The room was great, service was quick, and I had a very comfortable stay. They even delivered my takeout right to the room. It's super convenient for getting to the airport and the border crossing.

Bluewhale Bay is definitely the hidden gem hotel I discovered this year! This resort offers excellent value for money! The room was clean and odor-free, and the bedding was very comfortable. The Cantonese dim sum breakfast was delicious. The hotel is located in a quiet spot despite being in a bustling area, and you can even see mangroves when you take a stroll in the evening. Front desk staffer Xiao Zhang's service was a major plus – she was friendly and efficient.

Upon arrival, our room was already prepared. Ms. Sally from the front desk escorted us to our room, explaining all the facilities and amenities. She was very polite and provided excellent service. The room itself was spacious and cozy. The Cantonese dim sum breakfast was also very generous. We were extremely satisfied!

Very good experience here with my friend. Highly recommended

My overall stay was super comfortable. Milo at the front desk was so kind and attentive. The room was clean with no strange odors, and the bedding was soft and cozy, so I slept really well. The room also had great natural light. The location is excellent, and it offers great value for money.

Booked this hotel because of the good reviews on this site - particularly on the cleanliness but left with bed bug bites all over my legs. The first night I felt something pricking my skin while lying in bed asleep. I woke up to scratch my legs. Booked an East Wing room but got upgraded to a Main Wing room, very satisfied! The location is great, right outside the subway station so it's convenient to go anywhere. If you walk a bit further in, there's a residential area with plenty of food and shops. The front desk staff, both the young men and women, were all enthusiastic and helpful.

This hotel really exceeded my expectations for the price! For just over 500 RMB, it has a very grand lobby, and you genuinely get sea views with a very open and expansive vista. The room was also as spacious, bright, and clean as described. What's even better is that the subway entrance is right outside, making getting around incredibly convenient. This will definitely be my first choice next time...

The deluxe king room offers sufficient space for this area, and the cleanliness is generally good. I appreciate the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom, and the surrounding greenery is a nice touch. However, there was a strange smell in the hallway, and the bedsheets/duvet cover felt a bit damp. The soundproofing in the hallway isn't great, and I couldn't completely turn off all the lights when...

The location was nice and near the attractions, ard 10-15mins walk to the metro, staff friendly and nice. Would have wondered if it would be better if the room could have more light was a bit dim. None the less, great stay!

It is a budge t hotel, don't expect much. Breakfast options were very limited, they were clearly short of staff because the two ladies serving breakfast could not manage to prepare the food in time. They ran out of salad and tomatoes halfway through, The coffee machine broke on the first day of our stay and wasn't fixed so we had to get coffee somewhere else.

The environment is just so-so, and at this price, it's really not worth it. The room was a bit run-down with no repairs, and there was a musty smell. I'd definitely recommend staying at a regular hotel instead; this one is not really recommended!

The room is clean and tidy, with a wet and dry separation design. The large sink is especially convenient for placing toiletries. The hotel is located in the core area of Overseas Chinese Town (OCT), with many restaurants and shops nearby. Next door is OCT Creative Culture Park, a popular spot for influencers. The free parking service is a great bonus in the expensive OCT area. Thumbs up!👍

The soundproofing in the rooms is terrible; the people upstairs kept dropping things, and we could hear the TV and conversations from the next room very clearly.
