The place is clean friendly staff, everyone is helping us to book everything all in all good service and we love to booked it again and recommend to our friends and they even upgrade our room.

It was a great stay. Andrea was very polite and worked diligently. The hotel location was excellent, and the breakfast was also good.

The hotel upgraded us to a different location hotel, according to them it’s a higher level compared to the one we originally booked. Everything was good excellent customer service.

The location is fantastic, and the rooms upstairs offer a great view with windows that open, which is a huge plus. The cleanliness is also top-notch! Definitely a step above other places.

The hotel is ideally located right next to the Old Quarter, ensuring a quieter stay. The connecting rooms are suitable. The comfort and quality are commensurate with the price

We wanted to visit Hanoi, so it was a very good compromise as the place was only used for rest

It's surprisingly quiet despite being in a bustling area, so I got some excellent rest. The room was spotless, the bedding was comfy, and the bathroom facilities were great with plenty of hot water

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Clean rooms and good service except some waiters at the terrace restaurant. Nhung at the reception and Minh from the Restaurant are excellent and very friendly.

The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive; check-in was fast and efficient, and they were always friendly and quick to help with any requests – truly thoughtful and professional

I'd definitely recommend this hotel and will choose to stay here again on my next trip to Hanoi

The soundproofing was good too, making for a very peaceful and comfortable stay

Good location, on quiet street, near restaurants and coffee shops; services and facilities are excellent.

The little pool in the middle of the loud and wild old town is perfect for a little break. Only four sun beds, but we loved it

The breakfast did not have a wide variety of choices—it was just so-so. In the morning, it was quite noisy because loud music was played from the restaurant, which made it difficult to sleep if you wanted to rest longer

I also had a massage for 60 min in the hotel spa and it was so clean and comfortable. Tea, coffee and every day fresh water in the rooms. The staff is so friendly and helpful and you have a 24 h reception

Room was clean, we had a small issue with the shower but we told them. We didnt hear any noise from outside. Quality price the hotel was great, it’s not a luxury hotel but the service was like that

The location is very convenient, and the room is spacious. Point for improvement is cleanliness though, upon entering the room toilet I found an un flushed tissue paper in the toilet bowl though

The bathroom flooded after every shower, and since there was no door, it was not a very pleasant experience. The room was extremely cold, so I had to go to the reception to ask for a solution

Despite it being old and not best looking one in city I like to visit. Restaurant except for breakfast no use as are better choices nearby. For sure rooms should be cleaner and refreshed

Convenient access to the street

The hardest mattress I’ve ever encountered! Apparently the shower wasn’t great. There seemed to be hardly anyone staying there. We went for breakfast to find an empty room and no food, staff or guests

noisy, absolutely not sound proof, bathroom seems come out from '70s. rooms clean but really old furniture and moquette. on the back (more quite than street side) you have a "fantastic view" of docks

3* and not only 1 or 2, brcause food is fantastic and staff really friendly and capable to speak English

When I approached them with several non-standard requests, they handled them with high-level professionalism and genuine politeness, and they were always quick to assist with our luggage

The accommodation itself was highly satisfying. We stayed in a spacious room that featured a wonderfully large terrace. The bathroom was well-appointed and in great condition

The location was really good, a walking distance to the night market. The customer service was excellent. Our room was by the reception, it was a bit stuffy. 30am, and they kept our luggage until our time to the airport

We chose this due to having a pool on the roof, didn't end up using it but it looked fine just small. The standard of the room/bathroom however was the main downside for me. If I came back to Hanoi I would stay elsewhere

Bad value for money. Pool is very small and cold. Rooms are big but the space is not used, old and mold in bathroom.

Hanoi is too noisy and I wanted to travel quietly, so I chose the swimming pool to relax quietly. I chose Silk Hotel, but the breakfast was very poor. The swimming pool is dirty and not maintained, so it's really sad

It's smaller than I thought, but it's a nice hotel with a doorman. The room is clean and has everything you need. The rooftop pool is small but perfect for cooling down a hot body

F... dirty swimming pool. Asked clean or change water but, same condition of water. Million of dead bugs on top and bottom.

The hotel is relatively old and the towels and everything are gray. The slippers are not disposable.

Clean. The front desk staff was very friendly. It's very convenient to find food, drinks, and entertainment downstairs.

