The hotel is okay, the service is good, we got a free room update, the location is location far from the centre, so do not expect much of the entertainment around, but still for a 39$ stay in Hanoi, you got a room equipped with everything you need, spacious as well, would recommend this hotel if you have some business around the area

I tried to find a cheap place to stay in Hoan Kiem, but it didn't work out so I moved to this hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable with no smell. The staff at the front desk were also friendly.

The room was small but clean and tidy, quite comfortable. It wasn't very quiet due to motorcycle noises from a distant road. The front desk staff was very helpful and even waved goodbye when I left, which I appreciated.

The breakfast buffet is well-balanced, the open-air bath has a great view, and you can watch Japanese TV, making it a very comfortable stay for Japanese people. The hotel staff also generally speak Japanese

Hotel is surrounded by cafe and close to Chợ Đồng Xuân which is a good place to stroll around after few days in old quarter central. Lots of cafe for locals and less crowded street

Staff is very helpful, you can pay in USD and you can book a lot of tours from the reception. Rooms are clean, a bit used but very comfortable. I recommend the hotel if you want to enjoy a safe/ relaxing vacation 💯

Shampoo and conditioner were both good quality, my hair was very smooth and smelled very nice too (body shampoo was also available) We had dinner at hotel restaurant since we were tired from train ride back from Ninh Binh

The infinity pool and forest tour are what appeals to people the most. We particularly enjoy the assistance provided by the female staff in pool and others staff members, who are competent, cautious, and polite

I was satisfied with everything, but I left my glasses at the pool and it was raining heavily so I asked them to check, but they kept saying they would look for them and that they weren't there

Food was great and the spa was great too. Sauna, steam room, cold tub and hot tub. Couples massages and infinity pool looking off the cliff

When I went to look for them in the morning, they were still there on the sunbed where I had left them. I don't think they looked for them

We picked the Splendid Star Grand Hotel for the convenient location in Hanoi Old Quarter, but ended up loving the hotel more for the Amazing Staff!! Martin the Manager and Tommy he's right-hand man were absolutely amazing

Friendly staff jacket was very helpful as were all the staff. Clean and fantastic location.

The room's window was blocked by wood, so the window could not open and the sunlight doesn't come in. Because of that, room's air is bad and humid. Staff is very kind and location is great Breakfast is delicious also.

The stuff even helped in opening doors for us and even took our luggage to the car when we were heading to the airport

The rooms were very spacious and had all your needs. The only snag is that it was a good half an hour to the centre but as we are fit it was no problem to us. Taxis ordered at reception were very cheap

The gentleman behind the reception was very professional and helped us book a cruise on the bay by offering his opinion which turned out to be a fantastic trip and one of the best that I have been on

As soon as you arrive at the hotel, a waiter will help you unload your luggage and open the door to welcome you. The room is very clean and the bed is big but for me personally the bed is too soft.

We took an open top bus to look around and that helped us. We also loved the Plaza and the indoor market was great to look around and buy a few souvenirs
