Very business-oriented style, but overall I think it was great. The room was spacious, and the service was excellent, even providing slippers. I slept well. Plus, it's right next to the Belvedere Palace, and only about a 15-minute walk to downtown.

The Rennweg station, just 100m away, offers a direct connection to the airport, and the 71 tram takes you straight to Hofburg Palace in the city center. The Hotel Salzburger Hof is an Austrian dream! I went with 6 girlfriends to ski in and around Bad Gastein (highly recommended using Ski Miquel for excellent coordination and guiding). This hotel was one of the stops on our cycling trip. It's a little dated but still tasteful and clean. Beds are a little soft. The front desk staff could be a little friendlier but we've encountered this a lot in Austria so perhaps it's a cultural thing. The views are quite beautiful given the 1060 metre elevation.

I was given a room right next to the elevator. On the second day, I got a new room. It wasn't any better, and I ended up cutting my trip short. I checked out late afternoon on the second day. The property itself felt quite outdated.

Overall, it was a moderate experience. The bathroom was not in a very good condition. It surely needs a renovation. At the same time, the mattress was not very comfortable. Few products were provided for personal care. On the TV most channels were Austrian or German. The heating system was ok. The lobby too small. 10 minutes from subway.

It’s an older hotel and looked like it was modernized in the 80’s or 90’s. The decor is in need of an update. Driving is not recommended if you don't have a car, although it's very close to the lake and the miniature world. The lack of tea and coffee service inside, even in the lobby, was quite disappointing. The swimming pool was nice, but the sauna was so-so.

We had a great time at Alpenhotel Kaiserfels. The staff is very friendly, the hotel has great location just next to the lift, the rooms are spacious and clean and both breakfast and dinner were excellent. The pool is also quite larger and there's activities for the kids such as foosball and a kids room.

The place is a bit dated. Its not really modern any more, curtain had holes, at the pool and sauna area i spotted mold as well as rust. The food was more or less average. I think this place targets the older generations 40-100 year olds, who like that its still like it was in the „good old days“.