This hotel is ideal for travellers, short walk to Kiem Lake and other amenities, staff are amazing ,especially Martin the manger ,always there to help. this is my second stay here and I wouldn't stay anywhere else

There is a nice little restaurant just facing the hotel , the food is good and great value for the money Hanvent hopefully see you next year

I was left feeling confused and wondering if they thought I couldn't complain because I'm Japanese, but when I asked the staff to change rooms, they said I could be moved the next day, so they changed me on the second day

I made a reservation for 3 nights and 4 days. When I checked in, I was told I would be taken to another new building. Once I was moved, the room I was shown to was different from the photos shown

I stayed at the imperial hotel for 4 nights and I felt very warm. Especially the staff in the lobby were all kind and enthusiastic. The breakfast was exquisite and delicious

However, if you sign up for an optional tour, the hotel entrance is on a narrow road, so there is no pick-up or drop-off service to the front. The building is a little old, so the lights are dim so they don't stand out

Additionally, I noticed inconsistencies in room layout and amenities, even among rooms in the same category. Overall, while the hotel has its strengths, there's room for improvement in cleanliness and consistency

Also, this may be true of any hotel, but it's difficult to adjust the bath temperature. No matter which way you turn the temperature, only extremely hot water comes out. There is no bathtub, only a shower

I didn’t try the breakfast but I was told it’s pretty basic but will suffice and after all you have tons of places to eat around the hotel. I highly recommend staying here for anyone looking for a short or long stay

The entire hotel appears to be new, from the lobby to the guest rooms. The rooms are very beautifully decorated and the beds and pillow are nice and new and soft but not too soft

The hotel staff are extremely helpful with offering suggestions on where to go for the day and assisting with anything you might need

They provide all bathroom amenities and bottled water, a really good hair dryer and kettle. They have fresh fruits in the room too

Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was always enjoyable and I loved the chocolate and banana crepes! The service doesn't stop when you checkout! They took care of me right up until the time my bus left

The guy at reception even helped me find food at 11. But coming from Da Nang I found the location too noisy. They even helped me by packing breakfast for my daughter as she wasnt well

Spacious and clean room, good location. The bathroom is also spacious. Close to tourist attractions and the market. Just 450 meters from Bun cha Dak khim, a Michelin-starred restaurant.

Special shout out to Minh, with the glasses, in the bar. He went above and beyond to accommodate me. He’s a real gem! Showers were hot and the air conditioning was cold

Location was great - within easy walking distance to all the major attractions. From reception to housekeeping to the waiters/ waitresses - they were kind and helpful

Excellent stay. Very clean rooms. Efficient reception and very central. Just a super easy to be in and out. Stayed here for 3 nights and would do it again if and when I visit Hanoi.

However, it was a bit disappointing that the towels for wiping weren't kept in a warmer. I could hear the sound of them being washed on the spot, and they weren't wrung out very well

2-night family stay (Feb 2026) Location: Perfect! Behind Sapa Station. Short slope but very convenient. Nothing special view-wise but comfortable

The room worth the price. I got 3 beds, very spacy. Perfect. Old but classy. Good buffet breakfast. Walkable to Sa pa station, only 200m.

Location is good next to CatCat village. The pick up transferred from Lao Cai Station to Catcat Hill Resort is very good

The hotel is near the center, the receptionist contacted before check-in day to support enthusiastically, the room is clean and quite new. Will come back if I have the opportunity to go on a food tour in HP 😄

The biggest plus is that it's clean and smells nice. It's quiet and private (because there's no reception or anyone watching). The downsides: The water wasn't hot enough for a shower in the evening

Not sure what's up with the one and two star reviews. The place is clean, the rooms are nice, and the shower has a shower head. There is FAR worse in Vietnam and in town. Great stay for the price

Also, if you rent a car or check out and want to store your luggage, it has to be left outside, which doesn't feel very secure, though the security seems to be okay

Note: maybe hotel can improve by labelling the cooked food with ingredients. Receptionist can help to book any tour/ transport too. Circle K(convenient mart) is nearby. Massage shop, tour/travel office around the hotel

The hotel close to everything, guests will definitely spoiled for choices. The breakfast was alright, nothing fantastic but good enough to fill your stomach if you are not a choosy person

To tourist- Just note that the whole Old Quarter Hanoi road is busy with motobikes, sidewalks narrow and filled with parked vehicles, are not disabled/stroller friendly

Great stay at Grande Collection Hotel & Spa! The hotel is on a quieter street but still close to all of the restaurants and activities you may want to do in Hanoi

A great place to study swimming. The pool is big enough to learn swimming . It was a great time and experience. The only drawback here is the cleanness of water.

We stayed here and in the Old Quarter, and this was much much better. It's a purpose-built hotel on a proper plot of land (not a high-rise on a postage stamp) and therefore has space

Yet it is only a 5 minute walk from the Old Quarter and lake, and close too to the Opera and French Quarter. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast choice fantastic

The hotel location is perfect, right in the heart of the Hanoi city and near the tourist spots and beer street. The room is spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. The night view on the rooftop terrance is fabulous.

Reception gave me an excellent room on the 8th floor which was very quiet despite the loud music and party vibe on the streets

Restaurant is on the 9th floor with very friendly staff and an open buffet with ample of food to choose your breakfast. Lots of restaurants local and foreign around the hotel

I had a good time staying here. They help me with early check in where i can check in at 12pm. All the managers reception and bell boy really nice helping me
