My No. 1 choice of stay in Shanghai! Location, luxury and service standards, size of room and the view, convenience of being connected to the entire mall and Jingan train station.

I've stayed at the Jing An Shangri-La multiple times, and the experience is consistently great. My only regret this time was booking the wrong hotel, which led to a last-minute reservation here, and unfortunately, no twin-bed room was available. Despite my efforts during pre-arrival communication and at check-in, I still couldn't get a twin room. I even left my favorite bottle of drinks in the fridge when I checked out!
However, Eileen at check-out was incredibly thoughtful, giving me a New Year's souvenir. Thank you! Happy New Year 🎉

This room type is definitely not suitable for elderly guests or children. As shown in the pictures, the shower and toilet areas are open-plan, making the floor very slippery after a shower, and there's a high risk of falling when using the toilet.
The natural light is excellent, and the room is spacious. However, the minibar items are not complimentary.
The executive lounge, located on the entire 55th floor, was very crowded during the Chinese New Year, but the arrangements were orderly and well-managed. That said, I was quite disappointed with the food quality, both in the afternoon and evening.
Breakfast was decent.
The gym is a highlight, spanning 600 square meters with a wide array of professional equipment.
The location is also a major plus.

The service was excellent, and the room was meticulously clean with all the amenities you could need. Getting around was a breeze. The hotel's food was also delicious, and the night view was absolutely stunning, perfect for photos! Had a wonderful day.

Every time I visit Shanghai, I stay at the Jing An Shangri-La. The shopping is fantastic, and it's incredibly convenient for dining and parking. As an established hotel, they do an excellent job in all aspects. I'll definitely be back again.

The hotel boasts an excellent central location, right next to Jing'an Temple, with a shopping mall and subway station just downstairs, making transportation incredibly convenient. The front desk staff, a very friendly and helpful gentleman, arranged an upgrade for me and even sent some complimentary fruit. It's a fantastic choice for both business trips and leisure travel!

Woke up at 5 AM to incredibly loud noises from the room next door – a lot of shouting and yelling, seriously! It kept me awake; the soundproofing in this hotel is really bad. I’ve stayed in so many hotels and never had this issue before. The next day, I called the front desk, and they told me the neighbors were staying another night, so I had to switch rooms. I was so mad – why should *I* be the one to move? The manager only offered a complimentary breakfast as compensation. However, the service attitude was good, the room was clean, and the location was excellent. It's just that the hotel staff seems a bit complicated.

The room was great, really good. I'm not sure about the tech stuff, though. Not sure what 'not resisting' or 'heart' means here. I'll just keep watching TV. Most of the people I see reading are from the armed police and the Ministry of Science and Technology. Everyone, take a look at the economic hinterland, it's not bad.

Traveling with a child, I felt so warmly welcomed. Both the front desk and room service were thoughtful and attentive. The pool was also very nice. Special thanks to Tina, Jean, and Lucia at the front desk 😊

It's a 5 star review because these guys do a pretty good job at everything they do, consistent and across the board and whilst you may have had better in a dedicated restaurant to a certain cuisine it's unlikely you had the same consistently across all cuisines and to a good standard. Element fresh manages it and does it well.

Great salads, great service, great location. However, expect to pay premium for these salads and drinks since they do give you above average food and experience overall!

The salad was great, perfect for a weekend lunch. If the weather is nice, the balcony is a perfect place to eat and enjoy a semi-quiet place in the city.
