there again. Later, we checked into a hotel in Bukhara, a class higher. We missed the hotel in Samarkand
It was simple on the outside, no private territory or reception, but the rooms are made for people. The hosts are kind, helpful, and hospitable. 100 out of 10! Thank you for what you do!
A truly wonderful place to stay, a great location—very close to the Registan. Excellent rooms, beautifully renovated and with a balcony. Comfortable beds, everything you need for a comfortable stay

There are some variations from day to day and they make alterations for dietary restrictions. All the staff I interacted with were excellent. The receptionist was helpful and very fun to talk to
It’s a set, unlike the buffet offered seemingly everywhere else, but its presentation is gorgeous and I was never hungry for lunch
The hotel double checked our departure time and prepared packed lunch box with tasty burger and coffee! I highly recommend Hanifa Boutique Hotel to everyone visiting Samarkand
This little place on an unassuming street in Samarkand is the best hotel I’ve stayed at! The building is beautiful and clean
The location of the hotel, being in a secluded alley, but close to all major attractions was ideal. The staff were super, especially Asad at the front desk, who was kind and helpful throughout our stay
The Registan is about a five minute walk away, and the bus stop for getting to the train station is a ten minute walk away

The owner, Damir, is very kind and attentive. We were traveling with an elderly relative, and they kindly moved our room from the 3rd to the 2nd floor so he could avoid the stairs
The staff is friendly and ready to help with any requests—we asked for a kettle, and although it wasn't included in the standard service, they happily provided one and asked if we needed anything else
The rooms are spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with excellent Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, served at a lovely café on the first floor
We even had Turkish baklava for dessert! We'll definitely stay here every time we visit Samarkand and highly recommend it to everyone! Excellent hotel! It just opened, everything is brand new
The rooms are spacious, very clean, and comfortable. The Wi-Fi and air conditioning work great. The breakfast was simply delicious, served in a cozy cafe on the ground floor

This is a very nice place: The rooms and rest of the hotel are very clean and in great shape. It is a very quiet location, but not too far from the city center
They noticed that we were distressed and invited us into their guesthouse to relax until the roads opened again. If you stay here, I can guarantee that you will stay with very kind, welcoming and helpful people
By far our favorite stay in Uzbekistan. This family run hotel is nestled in a quiet neighborhood and has big, comfortable rooms, amazing AC, and the most helpful [English speaking] hosts you could ask for
They helped us , the other guests and also tourists they met on the morning of the triathlon race when all the roads were closed. We will always remember their spontaneous hospitality and their kindness
Khasanova Mavlyuda with her granddaughter. Very good, comfortable guest house. the host and his family are very hospitable. May Allah multiply their good deeds. Looking forward to next summer
This was without doubt my best experience in a guest house in Samarkand. The house and every room was very tastefully designed with obvious passion. Cleaning was continuous and impeccable

The rooms are super clean and fresh and the yard outside gives a very calm and peaceful vibe to the place! Our guesthouse owner was the kindest and sweetest person who helped us a lot throughout our trip! Highly recommended property as the location is also very close to Registan Square with lots of shops and markets nearby
The room was quite big and very clean, the hosts were lovely, and the breakfast really good
You can choose between fried eggs and poached eggs, both of which are made by himself. The small courtyard is very cozy, and it is very comfortable to sit in the courtyard and drink tea
At first I thought I was walking in the wrong direction, but luckily I was spotted by someone. I found it after calling him Breakfast is made by the owner of the B&B himself
My first hostel in Samarkand, Fariidun and his Father are nice, the lady is also kind person. They have the best hospitality, comfort room, and delicious food also. I will return here when i come to Uzbek in the future
My mom and I had a great stay at hotel Han. It’s located within a couple minutes walking from the registan, but still in a quiet side street, so it was very quiet. We could visit all the sites in Samarkand on foot

And the breakfast was absolutely outstanding
They have a rooftop with a nice view, and a shady garden. It’s dusty though, and the rooms are a bit tiny, but if you stay there a couple of days it shouldn’t be a problem. Wi-Fi was good in room N11 on the second floor
The location was excellent and Mr. Furkat went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The accommodation is perfectly situated, with all the main sights of Samarkand just around the corner
It’s a dreamy place full of old stuff: wooden crafted doors, furniture, carpets, and other things. The breakfast is migrating from place to place, every time it’s different
Nice place to enjoy the old vibes of Samarkand
breakfast in the damp cellar room described elsewhere but nothing rotten or spoiled, on the opposite diverse and tasty. Vipe a bit strange, owner tried to be friendly but came as pushy

The boss speaks a little English, the employees don't. The price for parking and sleeping in the camper was fair. The facilities were appropriate for the price, but could need a little improvement
The yard is beautiful and offers some quiet places to relax and drink tea, which was also provided free of charge. They have a washing machine and we were able to dry the laundry in the yard
We were here with our camper vans and were able to park safely in the building's yard. There are also toilets and hot showers in the yard right next to the small parking lot

All attractions are close in the center of Samarkand is located
The guest house is located near Registan, so you will have no problem going there by feet. It is a traditional house in a traditional mahalla, hence if you expect an actual hotel, it's not for you
The room did not have a shampoo but had a shower gel. Also, if you rent a car, be very careful with the roads in mahalla as it can be quite rough. To sum up: would reccomend to budget travelers
As for the guest house itself - it is clean and worth its mone. In our room there was no climate control which can be a problem if you travel in summer. In winter though, it is very warm
Some rooms on the first floor are being renovating and the paint smells super strong, can’t even breathe and gives the real headache
There is no bathroom on the second floor, and all guests share three bathrooms just next to the gate

Location is very close to all the historical centre, such as Registan! The hosts were lovely and the room was authentic, cosy, and traditional, which I really appreciated
A haven of peace and tranquility, with unbelievably delicious homemade breakfasts (and evening meal if you choose to eat here). Aziza and her sister and family are the epitome of hospitality and helpfulness
Rooms are comfy, clean and spacious and excellent WiFi throughout. Excellent value for money and in good location
Clean comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful owner and staff, delicious food for breakfast and dinner, much locally grown. All served in the garden, very relaxing. Would definitely recommend.
I should also mention that location of these meals in the courtyard was simply magical. The guidebook mentioned that they don't look for any other place when they're in Samarkand and I would enthusiastically second that
Antica is a beautiful, heritage courtyard garden with the guest rooms around the edges. This guesthouse is perfectly situated in characterful narrow streets clisevto all of Samakand's stunning historic sites

Very good hotel, renovated rooms, comfortable beds, and the owners very friendly and accommodating. The location is super central. We're from Germany and stayed for a week. I highly recommend it!
Cool Hotel right in the center of the city, I recommend it to everyone, + there is a backyard where everyone can relax, especially those with children
Good euro renovation, clean rooms. Located in the center of the city. Near a beautiful park, and to other attractions not far away
The staff were friendly, and breakfast was plentiful. While the older staff didn't speak much English, the younger ones did. It's close to the old town, and the university area is just a right turn away
The scenery is beautiful, and there are plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby. The only downsides are the lack of a kettle, toothbrush, and toothpaste
Of the shortcomings of breakfast for C grade, and VERY BAD insulation, you can hear everything that happens in the hallway and on the street
