The Shanghai EDITION in Shanghai

This is my second hotel in Shanghai on my business trip. The room offered a striking, direct view of the Oriental Pearl Tower. Its central location near the Bund and Nanjing Road made it highly convenient for both meetings and exploring the city. Overall, a distinctive and well-executed stay that complements a business trip with a more contemporary edge.

Excellent service, especially a big thank you to my personal room attendant who provided outstanding service. The hotel environment is fantastic, and it will definitely be my top choice for business trips to Shanghai in the future. Also, the chocolates are absolutely incredible, especially the white chocolate ones!

Our stay in Shanghai was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The hotel’s location on central Nanjing Road was perfect, surrounded by the energy of the city while still feeling luxurious and comfortable.
From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. The doorman warmly welcomed us, and the guest service agent immediately assisted with our luggage as we entered. Check-in was fast, smooth, and incredibly efficient, which made a wonderful first impression especially after traveling a 12 hour flight from Canada.
The lobby itself was breathtaking with soaring high ceilings, elegant decor, and even a pool table that added a unique and sophisticated touch to the atmosphere. Every detail felt thoughtfully designed and was very cozy.
One of the standout moments of our stay was the incredible hospitality from Lewis. He personally escorted us all the way to our room, introduced all the amenities in detail, and made sure we felt completely comfortable. He even let us know we could contact him anytime if we needed assistance, which truly made the experience feel personal and welcoming.
The room was spacious, elegant, and beautifully maintained. We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary gifts included with our stay, along with a lovely fruit platter waiting for us upon arrival, it was such a thoughtful gesture.
Overall, the service throughout the hotel was top notch. Every staff member we encountered was attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. This was easily one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had, and we would absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Shanghai.

The service at The Shanghai EDITION Yona was superb! The staff were warm and polite, providing meticulous and thoughtful service throughout. The experience was excellent, feeling both high-end and comfortable. It was a very satisfying trip.

The location is excellent, right on East Nanjing Road. I loved the signature scent of the Edition Hotel, and the room felt incredibly spacious thanks to the high ceilings, with a great view of the Oriental Pearl Tower nearby. Breakfast was served à la carte and was delicious. In particular, Yona, who assisted me, was exceptionally kind and attentive throughout my stay, allowing me to fully relax. I plan to stay at The Edition again on my next visit to Shanghai.

My stay was absolutely fantastic! Bonnie at the front desk was incredibly warm and attentive. She handled both check-in and check-out quickly and efficiently, always with a gentle and patient demeanor. She immediately helped resolve any issues I had. Her kind attitude and radiant smile were so heartwarming, and her attentive service throughout my stay added so much warmth to my trip. Highly recommend!

I stayed at this hotel for three nights. I had very high expectations, and the actual facilities, atmosphere, and especially the service exceeded them. I cannot leave out praise for the staff. They were kinder and I felt their sincere care more than at any other hotel I have ever stayed at. I would like to express my deep gratitude, especially to Yona, who took care of us exclusively. Thanks to Yona, I was able to use all my reservations and room services very comfortably.

Stayed at The Edition again, having previously enjoyed The Sanya Edition, and this experience was just as good! Everything from the service to the breakfast and the staff's attitude was fantastic. So worth it! The location is excellent; Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and a mall are right downstairs, and it's close to The Bund. Great value for money!

The hotel's location is excellent and convenient, offering views of Shanghai's iconic 'three-piece suit' skyline. Ms. Yona proactively added me on WeChat, and upon learning I was traveling with a child, thoughtfully prepared toiletries, slippers, and even gave us some dessert. It was a very satisfying and pleasant experience! I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shanghai!
