The room was spacious and bright, with a bathtub, and very clean and comfortable! The location was excellent and convenient! It was fantastic! A truly beautiful hotel, I'd definitely stay here again.

This was my first time booking a hotel overseas, and overall it was a good experience. The price was reasonable, the room was quite spacious, and it was very quiet at night

Big room with comfortable bed. It is in a quiet location with many food options around. Good hotel if you want to be surrounded by local ambience. Would come back

The pillows were a bit too high, but everything else was fine. The only downside is that the location is a bit out of the way and hard to find!

True 3 stars hotel in 5 min walk from Lotte. I am sure this hotel has seen better times but I think it ok for its price

It's alright, but it's not very flexible. Several times I've had trouble extending my stay even after booking in advance, so I had to switch hotels after a few days and come back to stay. I hope they can improve that.

Top hotel experience is very good, breakfast is complementary and being a Muslim we face trouble in selection of dishes but the staff is too good they treat is well. They arranged halal food for us

Next to the Sino-Vietnamese Friendship Palace, the hotel was formerly the Friendship Hotel, located next to the palace. This China-aided building is now over 70% dilapidated

The hotel is about a 1-kilometer walk from Korean Street, where there's a large shopping mall. Overall, it's quite convenient for dining and shopping

The Friendship Hotel has since been renamed a top hotel, and its current guests are primarily Koreans from the nearby Korean Street

Very accommodating front desk. Not baby stroller/ wheel chair friendly. Needs to take about 1 sets of about 15 stair steps to lobby and 2 sets of 4-5 stair steps to go to elevator. Narrow elevator and walk path

The reception was nice. The room was very tidy and the staff provided me hairdryer. Thank you!! There are many restaurants nearby and very closed to public transport. Convenient hotel!

It was a great place and great location.  The breakfast buffet was great.  The room was a bit noisy, but that’s because it was in the old quarter and it’s all noisy there!

Great location,inside Hanoi Old Quarter and a lot local eatery.nearby. Family room is quite spacious. Good breakfast too. Last but not least, staff are kind and helpful.

The hotel is clean, centrally located, and close to attractions in the Old Town. The staff were very helpful with recommendations.

  Their breakfast is a lot even if it’s not buffet. The servers are attentive to our needs.   Generally, from the  staff from reception and others are helpful.   I still highly recommend this hotel

We had a pleasant stay at Royal Holiday Hanoi Hotel. Except for one request they missed. I asked that our room be cleaned after 2 days, since we also stayed here from February 3-6

The customer service here is on another level, everyone is incredibly kind and goes above and beyond to make you feel cared for, and they truly succeed. From the chef to the front desk, the entire team is amazing!

The room and hotel seemed much larger in the photos but they’re not that big. Love the sheets and pillows. They were quite comfortable.

This hotel is super central, but on a quiet road. Everything you may need is just steps away. Clean rooms and good service.

However, it isn’t a big deal breaker. For what I paid this place was great value for money

There are small supermarkets and restaurants downstairs, which are very convenient for eating and shopping

Small hotel, cheap, ok location but only one power outlet doesn't work, 1 room with 4 outlets can only use the outlet plugged into the cabinet, I'm on a business trip for a few days so I'm afraid to complain

Some rooms don’t have a window I prefer window rooms Wifi is really bad, and the 2nd floor is really noisy because the cleaning staff talks a lot. I prefer the 4th and 5th floors

Superb buffet brealfast - waiter was so helpful and friendly. I will visit them again for sure. Ah, we got room upgrade as well

Hotel does't have proper parking but location is so great as only a walk to landmark and street food are all around this hotel

The male and female receptionist have been very helpful and even assist us to extend our hotel room for late checkout. Totally appreciate the extension so we get to take a quick shower before heading to the airport

I like how they are able to provide recommendations for authentic food experience and not just touristy places. I could even buy a SIM card at the hotel (cheaper than airport)

Very centrally located in Old Quarter. seems to be located on a street w many stationary shops. Tour agency in hotel is very helpful

Highly recommend having them organize transport from airport as many taxis hawk for customers and are shady

The building was a little old, but the inside was clean and comfortable. The staff was also very kind.

This hotel is near Bãi Cháy Bridge. It's good location to see Bãi Cháy Bridge. You can take a picture of the bridge from your room in this place. The baggage handlers are good service. The breakfast is good taste.

Receptionist (Ms Phuong) was very friendly and spoke good English. The restaurant manager was also friendly and personally delivered a fruit plate to my room to apologise that the restaurant was under renovation

It's clean, full furnished. You can have breakfast on the rooftop. It's not so good but reasonable. It's located in the area with lots of local food

Even though the cruise ship isn’t the most modern, and the tender boat could use a bit of improvement, the rooms were still comfortable enough for a short stay

The highlight of the cruise was definitely the breathtaking scenery of Halong Bay. The natural beauty made any small shortcomings of the ship easy to overlook

The food on board was good, with plenty of variety, and the big windows in the restaurant offered stunning views of the bay as we dined

Incident I accidentally spilled coffee on the table and immediately cleaned it myself using a towel. Despite this, I was charged a penalty of VND 50,000 for the towel being dirty

They did arrange for our transfer to their sister hotel (Rising Dragon Estate) near the Train Street. We could literally see the cafes and the train from the balcony

However, we were unable to check in as the room we were supposed to get was still occupied because the guest got sick and had to extend their stay

Excellent location in the Old Quarter, near the Lake of the Returned Sword, many restaurants, shops. The room is clean, there is a small refrigerator, clean linen and towels

The hotel staff will help with transfer from the airport and booking excursions. The only minus of the standard room was a terribly uncomfortable hard mattress

But in a room of another category during a previous stay the mattress was quite comfortable

The air conditioner was aimed directly at the bed, so I slept with the window open, which overlooked the courtyard, where some Vietnamese were doing something all night. The breakfast was quite tasty

Good location of the hotel, almost next to the cathedral. Standard room, small window present. Furniture and plumbing are not very new, but everything works. You can hear the morning rooster, which wakes up at 5 am.

Although it's located in a back alley, it has good transportation access and is easily accessible to tourist spots. The rooms and shower rooms are clean and are cleaned daily. There's a refrigerator and Wi-Fi too

The accommodation also doesn't have an elevator, so you'll need to carry your luggage up and down. As for food, there are many restaurants near the accommodation. At night, it's like a night market with many bars

If you don't like the crowds, it might not be convenient. For us, who were just transiting through Hanoi for one night, it wasn't too difficult

Really enjoyed the stay here! The room was lovely and clean and as seen in the photos! There is a nice rooftop pool and the breakfast was enjoyable! Only bad thing about this place is the location as taxis are needed if you want to get to central Hanoi

Despite this I did still enjoy my stay here and would stay again!

There really wasn't anything suitable for Chinese tastes. However, the location is good, making it convenient to explore Hanoi's Old Quarter

All my questions were answered, and my bus booking for onward travel was perfectly organized. All in all, the price was fully justified

They were so nice! Because I arrived early, I was ready to wait for a room. But they said a guest had missed their flight and not checked out

Honestly, a highlight of our trip was knowing we'd end the day in such a comfortable bed and walking through the entrance knowing a friendly face(s), would always be there to provide assistance if needed

The refrigerator was broken and was supposed to be left at room temperature and cool down in a few hours, but by the next morning it still wasn't cool, and even though I asked for it to be replaced it was only replaced when I returned to the hotel in the evening, without a single apology

Great place to stay, near the main highways and right at the edge of the old quarter so not so noisy as being in the middle of it all and near the other main attractions. Great price also.

Greeted by the hotel staff with a drink. Room was fancy but not much space to store luggage. Cleanliness is rather ok, just there were some stains on the bedsheets and the shelves is abit dusty

Not many options of food for breakfast, fried rice, fried noodle, but good that they have options to choose from eg pho, scrambled eggs, porridge, ham etc

Location was great, its near the centre of the main attractions streets in Hanoi like egg coffee, Bahn mi 25, pho 10, beer street etc

The location of hotel is very good just nearby hoan kiem lack, but old… condition and hard to find the hotel for us.
